Brightwater Senior Living of Tuxedo: what do users think?

Dani M: Brightwater provides exceptional care! The facility is very clean and well maintained. I consistently have a positive experience from the moment I enter, to the moment I exit the building. My family member thrives in this environment and has made a lot of connections with both staff and other residents. Highly recommend!

Fatima Kahn: Nice new facilities. Setting a new standard for care homes.

Nunzio Marceca: As a former employee, Brightwater was a wonderful, safe, clean and caring working environment. Staff would go the extra mile to ensure the comfort, health, and safety of the residents. I would recommend Brightwater.

Dmitry Kusnetsov: Great experience. Very clean and well managed property with friendly staff.

Preet basanti: Working at the Brightwater is woderful ! it’s a great team of management and emplyoees. Loving and caring environment with focus on creating home environment where olders can enjoy life to its fullest !I definately would recommend this place to anyone looking to live in great community and for those seeking employement opportunities.

Maria Hall: My mother has been at Brightwater for a year and SHE couldn’t be happier. My mom needs assistance for various daily tasks but still wants to feel independent and the staff does a great job of doing both! I live in Boston and knowing mom is so well cared for and that she’s living a full and happy life gives me unbelievable peace-of-mind. The meals, the activities, the nurses and caregivers are all the best!

Lauren Shodine: Staff and management are always there to lend a hand! Compassionate and quick care all around!

Faisal R: I love this place my grandfather is here, I have a huge crush on one of the receptionists too, I hope she likes me back

T Nepinak: My review dates back to March to November 2021. My father ended up in the hospital Feb '21 and was told he couldn't return to independent living in his little apt., so the family started to research retirement homes with support. We met Brightwater management and got a really great feeling about him living there. The experience for him and my family well exceeded expectations. It quickly turned into "his new home"! The staff are sooooo thoughtful, loving, friendly..... Now for the management.....so professional and they make you "the family" feel as important as your family member living there. I am not a person that leaves ratings but felt a need to. If there's something you want to discuss with management, they get back to you quickly which makes you feel important and your family member is cared for. Last but not least, to the future resident.....sign up for activities and meet new friends, my Dad had a blast playing Bingo!! from the family of RK

Ekeen Saad: At Brightwater, you can see the care and compassion the staff provide each and everyday. Aging in place with 24 hour charge nurses and health care aides truly sets this community apart from any other. Senior living done right!

Riverwood Square Retirement Living: what do users think?

juan manuel rodriguez duran: Nice place the seniors be good here

Sara Duncan: I felt he was well take care of here, all of his needs were met and knowing he was safe gave me such peace of mind. During his time here there was a bit of a COVID outbreak and the staffs quick response and coordination to keep all the residents safe and healthy was excellent in my opinion. I would have no problem recommending this place to anyone. 10 stars if I could give them!!

Ron T: to live.

Claudia Chernitsky: Very nice retired homeLot of great activities for seniors

Janelle Forrester: My grandparents have lived at Riverwood since 2019 and they have loved every minute of it. The management is organized and respectful and truly care about the residents and the building. I strongly believe this is the place you want your family to live. It is a great building for people to start on the Landing/Assisted Living side and should they need, they can easily move over to the Harmony Court/Memory Care side whenever they need. It is in a convenient location with beautiful scenery, the Courtyard is so lovely in the summer. The staff truly care about the family of their residents as well and try to get to know every person as an individual and not just someone visiting the building. I have also worked in the building for 2 years and I have enjoyed my colleagues and making connections with the residents. Riverwood Square feels like a family and I would highly recommend Riverwood to anyone looking for assisted living or supportive housing! A wonderful building.

Liv Gardiner: Started at Riverwood as a family member of a resident and then became staff. It is the best job I have ever had. As a loved one, it is so clear how much the staff cares for the residents; as staff, I can say that I care very deeply for the residents in this building. I am glad my grandparents live here.

susan loeppky: Love this place

john fraser: Great place for mom to live in!

KADRI KADRI: I work here as a support worker for a very sweet client and everytime I leave her after my shift, I say "She's in good hands 24/7 even if I'm not here".. The receptionist? They are the nicest people I've met in Canada so far.

