Timber King Outfitting: I did a good amount of training here and was impressed by their professionalism. What impresses me most is that it was done in 2014. Fast forward to 2021 and I’m following through with completing my license at a different school because I moved to B.C.. After 7 years I call Dan and ask him if he can mail my credentials and he said no problem, they’ve been filed for 7 years and he found them immediately, well organized and highly recommended. Awesome company.

The instructors - the management -And last but not the least, the maintenance folks.You come prepared and push yourself hard, and they’ll push you harder. If you’re unprepared and unmotivated, well then, you’re on your own.Their prices are pretty reasonable too.#One thing that ive learnt from my past experience is that the smaller and simpler a school and its infrastructure looks the more better for you and faster you get done with your training because of their availability and the cost.Instructors focuses on their students more,they are very experienced and friendly. They are true teachersSo i guess you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover.Great place to train, learn and prep towards the licenses, and ratings. Highly recommended!
Rosalynd Dalton: I have been doing all of my training at Winnipeg Aviation, and it has been one of the best experiences. My instructor, Faheem, is intelligent, extremely intuitive, and is one of the best instructors I've had. I had my Fam Flight with him last year, and signed up that day.Safety is an absolute priority, and it's easy to see.I have found that everybody from the owner, Dan, to the instructors, and the AME are patient, helpful, and always willing to answer any questions.

Burke Libbey: Fantastic ground school. You will be significantly over-prepared for the PPL exam if you pay attention. Huge breadth and depth of content, all presented quite well. If you want to learn to not just pass the exam but to additionally actually survive flying an airplane, this is a good choice.

Atalla Haddad: I haven't actually started my training yet, but I swung by the place about two weeks ago to ask some questions. The lady at the reception desk was super nice and really helpful, although I totally blanked on her name. She had short hair and was from Ontario. I was originally planning to check out the other school, Winnipeg Aviation Flight, but after talking to her, I was like, "Nah, they really care here." So if you're reading this, thank you a bunch! I seriously hope you end up being my flight instructor down the line. 5 stars for her!!
Kyle Munn: I’m 20 hours in so far training on their Citabria for a Rec license and besides the cost which you can’t avoid no matter where you go, the service and experience has been top notch! The planes are kept in the best shape they could be for trainers and the online scheduling system is very easy and convenient to use. I would highly recommend Harv’s to anyone interested getting into or pursuing aviation.
Kyle N: I finished my PPL at Harv's in St Andrews last month and I'm currently doing hour building and CPL there. So far it's been a great experience. I've flown with 4 instructors for different ratings/checkouts, all of which have been excellent, and even instructors I haven't flown with are happy to answer questions and address anything I'm unsure of. I'd recommend them for sure.
