3MFishball Restaurant: what do users think?

Mia Balansag: Title: Fantastic Filipino Flavors at 3MFishball!I recently had the pleasure of dining at 3MFishball, a restaurant specializing in Filipino cuisine, and let me tell you, it was a delightful experience! The moment I dug into their sour cream and cheese fries, I was transported to the flavors of our beloved fries joint, Potato Corner. It's fascinating to learn that both have Filipino origins, and the resemblance in taste was uncanny! The barbecue at 3MFishball was a revelation. It was impeccably soft and tender, with flavors that seemed to effortlessly melt on my tongue. While the gravy didn't quite resemble traditional gravy, it had its own unique charm and still managed to be delicious. What stole the show for me was their bubble tea selection. Each sip of the mango bubble tea tasted genuine, like they used real fruit, and the watermelon flavor had a pleasant tang reminiscent of sour candy. The taro bubble tea was a perfect balance of sweetness, making it an absolute treat. The simplicity of the tapioca pearls added a delightful texture to the drinks.Surprisingly, the chicken feet turned out to be a highlight. Their preparation was nothing short of amazing, proving that this restaurant can excel with even the most adventurous of dishes.Despite initial doubts due to negative reviews, my experience at 3MFishball completely shattered any reservations. The flavors, the ambiance, and the service combined to create a memorable meal. I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit, as this restaurant has won me over with its mouthwatering offerings. Kudos to the team at 3MFishball for bringing authentic Filipino cuisine to the table in such a remarkable way!Parking: So accessible

Bernard Tindoy: I highly recommend this 3M fish ball restaurant @ winnipeg , the food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Special thanks to chef Omri . We all enjoyed your delicious food especially the sizzling steak and the gravy sauce is appetizing . The Fishballs are yummy .The dish is one of a kind, as if I don't want to stop eating.

Leozel Reyes: We had a great brunch yesterday #latepost#yummyfood#foodie

Virginia San Juan: The staff are very friendly and their service are great. Lots of delicious food choices, free coffee and soup. And the price is affordable. 3M is one of my son's best choice restaurant. His favorite is the Tapsilog and Sizzling Pork belly.

Tenzo: One of the best Filipino breakfast places in Winnipeg!I personally had the tapsilog which consists of beef, eggs and garlic rice. The beef was tender and wasn't thinly sliced. Packed with amazing flavor for such an affordable price. This truly topples many that I have been to, this is an abosolute must try place, highly under-rated.

Nikola K.: Very good food and very nice atmosphere. Tuna bowl was outstanding and along with appetizers more than enough. Meals seemed to be perfectly portioned, blackened chicken had a wonderful taste to it. Service was great and professional. We will be back

Cherryl T: . It was really tasty and I even have leftovers! I would order it again without prawns. My husband ordered the chicken club with onion rings and he enjoyed it. He ate everything so quick! We were very happy with the amazing service

Gordon Hudson: 1st time there. Went as they sponsor our Mundie Putter golf league. Bit of a drive from where I am but very happy for my choice to do so. Service was excellent, food was even better! I would definitely make the trip again!!!!Parking: Zero concern for parking. Lots available!

C.A. Thomas: Nice space in the heart of downtown. Vendors are on the pricier side but all in all it's worth it.Atmosphere: 5/5 …

Christopher Sigurdson: Now don't get me wrong, this is a great spot to meet for business, beers or food, my only issue is as someone who can cook, it's hard to justify going for tacos, sandwiches or burgers when I can cook for a full party at home for less. I like that they've tried to keep things local, the music is good, and the vibe is great. One thing I don't like though is that they use the serving robots. Seems like that'd be a few easy entry level jobs that they kaiboshed.

Missy Isles: This place was busy! We visited during the week at lunch time, and there were lines at just about every establishment. It is such a cool place! It has a great variety, so there is something to fit everyone's palette. We are at Saburo, where we got a Dan Dan Bao Bun. We also got a DeNiro pizza at Gusto North. If you have ever desired an upscale mall food court, this is worth your attention! I wish we had more time to look around and try each location because it seems like each restaurant has their own unique qualities!

Brazen Hall Kitchen & Brewery: what do users think?

