Woodcock Cycle Works: what do users think?

Brent “Dabody” Bodnarchuk: I Had The Pleasure Of Being Assisted By The Sales Manager James In Buying A Giant Revolt 2 Today. I Was Extremely Anxious As It Was The Biggest Investment In A Bike I'd Ever Made.He Was Very Informative & Honest Whilst Displaying A Unique & Very Human Understanding Of My Anxiety. James Went Over & Above What I Or My Wife Expected, Whom Was Also Incredibly Impressed With James.Without The Time James Took With Us, Professionalism & Sincere KindnessHe Displayed I Highly Doubt I'd Have Purchased The Bike Today.James Is A Credit & Amazing Asset For Woodcock Cycle Works.

Matt Gregory: Great service, dog friendly and some fantastic bikes! Nicholas went out of his way to fit and set up bikes for me and my wife, then arranged for me to pay online when my credit card wouldn't work in the machine in-store.

Nancy Kelly: The best. Ginge is amazing! So helpful, knowledgeable and fun!!!

Joanne Longley: Took my bike in for gear adjustment and they did a great job. The Service was friendly , knowledgable and helpful. I would certainly use their Service again.

Allan Pelletier: Great service. Showed up with a broken rear derailer and they changed it for me while I waited. Took away the stress with my WPFG race in a few days. Thanks to all.

warren jerris: next level service every time we come in

Shawn Schell: Great communication and shipment follow up from Ethan.

Lindsey Wiebe: Very helpful staff!

Adam Roy: I've been ordering a ton of bike related gear online lately, because my local stores in Atlantic Canada are pretty much limited to only Trek stock, and I'll admit I'm not super into that brand for a bunch of reasons.Anyway, a lot of my orders this summer have been shipping incredibly slow. Like, they've been picked off the shelf slowly before they've been packed for skipping. Sometimes a week before shipping. Not Woodcock. The person shipping my gear was named Olga, I believe, and my stuff actually got to Halifax about 4 or so days sooner than I expected via Canada Post.TLDR: Thanks, team! I'll work with you again and recommend you!

ERIC C: Awesome service department

steve barsby: I buy all my cycling gear from woodcock and have all my servicing done there as well. Woodcock is by far the best bike store in Winnipeg

M B: Great group of guys! Helped me pick out and set up my bike.

Darin K: If I could give them 6 stars I would. They opened the door for me before they were open as I was walking home with a flat. Highly recommend.

Adam Kowal: . Anders and Jenny did great work and were pleasures to be around. This place is like the unicorn auto-mechanic: Good service, good prices, and they'll tell you what to watch for on your bike, what needs fixing today, and what needs fixing tomorrow.I will say that when you talk on the phone, you are talking to a friend of yours in the community who wants to fit you in, not the corporate front desk - that is, don't mistake genuineness for obtuseness, and just go see them in person. Thanks guys. See you next time.

Hamid Ashrafzadeh: Great service and very helpful, friendly staff.

Peter Howie: Wonderful staff providing a unique product at remarkably accessible prices. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you!

Rebecca: Love my dutch bike from Plain Bicycle. I also ordered a front child seat and it has been so great to use with our toddler! We get comments on it all the time asking where it is from, as they are rare to find in here. 100% recommend if you're looking for a comfortable ride for urban use.

Drew Perry: Friendly and helpful with a repair at a very reasonable cost.

Justin M.: I needed a quick front hub/bearing replacement as my front wheel was wobbling a lot and called a couple stores and they both told me they couldn’t fit me in for another 4 weeks. Thankfully I found and called Bicyle Garden and they told me they could accommodate me if I showed up that same afternoon. The guy took my bike in as soon as I showed up and I was able to see him work on my bike and be done within less than an hour! They saved my day and their prices were super fair! HIGHLY recommend this place. I’ll be back there whenever I need something related to my bike for sure!

Plain Bicycle at the Forks: what do users think?

calvin seigler: The staff were super nice and super helpful on helping me decide which Dutch bike to buy! I brought it back to the USA without any problems! It was also easy to reach the store from their main store by bicycle. I highly recommend checking out both stores!

Paul Radosh: 30 Jun 23 as I realized during my ride that the chain and cassette sorely needed replacement. Scott asssisted me and went above and beyond to fetch the right high quality parts located offsite. The work was completed in approx an hour and the initial quote, which was very reasonable, proved accurate. Thank you Scott for you expertise, exceptional service, kindness, genuine care and consideration!