Lorne Moffat: Probably the best retirement home in the city. The building is always clean, the staff is always friendly, and the care given to each resident is the very best!

Kyle P: I’m very grateful for the excellent care my mother received here. My mom said until the day she passed that the staff were so accommodating. I’m thankful I chose this care home.

Audra Lee-Anne Forsberg: I am very happy to share a heartfelt review to all who read about this facility. I found the people there went above and beyond to try to connect family and were extremely caring when it came to looking after my 68 yr old sister who spent the last few months of her life there. I often wonder how difficult it must be to please everyone at a time when the world is facing such difficulties and when covid effects the usual and familiar way of caring for & visiting loved ones. The facility is not a new one but it was very clean and my sister gave us no complaints on how she was treated or the level at which the nurses and facilitators cared for her.At this time we are forced to correspond by either leaving a voicemail or writing an email and I'm sure that they sometimes might have been short-staffed or changing staff but I always heard back from them. I was able to make a plan very easily to either connect via a phone call in an office with my loved one or to have a designated time to meet outside her window. All facilitators seem to communicate with each other as best as they were able to and someone always got back to me with a plan.We need to respect how hard these frontline staff are working, how at risk they are and how much they are doing their absolute best that they can.Shout out to all nurses, Jennie, both Melanie's and any workers that made my sisters stay there as comfortable as possible.Virtual hugs to all, we are together in this battle 💪❤Lee-Anne Forsberg

Chris McMahon: Professional staff who render excellent care with a personal touch

Gordon Newton: The general tone of SRRR is very friendly. This describes all the staff. It also applies to all the residents. Some adjectives which I would apply to the staff are: obliging, helpful, respectful, curious, approachable, and supportive.

Marian McEwan: My mother resided at Seine River Retirement Residence from 2016 to 2020. She was very happy living there and loved her suite, the staff and the beautiful dining experience. As my mom was in beginning stages of dementia, she did visit the front desk often with requests of all sorts, which were always taken care of. The staff had time for queries and were always kind and helpful. The staff also helped me by listening to my concerns regarding my mom and never made me feel awkward. They treat their residents like their own family and that was very apparent with mom..I would honestly recommend Seine River Retirement for your loved ones.

Lauren Cooke: I am the owner of Leapfrog Moving Specialists, Inc. We provide full service moves for older adults into buildings such as Seine River. Over the last 14 years we have moved several residents into the Seine River. I have had many great experiences working with the administrative staff at the building. They are a huge part of what makes living at Seine River so comfortable. I would definitely recommend a family to move in into this building.

River Ridge II Retirement Residence: what do users think?

Judy McFee: River Ridge II is a wonderful retirement residence and community. My father moved to RR2 during the height of the pandemic after a serious health scare. The staff were incredible at answering all our questions and accommodating our requests in order to make the transition as smooth as possible. The care demonstrated by the staff is genuine and my heart always felt lighter when I walked in the door because I knew my father was in a safe place where he flourished. I highly recommend RR2 to anyone and their families who are looking to transition to Assisted Living. You won't regret it.

Suzanne Girouard: I'm here for respite, I have a serious case of cervical cancer which can't be removed. I live in Steinbach Manitoba and the traveling back and forth was physically getting too hard. Finding this place to help care for me while I'm getting treatment has been a HUGE help, the seniors who live here are amazing and the staff I can't say enough about them!! Anything I need they are there, from meals, laundry, cleaning everything I'm unable to do.This is not just a seniors home its for respite as well.. know your loved ones will be taking care of like they are a family member and treated as such!Chassity McIntyre you are amazing and so kind, thank you for everything you do here at River Ridge 2

Kristen C: The independence that residents still have is amazing.I would move here if they would take me!Employees.. wow the employees. I don't even know if you could call them that. They become family. They are the reason River Ridge 2 is amazing..To say they go the extra mile is an understatement. They consistently go above and beyond any expectations you may have had.Shout out to Chassity, Vanessa, Maria, Zadenka

Betty & Sandra: I was very apprehensive to uproot my father and his wife who have dementia and place them in a facility even though I knew it was the right thing to do for them. The staff were so very friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly supportive through the whole process. They were fabulous with me initially during the first tour, then with arranging to have their belongings packed and moved to River Ridge II, to welcoming my father and his wife. I was so worried the transition would take a long time for both of them but within a couple days they were quite settled. They have been there for 6 months now and it was the best thing that could have happened for them. They eat regularly, have contact with other people and are able to participate in activities. All this helping them to live the best life they can while living with dementia. Things don't always run smooth but the staff is always willing to help solve problems if they turn up. The caring from the staff is very reassuring and appreciated.

