Sams Restaurant: what do users think?

Ashton Riley: It's weird, not seeing this as a Robins...

Curtis Fehr: great food

Jeff N: If your REALLY hungry try the Arizona Supreme you won't be disappointed! You could feed two with this burger, bacon, onion ring sandwich. Great food and incredible service. We'll definitely be heading back after finding this gem for the first time. Thanks for making service and food quality such a priority, appreciated.Recommended dishes Sandwiches Parking space Plenty of parking …

Michenda Barrow: was kind and friendly. When bringing our food out, I made comment that it looked amazing. He laughed and said 'I made it with love, so if there's something wrong, it's my fault'. There was absolutely nothing wrong with anything we ordered, it was phenomenal.Fantastic overall service, quick and reasonably priced. The resturant was very clean as well! Can't wait till we return!

Dianne Koss: went in to place our order and there was a lovely lady at the door opening it for her, she was prepared to sit and wait, but they insisted she go back to the car and 10 or 15 mins later our order was brought out to our car. Took it to my daughters to enjoy the delicious and still very hot lunch. Will definitely go there again and highly recommend the reasonable, very tasty food, very clean restaurant. And thank you for your kindness to a couple of seniors. ❤️

German Society of Winnipeg/Schnitzelhaus Winnipeg: what do users think?

Keith Reid: I really hope the Schnitzel Haus opens again and soon. Need my Schnitzel.

Sherry Charbonneau: The food is fantastic! Generous portions and friendly staff

John Broadhurst: Amazing doesn't do it justice. For 22 dollars you get enough food to feed 2 people, all of it made fresh and extremely delicious. It's like eating home cooking except you're really in a restaurant.

Michelle: Nice evening out in Winnipeg. Great menu - reminds me of all the good foods we had at Oktoberfest in München a few years ago. Bratwurst was perfectly done on a bed of sauerkraut. The spatzle was very good - interesting flavours. We shared a plate of handcut veggies with butter and caraway seeds on top - was very nice. We also had the chicken schnitzel- very nice with the bacon and mushroom sauce. The radler with raspberry flavouring was excellent - would totally recommend this.Nice decor and ambiance in this restaurant - its upstairs in the German society of Winnipeg - entrance is at the back of the building.

Geoffrey: German Society of Winnipeg/Schnitzel HausWe weren't planning on visiting the Schnitzel Haus but rather the downstairs restaurant for Taco Week. The parking is in the back of the building and there was ample room to park when we went 7pm on a Friday night.Once you enter in the back of the building there is a staircase. You go up the staircase and the restaurant is on the left, the washrooms are on the right. They have a good selection of beer and a decent menu. The staff was friendly and attentive. We had the Chicken Schnitzel which came with red cabbage and spatzle. We also had the Bratwurst which also had the cabbage and spatzle. We also tried the hand cut veggies with butter and caraway seeds. The Schnitzel was cooked perfect and was juicy and tender. The Jäger sauce had a delicious mushroom and bacon flavour. The Bratwurst tasted great, both tender and juicy.Overall it's a great place with tons of character.

Bryan Wissman: Great food and atmosphere. Really big portion sizes, so I had some to take home.

Robert Janzen: Oki

Mike S: Excellent authentic food and even better staff n chef

M. Haussecker (Buffy): 1978 September Bundeswehr Pzbtl134: ..... red cabbage, roast beef dumpling, will never forget it

Brazen Hall Kitchen & Brewery: what do users think?