Crumpnpump: I'll preface the review by stating if I reviewed Brazen Hall in 2022 it would be a solid 5 stars after eating at this location multiple times. However, with that being said the 2023 experience is vastly inferior. I ordered two award winning burgers the Krakow and the Classy Viking on separate occasions. The Krakow had a sour flavor from the pickled red cabbage and was unfortunately the predominate flavor of the burger overshadowing the rest of the flavor profile. The Classy Viking while also pretty good was missing the crispy part in the onions and thus were very sad and squishy. Additionally, the burger was missing the subtle sweet flavor in the mustard chow chow blend that previously brought all the flavors together. The sides that came with the burgers were polar opposites with the cauliflower cheese soup being outstanding and perfectly seasoned. The beet salad was borderline inedible due to the overwhelming sourness of the red wine vinaigrette and the almost complete absence of the sweetness from the beets as well as almost no goat cheese and wasabi peas.Additionally, I ordered the Prickly Dillemma poutine which was absolutely fabulous and was easily the best item ordered this year. The flavors were great, really allowing the dill pickle flavor to shine utilizing a subtle sweet and smoky flavor from the candied bacon as well as a gentle spice from the chipotle hollandaise gravy to compliment the dill pickle flavor. Only gripe I had with the dish is it contained multiple full unground black pepper corns throughout which added a nice flavor however the tooth jarring impact of biting into one was not pleasant. The craft beer selection and quality is top notch. Also very reasonable prices on their draft beer. I do not think you could go wrong with any of the beers on tap. Easy 5/5 on the craft beers. If you are for some reason one of those people who only go to restaurants with a high emphasis on service expectations I guess you wont be disappointed as the service at Brazen Hall was really good. Friendly wait staff who knew the specials on hand and gave ample customer space while also ensuring you always had a full beverage.Overall recommend the location reasonably priced and food is good though if you have taste buds a far cry from spectacular.

Erik F.: Had a pint of Raspy the Red Beard which was really enjoyable paired with the trio of Brisket Tacos which were also delicious.Great service.

We came for oyster night they were worth it!While the restaurant does have mains and features, we opted to share and had oysters, calamari, and ended the evening with a nice cheese plate. The custom cocktails were great, lots of variety. They also had fabulous wines.

Anika Maria: is such a delight to chat with. He takes such passion in his craft, it resonates in the food. 💯 recommended.

Bob Smith: I should have reviewed this place years ago! I have had everything on the menu here and it’s all amazing. There is no other dining establishment in the city I can say that about. Today was a chicken shawarma and falafel. The falafel was a first today and it is the best I have ever had. The owner is such a friendly and great man, always looks to make sure you are enjoying his food and you can tell he has spent a lifetime putting his love into perfecting his food. He has a cookbook that’s called Good Mood Food. Buy it, his food is just that good mood, and healthy food!

Imtiyaz Ahmed: Good Lebanese cuisine

Anisa Adam: I used to order shawarma and fries from here and I’ve never had a tastier shawarma ever since. I left Winnipeg almost 2 years ago I’m writing this review feeling so nostalgic. If I ever decide to visit or move back to Winnipeg, this place is the first place I’d stop by to dine and enjoy

Charlie Cabungcal: Our first visit was a success today. Friendly staff and the shawarma dishes we ordered were delicious. Will definitely be coming back and trying the rest of their menu.

Benson Yip: I recently visit, very pleasant. It's very interesting place, the exterior bares no resemblance inside, which is quite nice and spacious. I only had a bowel the medium deluxe won ton soup, which was very good. I also ordered an order pork and cabbage dumplings. They were quite good, but a little pricey. It was suppose to come with a corn congee, but I forgot to remind them to bring it out. The service was excellent and very helpful. I will be back to try some other dishes.

Kyle Goldstine: Favourite spot in Chinatown, my go-to soup spot, love that they chop rotisserie chicken and throw it in the soup! Food is always amazing and owners very nice. The breaded dry veal is unmatched, a must try and very different than anywhere else I’ve had in Winnipeg. Can’t wait to try the new dumplings made from scratch to order at the new dumpling counter!

Destiny W: Everything was so good! But the lemon chicken was not as good, it was thin & hard, so I will not order that dish next time. Everything else was amazing, though.