Paul Merritt: We moved my Aunt into this facility about 8 months ago, after looking at a ton of assisted living facility's we chose this one, and we were not disappointed. First of all the facility is beautiful, they have a ton of daily activities, and the staff treat the residents like they are family. Thank you for taking amazing care of my Aunt, I highly recommend this facility to anyone.

Trena: The rooms and facility are very nice and clean. Working with Chassity was great as she took the time to go over details to accommodate my father-in-law. We were impressed with the different levels of care and safety measured available to ensure residents are safe and well cared for.

Doglover: Mom moved into RR2 after my dad went to Deer Lodge, leaving their home of over 60 years. Best move ever! She made so many friends, it's like a small community. Her friends from before were of the same age and due to driving restrictions, getting together was hard so her social circle expanded greatly at RR2. When my dad passed, she was supported by other widowed residents. After a few years she had to be moved to the secure area where she lived for another few years having a quality of life not available in a personal care home. The staff were so kind and caring, keeping me in the loop when needed. Even in the secure area she still participated in activities, keeping her more mobile than she would have been on her own. Balloon Ball was a favourite. As we've recently had to move her to a personal care home, I was surprised at the number of staff that stopped me in the halls while I was cleaning out her apartment, to inquire about her and share stories of her time there with me. I credit RR2 with providing my mom some of the best years of her life.

Dean Sirname: Our family did our research and on paper RR2 checked all the boxes for what everyone would want for their loved ones. Moving in the December pre-holiday period, during a Covid-19 epidemic could not have made their job any easier to surpass my high expectations.Chassity and her team stepped up and passed the test by helping us out with every detail. Their experienced team acts more like family when it comes to helping out my mother with a few special needs due to medical restrictions. The front desk staff are so good at keeping an eye out for everyone, making sure no one ever misses a meal by losing track of time. All the staff in the Dining Room greet each guest and treat everyone with respect. The maintenance team are always friendly and go above and beyond when it comes to taking care of residents needs and even lent me a tool on move in day. We celebrate on mom’s cleaning day when the ladies come in with their warm greetings. Even though everyone is forced to wear masks, you can actually still see the cheek muscles raising from the smile on their faces.I suggest anyone that goes for a tour make sure you say “Hello” to a few of the residents to see how pleasant and happy they are, which I think may be a reflection on the facility. Don’t be afraid to ask Chassity those tough to approach questions. The RR2 works very closely with the W.R.H.A. and Chassity could provide some good guidance as to where the boundaries are between the two groups when you may not be clear on who to contact for any services.

Maksmama 1234: . I guarantee that Chassity and her team will welcome you with warm, open arms and it will be the best decision you will make!! Having someone care and watch over mom in addition to her own family is the best gift we could have been given!!!Longer...I toured RR II without my folks a few times and honestly couldn't have been more impressed from the moment I walked in the door.Is it beautiful, YES, of course, but that wasn't what impressed me, it was all the smiles on the residents and staff. The happiness you see is because the residents feel cherished and special because RR II staff ensures that they are!!Mom is the happiest and healthiest I have seen her in years!! Before she moved to RR II she was surviving, barely, now...she is absolutely THRIVING!!! To see her laughing and smiling everyday is a gift in itself! She went to RR II without knowing a soul and now has friends and is enjoying life like she deserves to enjoy it.Staff- outstanding!!Food-outstanding!!Accommodations-outstanding!!Entertainment-outstanding!!Care taking/cleaning-outstanding!!Give Chassity a call and book a tour now, you won't regret it, I promise you!!