Crumpnpump: I'll preface the review by stating if I reviewed Brazen Hall in 2022 it would be a solid 5 stars after eating at this location multiple times. However, with that being said the 2023 experience is vastly inferior. I ordered two award winning burgers the Krakow and the Classy Viking on separate occasions. The Krakow had a sour flavor from the pickled red cabbage and was unfortunately the predominate flavor of the burger overshadowing the rest of the flavor profile. The Classy Viking while also pretty good was missing the crispy part in the onions and thus were very sad and squishy. Additionally, the burger was missing the subtle sweet flavor in the mustard chow chow blend that previously brought all the flavors together. The sides that came with the burgers were polar opposites with the cauliflower cheese soup being outstanding and perfectly seasoned. The beet salad was borderline inedible due to the overwhelming sourness of the red wine vinaigrette and the almost complete absence of the sweetness from the beets as well as almost no goat cheese and wasabi peas.Additionally, I ordered the Prickly Dillemma poutine which was absolutely fabulous and was easily the best item ordered this year. The flavors were great, really allowing the dill pickle flavor to shine utilizing a subtle sweet and smoky flavor from the candied bacon as well as a gentle spice from the chipotle hollandaise gravy to compliment the dill pickle flavor. Only gripe I had with the dish is it contained multiple full unground black pepper corns throughout which added a nice flavor however the tooth jarring impact of biting into one was not pleasant. The craft beer selection and quality is top notch. Also very reasonable prices on their draft beer. I do not think you could go wrong with any of the beers on tap. Easy 5/5 on the craft beers. If you are for some reason one of those people who only go to restaurants with a high emphasis on service expectations I guess you wont be disappointed as the service at Brazen Hall was really good. Friendly wait staff who knew the specials on hand and gave ample customer space while also ensuring you always had a full beverage.Overall recommend the location reasonably priced and food is good though if you have taste buds a far cry from spectacular.

Erik F.: Had a pint of Raspy the Red Beard which was really enjoyable paired with the trio of Brisket Tacos which were also delicious.Great service.

Christina Pankiw: Service: 4/5

G Quinn: Our family loves it here and you really cannot beat the Chicken Fingers and fries here. The portion sizes are really good and more than enough for hungry teenage boys. The staff are all very friendly.Street parking can sometimes be an issue. A parkade is available beneath the Delta Hotel.

The Grove Pub & Restaurant: what do users think?

Tylen Lee: . Everyone else in my group seemed to enjoy their food/drinks as well. Service was top notch; fast and friendly.Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options. From the top of my head, there were cauliflower bites, a burger and a pizza.Parking: Parking was readily available on the side street right beside The Grove. You can also park infront and I would imagine there are other areas as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there’s wheelchair accessibility. Doors are wide enough and there are buttons.

Gerach: that tasted great. Size is a dinner plate, i.e. individual.Just in case you're wondering, there's no Danielle 1.0.

Bailey's Restaurant: what do users think?

Laura J: We celebrated our wedding anniversary here. The staff is courteous and friendly. Our waiter was kind and accomodating. The food was spectacular as always. I love the ambience here.Wheelchair accessibility: They have an elevator to take you to second floor for dining. Great for people with mobility issues.

Coletan Manchester: Hosted our wedding reception here, and it was a fantastic experience. Brad, our server, went above and beyond to ensure everyone had everything they needed, and following the guests were all commenting how wonderful he was.Upscale food cooked to perfection.I 100% recommend hosting special occasions at Baileys.

Bradford Wallace: It had well over 15 years since my wife and I had dined at Bailey's . I wasn't sure what to expect but kept an open mind. From the second we walked in the front door, we were made to feel like Kings and Queens. I'm absolutely blown away at the attention to detail the staff showed, which is very rare in today's world. Our waiter Patrick went so far above and beyond his position, he should be serving Kings and Queens. He is such a valuable asset to this business. We came hungry and with Patrick's desire to provide an excellant dining experience , and his amazing knowledge of in-house products , well we left totally fulfilled and even had some take home, yummy. . I cannot stress enough that If you want the Dining experience of a lifetime. Then forget the rest and dine at Bailey's. You will not regret it. So impressed with our experience and we will be back k. No question. To the management and staffAt Bailey's Thank you from the bottom of my heart.. Other restaurant management and staff need to dine here to see how its done right.

Anna Storoschuk: My friends and I dined there last Sunday. We were attended to by Hero.He was great! I know he has to be but he was very attentive and we enjoyed our dining experience. The food was very good and we weren’t rushed!Hope to return soon!

The Wood Tavern: what do users think?