Taylor C: .. definitely nothing left on the plates 🤤A photo of our order is included, and EVERYTHING was fantastic! I HIGHLY recommend the sizzling beef and the Cantonese chow mein!Give them a try - you won't regret it!

George Adams: Best foid in the city get #88 & Lemon Chicken so good.

fabian varon: Súper delicious place

Mike Bettens: One of my favorite go to spots in the city of Winnipeg!!! Been 2 years since my last review and wanted to state once again that this unique dinning experience is still one of the best! Great people and food.

Cameron Wilkie: Excellent Chinese food! Ginger beef was great. All food had lots of flavour. Would recommend.

Kevin Gordon: One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the city. If you are looking for a great dish to try, go for the Ginger Beef. Absolutely amazing.I havent had a bad experience yet. Friendly staff, quick service, tasty food and available for delivery on SkipTheDishes. Can't beat Sumhay!

Little Nana's Italian Kitchen: what do users think?

Hogan Mullally: Great food. Generous portions.

Kuba L: I absolutely loved this place! The moment I walked in I felt very welcome, the waitress was so welcoming and I immediately loved the atmosphere. I had an amazing time here and loved the food! The portions were very generous and the food was delicious! I will make sure to come back here before I leave Winnipeg. Everything about this place was great from the atmosphere to the food to the service. I recommend anyone who finds themselves in Winnipeg should try this place! Loved it!

Sophie Brown: Fantastic hidden gem off of notre dame. Our table had the burrata, arancini, calamari and many of the seafood pastas and every single one of the dishes were to die for. Generous portions for a fair price. The limoncello at the end is a nice touch. Our waitress was amazing, and even memorized our entire table of 8’s order which was outstanding. It did seem quite understaffed, but regardless she did an amazing job. Would highly recommend and return!

Brian Hiebert: This was our second trip to Nana's. Our first was around a year ago, and was great. On this trip the food was also excellent, and the service was impeccable. The only two concerns were around the charcuterie board, which contained a nice selection of meats and pickles, but only one kind of hard, VERY strong cheese. Second was that the interior needs some attention. Many of the seats are now worn out and torn and in desperate need of repair, and the clear glass lampshades above every table are very dirty. When you choose to have clear glass shades, you have to clean them almost daily.

Jepppy: Bit the bullet and ordered takeout from this restaurant, I always believe you jeopardize your food quality when you order takeout from a restaurant.I was so wrong on the food quality after getting home, food was delicious, portions were nice and the spaghetti carbonara, I never tasted anything like that before.Grate taste, everything tasted so fresh. Will be back, probably tomorrow. 👍

Kait Evinger: highly recommend! We had the osso buca, which was our favourite, cooked to perfection served with a savoury mushroom pasta. The insalata was fresh and bright with a really funky gargonzolla bite. Bread, along with everything else, is made in house and served with a quality aged balsamic vinegar and XVOO. The sauce with the appetizer meatballs was to die for, rich and layered flavours but not overpowering. There is a a serious sauce chef there, as the mussels also came with a fabulous one. Service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is surprisingly modern with each table having it's own alcove, providing for an intimate setting. Be warned though, portions are enormous! Little Nana's will not disappoint.

Fred Harris: Such a lovely little place, and our server Natalia could not have been more welcoming, pleasant, & accommodating. Servings were huge. The light breading on the calamari, hot banana pepper, and zucchini appie served with a bright lemon cream sauce was a perfect starter! The fired up wheel of parmesan became affectionately known as the Cheese Wheel of Death... Picture a table side flaming ladle poured into a concaved bowl hollowed out wheel of parmesan... Now, picture the fettuccini with mushroom and bacon being tossed in all that melty goodness! Oh yeah... pictures! Plus, I came home with two or 3 more servings of the stroganoff style, broad noodle porc ribs, and some leftover spaghetti! Definitely, a return visit in my future.Parking: Across the street, Indigo parking

Roger Hopper: Fantastic little Italian joint! Flavorful and authentic food, and great service! Bread with dipping oil is to die for, some of the best we've had. Nana's salad also very nice. Braised beef entree looked and smelled so good we started to split it between our plates before taking the picture! Huge portion sizes, as this place is known for and as our pictures illustrate. Espresso cheesecake for dessert was decadent, and little limoncello digestifs with it were a very nice touch. A must-visit if you are visiting Manitoba!