Petef Feher: I researched many Assisted Living facilities in Winnipeg for my elderly parents. From the initial contact via phone in Ontario to visiting River Ridge II in person three times, my interactions with Chassity McIntyre were simply excellent. She went above and beyond my expectations. Her knowledge, honesty, compassion and energy helped me navigate a daunting task. Even though my parents opted for another facility in their neighbourhood, River Ridge II was a real contender due in large part to Chassity's efforts. I can confidently recommend River Ridge II to any family / friends thinking about this life transition. Thanks Chassity!

Ron Fischer: RR2 is an amazing place. My experience with my mother being there is nothing short of amazing. This place is filled with angels at every level. We brought my Mom from another province to this place about two years ago. The front staff were amazing in putting us to ease about her care. The proof came in the following years. With her failing health, they helped us transition her from one area to another area of RR2. Best move we ever made. Thanks RR2 for being the angels surrounding her as she lives out her final years.

Gayle Charach: with the staff as well as many of the other residents.I regularly flew in from Toronto and stayed at the residence to visit with my folks and I cannot begin to sing the praises of the facility! The staff are warm and nurturing and without a doubt deeply care for all of their residents. The food is always delicious, and the activities are fun and engaging. Most importantly we slept well know that our parents were safe. Throughout the difficult time of the past year and some of the pandemic, the staff bent over backwards to try and minimize the impact on their residents. They worked tirelessly to keep them entertained as best they could, given all of the lockdown restrictions. They went above and beyond in attempts to keep residents connected with family.Recently we’ve had to move my mother to personal care as her care needs became more than what was manageable in assisted living. Saying goodbye to the River Ridge II team was so difficult! We will miss their smiling faces and their loving natures. And of course, we cannot thank them all for the past 4 years plus of peace of mind knowing our parents were in such good hands. We moved my father to another building run by All Seniors Care and he already loves it; they are just as accommodating as River Ridge II.If you are considering an Assisted Living facility for yourself or family members – consider River Ridge II where the smiles are as warm as the food and the care is compassionate and sincere.

Darren Stevenson: Recently I found myself unexpectedly having to immediately deal with the long term care needs for my mother after an accident and the associated acceleration of her existing dementia. The pandemic, as we all know, throws unbelievable complications into everything. Navigating the care options available for my mother is not as simple as Googling “help me with my mom please”. The system is complicated and confusing at the best of times and when you are dealing with someone’s care important and stressful to get it right. I opted to talk to someone live to get some insight after having navigated the net for a while to my overall frustration. I made a cold call to River Ridge 2 as they were in my neighbourhood.I was directed to Chassity McIntrye the Lifestyle Director at River Ridge. While I was expecting Chassity to sell me on their solution I was more than pleasantly surprised with her kindness, compassion and advice. Chassity listened and honestly cared about what I had to say and how I was feeling. She took an inordinate amount of her time to speak to me and consistently followed up with me on how I was doing. While River Ridge turned out not to be the right solution for my mother, without Chassity’s help I wouldn’t have been able to find the right solution and feel good about that solution. I’m eternally in her debt for being the right person at the right time for what she did for me. I’d not hesitate to recommend to anyone to speak to her about what River Ridge could offer given her professionalism and overall human decency. Chassity is a strong ambassador for River Ridge, evidencing how people should be treated regardless of the immediate financial outcomes to them or their employer.

Berly: The facility is bright, warm and inviting. The staff are friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. The food is good, the suites are spacious and lovely!

Kacey-Lee Beech: & it shows with the staff as wellCOVID safe events for residentsno tripping hazards - all flooring one level, railings for additional supportemergency pulls in every room in case they need assistanceIt's a fantastic place that gives the rest of the family great peace of mind that our parents are safe and well cared for.

Kali Kazina: We love River Ridge II! We have family in the building and they love living there. They are always telling us about all the fun they have, great staff, and great food! Thank you River Ridge II for all you do. It puts my mind at ease having my family in such a great place, especially considering everything that is going on with CoVid-19. I have felt so safe having my family there during this time. I recommend this Retirement Residence to everyone!