Bing Yue: On my recent visits to The Wood Tavern, I’ve been nothing short of impressed. This week, in celebration of burger week, I took the plunge into their touted burger, and it was an absolute revelation. The first bite was a symphony of textures and flavors, with the patty being the star of the show. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and boasting a rich depth of flavor, it’s evident that a great deal of thought and craft went into its creation. The ambiance of The Wood Tavern complements the dining experience beautifully. Rustic yet refined, it offers a cozy environment that feels both welcoming and upscale. If you’re a burger enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates high-quality food, The Wood Tavern’s burger week offering is a must-try. But don’t stop there; given the excellence of the burger, I’m eager to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended.

Jack Wood: Came in for a beer when I got it it was warm, and flat before I could ask for a different one, the bartender walked away and didn't come back. I had to ask for someone else to give me the bill and left. The bar looks nice though good atmosphereEdit: managment was quick to fix all issues and address all concerns. Would definitely recommend to anyone going for a night out.

Rob D: Good food.Went for a 50th birthday party. Waitress took care of a huge table. Did very well!Food was good and NOT over-priced!

Stephanie Folbert: Thanks for a great lunch!

Velvet Glove Restaurant: what do users think?

Shawn Pflueger: Went for the wonderful Nutcracker High Tea. My partner booked the seats so I don't know if it's still available, but it was a great experience. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. They have a special menu for the kids too which our young one loved. We even stole a few bites from each other.Extra surprise was the Santa sitting near the entrance. He was so still I accidentally mistook him for a statue initially. We of course got a family photo with jolly saint nick.Velvet Glove of course is great anytime. I'd be worried for my pocketbook if I worked downtown.

Liezl Calitis: it was not very busy - which was great for us!Aside from going to experience the high tea life, we were also sending off a friend who was moving and they were very accommodating and made that occassion very special. I would definitely go back to do it again! The hotel does have street parking, but they also have a parkade

colleen mccaulsky: Love the service and food

Gerry Yorke: High tea

Stayci Keetch: The food is amazing. The perogies are out of this world.Dan was amazing and Maria was fantastic.

Deer + Almond: what do users think?

Dominic Angelo: barista at Little Sisters Coffee Maker recommended it, but I left feeling like I just had the best meal of 2023. Deer + Almond is perfect for a romantic evening or an occasion worth celebrating as there is no doubt you’ll leave beyond satisfied. I recommend the bone marrow w/chanterelles, goldeneye nigiri, beet agnolotti, and peanut semifreddo

Gail Horvath: Dining here was an experience I will remember for years. Every dish was unique, beautiful, and delicious. It felt like I was experiencing art. Four of us dined together on an evening where there was a fixed menu, and we shared so we could try every single dish on offer. Every dish was a joy. The chef made use of many local, in season ingredients and combined them masterfully. The server was warm, knowledgeable, and professional. This is not an intimidating fine dining experience - you will feel comfortable and relaxed and the chef may even come by to greet you. The fixed menu had more food than we could eat so we took some home. I recommend budgeting for a special dining experience here - it is good value for the effort put in by the Chef and staff and the wonderful ingredients. A Deer + Almond experience will not fade in your memory like other ordinary evenings at a chain restaurant.

Stephen Strike: 4 course options from the preset choices were all beautifully arranged and full of flavor.Smaller dishes in each but enough food by the last bite to satisfy the vast majority. The couple sample dishes could have easily been on the menu as options.Service was top-notch, providing a detailed outline of the ingredients of each dish and how it was prepared.Maybe a touch pricey, but the food was worth it and not the drinks. The only con I have is the atmosphere. Felt like eating in an old cafe and the amazing food was out of place. It's definitely worth a try.

PAMN: Really an outstanding restaurant! The service is awesome because they give you a wine tasting and also intricately explain the items you are ordering from the dining experience menu. Valpolicella Superiore and Deer Carpaccio are match made in heaven; it was my first time having a deer dish that too in carpaccio form - loved it and it was my favourite 😻 from the menu! Green Pappardelle was soft and tasty with a flavour bomb in that fiery chilli oil, wow 🤩🔥 Pork Schnitzel and Honey Custard had nice presentation but tastes ok compared to the first two dishes!! The restaurant is extremely hygienic and tip top with a casual ambience Palette cleanser served at the end and complimentary starter received were also good 😌Vegetarian options: They had vegetarian options also available on the menu!Dietary restrictions: They do ask whether you have any allergies!