Angel: Rented a Dutch bike at the forks location because it was very convenient for me. We had some bike issues after renting, but Plain Bicycles was able to to resolve those problems as soon as they could.Overall, I enjoyed my Dutch bike experience! Winnipeg was the perfect place to try the bikes out since the city is mostly flat.

Marcus K: Awesome place! Staff were super friendly and helpful when helping me choose a dutch bike. A minor issue popped up with the bike shortly after purchasing, but they were able to quickly fix it up for me and it works great now! They are missing a huge opportunity by not stocking dutch candies for the nostalgic fans of the candy train though...

Lee Willy: Love my bike from Plain Bike! Dutch bikes are so comfy, get one!

Miggles: You can rent bikes for a fee or test them in the immediate vicinity for free. The higher centre of gravity on Dutch bikes was not as jarring as I had anticipated it would be. The turning radius on the other hand is quite wide compared to mountain bikes. 100% would recommend a dutch bike for commuting/hauling if your route is mostly straight & flat.

Bee2gether Bikes Forks: what do users think?

Mia Balansag: Fantastic Bike Rental Experience at Bee2gether Bicycles! Our visit to Bee2gether Bicycles was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a fantastic bike rental experience. The bikes were easy to handle, and we appreciated the adjustable seats, especially for the kids in our group who were excited to give cycling a try.The rental prices were definitely value for money, as we had an amazing time exploring the area on the bikes. The convenience of renting the bicycles allowed us to leisurely pedal our way to the nearby bridge and even stop by "Le Monkey Bar" for some delicious ice cream treats. The additional option to rent basketballs and table tennis equipment through the "Play" program was a pleasant surprise. It provided extra fun and entertainment for our group, making our visit even more memorable. One of the highlights of Bee2gether Bicycles was the impressive variety of bikes available for rental. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a beginner, there's a perfect bike for everyone to choose from. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth rental process and providing helpful tips for our cycling adventure. If you're looking for a fantastic bike rental place that offers quality bikes, great value, and a wide selection of options, Bee2gether Bicycles is the place to go. We had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend this spot to locals and tourists alike. Your experience may vary, but I'm confident you'll have an equally enjoyable time exploring the area on their bikes. Happy cycling! 🚲🌳

Yarid Karim: Great bikes and really friendly employees. Good for families and large friend groups but also has bikes for people just by themselves

Nikoo Niknafs: They do have a few single bikes as well. It was convenient. Great experience!

Mary F: Friendly staff member helped us pick the right type of bike. We had a great time in the two person tricycle booking around the forks. It's surprisingly strenuous! We were pretty tired after an hour. Flat fee for the first half hour and then a decently lesser rate for each half hour after that. Fair price all in all.

Adam Sperry: Always a fun time with the family at Bee2gether. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun time!!

Edwin Voetman: This is truly "The Small Shop With The Big Heart". I have been dealing at this shop for many years. First with Walter and now with his son Sebastian. Over the years I have purchased a few bicycles and ski equipment and have never been disappointed with the product purchased and the service given. I have always been treated with honesty and knowledge and would advise anybody looking for a good bike, cross country ski and all accessories to visit Lifesport at 411 Pembina Highway where I am sure you will receive the same welcome and service I did.

CliffordW: Great service. Knowledgable staff.

Jay Bains: Nobody else would even try to help me repair the blown tube on my young sons 16 in bike. I called at least half a dozen bike shops and they all said to leave the bike for a week. Most seemed uninterested. This was during covid, so places were quite busy. I called Lifesport, and even though they were busy too, they were willing to do it. I showed up and within 45mins they completed the repair! My son and i were super happy and appreciative. They showed old school concern and attention to customer service. Most def go here for all your bike needs. You will not be disappointed!

Austin Vialoux: Picked up my Aventon Aventure.2 step thru today. They fully charged the battery and modified the handlebar for extra height. Great service. Aventure.2 did 1hr 15 min of mixed riding at full speed most of the ride 32kph. total of 28km and still have 58% battery so expect about 2-2.5 hrs or 55km of fun per charge on this fat bike.

CJ Lein: Very friendly staff. Calm and patient for ALL my dumb questions. Very approachable, and not pretentious and snobby like other shops.