Carolyn Rozmus: After a lengthy hospital stay it was evident prior to discharge that my dad required some extra care, his dementia was progressing so we needed to find a secure, comfortable place for him to live. My family toured River Ridge II – Boulevard North and were very pleased after speaking with Chassity and nurse Cydney that the Blvd North was able to accommodate my dads needs. All of the staff on the 2nd floor Blvd North are so caring and compassionate, and dad is getting the care he needs. Throughout COVID 19 all of the staff at River Ridge II have been so supportive and caring. It is a difficult time for families when we are not able to see our loved ones, however the staff have been and continue to be our extended family: our eyes and ears, communicating with us and being there for dad and for us whenever we need them. We can rest assured knowing that dad is being well looked after by our River Ridge II family when we cannot be there.Thank you to Lori and all of her staff at RR, for the care you provide it has been top notch! If you are looking for a safe, comfortable place for your loved ones I recommend contacting Chassity at River Ridge II and booking a tour. You will not be disappointed.

A Leibfried: My parents and I checked out several residences before finding RR2 which was the one where they both felt most at home. It took a few more years before they were ready to move in and unfortunately that was during the first wave of the pandemic which raised many more questions that we would never have thought to ask in the beginning. Thank goodness RR2 had a good plan in place and Chastity took the time to walk me through their stringent procedures and reassured our family that they would be well cared for, even under these trying circumstances, and that it was still safe to move in..They moved in on September 1st when the province’s numbers were low so my dog Lexus and I were able to visit frequently and get to know several staff and see the humanness they bring while providing professional care. They really care about their residents and this shines through and they work hard to build a team of support with the family. Although it has been more stressful now that the provincial health restrictions do not allow me to visit in person with my folks, our FaceTime calls let me know that they are managing well and that the staff at RR2 are taking great care of them and going that extra mile to keep them safe.I also asked my parents for their thoughts and here is how they feel about RR2:Life at RR2 has been very different from what was anticipated prior to moving in September 1st 2020. Of course the surge in the world-wide epidemic has turned life upside down for everyone. We recognize the need for strong actions given the heavy responsibilities facing the staff at RR2. And, in fact, we greatly appreciate the efficiency, openness and pleasantness of the entire staff. We thank you for all for doing all possibly can under these difficult times. Keep up the good work!Ann, Jim and Mary Leibfried

Shaftesbury Park Retirement Residence: what do users think?

Don Pearsons: Very accommodating to my special needs.

Shannon Timlick: This review is long overview! My dad moved into Shaftesbury Park on February 15, 2022. Right from our first visit, I knew this would be the perfect place for my dad. My dad was in the hospital so doing his visit via FaceTime, and Cheryl was careful to make him the focus of the meeting, addressing him directly and answering all of his questions. When he moved in, Nurse Jennifer came to meet him and that was the beginning of her “above and beyond care” for my father and our family. Unfortunately, my dad only lived there for 9 days before two consecutive falls took him back to the hospital for two months. When he got out, his condition had declined to the point that he had to go into a PCH. Sadly, he only lived at the PCH for seven days when he suddenly passed away, but he never stopped talking about wanting to get back to his suite at Shaftesbury Park. I wish we could have talked him into moving there earlier…I think he would have been much happier and healthier and stronger if he had moved there sooner. Thank you to everyone we came into contact with during our short time with Shaftesbury Park.

Raymond F. Currie: It has been a little over five years since my wife, Charlene, and I moved into the Shaftesbury Park Retirement Residence. I had visited six possible residences before we chose Shaftesbury. We have been very pleased with our decision. The staff, the programs and the meals are all very satisfactory. Obviously in five years our health has deteriorated somewhat. Last year Charlene applied to WRHA for home care. We joined the Self/family Managed Care Program approved by WRHA but run by Shaftesbury. It is absolutely first rate. The staff are competent, empathetic and pleasant. Furthermore, Charmaine, the coordinator, is very flexible in providing respite for me. She is willing to adjust the respite according to my needs as long as I stay within the approved hours. Old age presents many challenges. We feel very privileged to have such high quality care in these remaining years of our lives.

Laura S: Thank you for all you do.

Bert Minuk: I would like to thank our Maître D Cynthia very much for helping us celebrate my granddaughter’s 28th birthday yesterday. She made it a very special celebration by setting up an outdoor table for us to have cake and coffee and visit. The staff go the extra mile!

Marina Grinic: Had a few opportunities to visit Shaftesbury Park and the energy is never ending! Great job on creating such a welcoming environment! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Anastasia Dinga: The residents & staff at Shaftesbury Park are simply the best!!! So happy to be part of this community. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Jasmine Georgeson: A beautiful and inviting building to call home!

Jena Holmes: Beautiful building with friendly and caring staff! The amenities and recreation activities offered are second to none!

Gord Boultbee: Brandy, Cheryl and all the staff do a wonderful job of make the residents and families so comfortable and loved. It is a wonderful community.

Kathy Boultbee: Awesome residence with the friendliest staff!!

Janet Parisien: We were fortunate to have a tour of Shaftesbury Park residence and had big plans to move my Mom there but unfortunately she was diagnosed with end stage ovarian cancer but just her happiness of the thought of moving in gave her great pleasure. The amenities and wonderful programs and the friendly greeting of Duchess was a dream.

Dan Munro: Excellent food and service! Highly recommend this lovely community!

Sturgeon Creek II Retirement Residence: what do users think?

Linda Muller: My brother and I visited Sturgeon Creek II kind of in a panic. Our 86 year old Mom had fallen and broken her leg and could not return home.Santana met with us and calmed all of our fears. She met with us, showed us around, told us all the options available. We were desperate for a place and Santana went out of her way to ensure we had a safe option for Mom as soon as she was released from hospital.Mom had to spend a couple nights in the courtesy suite while hers was being painted. Santana ensured, along with other staff, that Mom was safe and comfortable from the moment we wheeled Mom into the building.Mom is now in her suite,She LOVES her new home. She reports the food is great and the people at her table, that Santana personally chose for her, are very nice!Thank you for being there for our family! We hope Mom has many happy years in her new home!!Thank you Santana for continuing to care for my Mom.

mike bell: I like the idea that there is nursing staff on duty and someone is available at night time in case of an emergency or if there is a need - I am a PTSD disabled veteran and often can't sleep and its great to know someone is there to talk too if necessary, thank you, its a great bonus to residency. Mike

pat captain: My mom. Muriel Captain, was a resident at the Sturgeon Creek II from June 2016 until May 2018. She loved her suite, the friends that she made, and the friendly caring staff. Unfortunately mom had a number of strokes, but the care and understanding that she received from the staff and home care workers was exceptional. Our family is very grateful that mom was able to spend her last years in such a wonderful environment. Thank you

George Zinck: and the residence definitely deserves more than 5 stars. The facility offers excellent amenities to make living here a joy; excellent cuisine, the friendliest staff anyone could experience, recreational opportunities if you are a shopper or in house programs if you are not a shopper

Revera Rosewood: what do users think?

Wendy Maes: I have to say, I am so happy that I chose the Rosewood for my mother Shirley. It has been a very difficult year. Many moves from hospital’s after falls and finally needed to place mom into a memory care facility. It has been a very trying year but the staff at the Rosewood made us feel that we mattered and belonged here. They spent took the time to get to know what moms needs were and made us feel like we were part of a family. Mom has transitioned well and seems very happy. Thank you to all the staff at The Rosewood for caring. 🌹🌹🌺🌺🌸🌸Love you all!! 👍🏼😍

Wine Diva: The team at the Rosewood and Waverley are exceptional. They are companionate, caring and very good at their jobs. My Mom recently went into the Rosewood and has had some challenges adjusting. Not only for her, but our family as well. The team has been amazing at supporting our family as well as my Mom on a regular basis. Angie, Lauren, Team Leaders and The Tenant companions are second to none. I cannot express the comfort this gives our family knowing she is safe and in good hands. Thank you for helping us transition and adjust to our new journey.

Nancy Luross: My mother recently moved into the Rosewood. I spent a week visiting in Wpg. The experience was excellent. Luisa, one of the daytime care workers, was completely friendly and helpful answering all my questions and caring for my mother who was also grieving. She made recomendations & suggestions and made a great effort to include my mom. I am looking forward to hearing more about her time there. We are off to a wonderful start!

Patrick Dirks: Very friendly, caring, and professional care for my mother. Meals are top notch and facilities are well kept. Lots of activities.

Revera Portsmouth: what do users think?

Dennis Ayden: My brother Dave was a resident at Revera Portsmouth for about eight years. His experience was excellent with new friendships, many activities, a sense of community and a caring staff.

Kathrine Olmstead: Several years ago, our family made the decision to move our mom into the Portsmouth. It has been a great decision. The residence and the staff are great and very friendly. Case in point, my mother had a recent health scare. Jennifer and the staff were great. They were able to provide us with good advice and even better support. They care very much for all the people living in the Portsmouth. Thanks again for being there for us and providing your support to us.

Tristan Field-Jones: Took the tour with my mom a few weeks ago. Staff are very kind and welcoming. Facilities appear to be in excellent condition.

Christiane Bergeron: Dear Jennifer,I moved here last October and this residence is a blessing. All the staff from you, Jennifer, your assistant, Mike, the front desk employees. Dining room and kitchen staff. A special thanks to Matthew who did such a good job. Each and everyone goes to extra mile to accommodate you and help you no matter what. and with a smile and eager to help you. Everybody is so professional. Now, let s talk about the food, so delicious and well prepared, Like a 5 stars restaurants and I am a foodie.!!My apartment is comfortable and cozy, for the first time since two years I finally find my real home.Thank you Jennifer to decorated my apartment with a feminine touch.Thank for your employees who are doing their job like they really care and love the residents Also everybody who has visited told me that the greetings they received made them feels welcome.I would recommend the Rivera Portsmouth to everybody who are looking for a home who treat you with great respect.ChristianeI call the Portsmouth YOUR KIND OD PEACE!!

Teresa Lee: Residence NOT a Revera Personal Care Home – they are 2 different entities. When Mom needed to leave her rural home and transplant elsewhere it was a bittersweet time. Being in Winnipeg near her two daughters was a bonus but she was leaving friends, a community, and having to “build” a new life at a vulnerable time in her journey. We did due diligence and investigated every option. Suffice to say, we witnessed

Darryl Peacock: Quiet area very friendly folk here.

Scott Dalrymple: Friendly staff. Nice surroundings.

Wesley Hazlitt: Woods, their lifestyle coordinator. We got to see the whole facility and even enjoyed a lunch prepared by their Red Seal Chef. I went with my mother and sister -in - law and Mom loved the place! The food is amazing

Donwood Manor Personal Care Home: what do users think?

don cromwell: Nice people

Peter Zandstra: The staff here are the most caring, genuine, and gracious we've ever seen. During this pandemic, and working thru enormous stresses they have gone far out of their way to help us keep in touch with our dad. I know there is a long wait list to get into a home in Winnipeg, our other parent was sent to Arborg! I can tell you they do everything possible to keep married couples together within what the Mb Gov't rules allow, with or without dementia, and between the Extended and Personal Care Home connected facilities at Donwood. Our mom passed before arriving at the EPH but they were doing everything possible to keep them close and together!

gah Ra: Good stuff I have ever seen i interview by them whith my poor English but they were so kind to me and try to explain more that I can understand the Question .thanks for your kindness

Stephanie Bull: They are so accomodating to my grandparents. One is in assisted living and the other is in the personal care side and the staff do everything they can to arrange safe visits during the pandemic.

Tony Fast: Dedicated staff

The Parkway Retirement Community: what do users think?

Kathy Oelkers-MacDonald: I would highly recommend this lovely retirement Community. All the staff are very attentive and caring, and couldn't be more supportive. They have so many events, that they plan monthly, to celebrate all special occasions! They also offer so many different types of activities and outings, on a weekly basis. The meals are wonderful, and serve by very friendly, well hired staff. The building is very well maintained, and the outdoor space is a lovely area to walk, or just sit and enjoy the great outdoors. This is a excellently run retirement community, and both my parents really enjoyed living in such a warm and caring environment!Thank you to all the caring staff, for ALL that you do!!

Annie Johnston: Beautiful building with excellent services! The food in particular is very impressive. Staff members are kind and compassionate, and they really go above and beyond for the tenants.
