Christine Kim: This club is good for kids who want to pursue competitive swimming. Their coach and the method of training is a way different than community center swimming lesson and really teaching seriously.
Ladya: Our daughter started Wave program at MSSAC few years ago. We found the program to be good but sometimes lacking consistency and communication, especially after covid. This year she joined the White group, and her new coach Stefanie took everything to the next level. She’s an amazing coach, very motivating, highly engaged, great with kids, the communication has also been very good. My daughter started loving swimming again and cannot wait for her next class.

Tuesday & Thursday NO morning swim- only 5pm at night! Most of us older citizens are thinking of bed by then. Don McLean WestAcres has Noon, every day! Monday to Sunday, so our befuddled alzhiemer ready brain does not need to figure out what day it is? Lions is still a great pool and the staff is wonderful.

Oxford P: This is such a lovely pool. It is particularly friendly towards people with young kids, so if you are a family, this is a great place to go. They have swim lessons for parent and tot that really helped my child become comfortable in the water. And the open swim times have a relaxed, laidback vibe. Prices are good. There is lots of space around the pool if you want to set up a lawn chair or something. I only wish this pool was open longer through September! No reason to close so early—although I guess a lot of the employees go to school in the fall.

Jahmelia Allen-Muthra: The format of the parent + tot class is fun and keeps the child engaged. The instructor uses nursery rhymes to help the children become comfortable and familiar with the water. We are enjoying the class so far!
Anu Kotwal: Turtle 1/2 is where my kid started at British Swim School and his progress was incredible. Continuous action, monitoring and feedback by instructors resulted in continuous improvement in technique and stamina for him! The staff and instructors are very attentive and supportive!
My Two Little Stars: This is the best Swimming School. I really liked the way the Trainer is paying attention to my Kid. She is focusing on the improvement area and training on those. The best part part is they are not waiting for the full month to move her to next level. If the trainer feels that she mastered in current level she is recommending for next level. I already suggested to my friends.
Casey Zwicker: Small class sizes so the teachers have more time to focus on each child. I love the life saving skills being taught to both my2 year old and 8 year old alike. Both have progressed and became confident with their swimming since starting British swim school. Teachers are fun and competent and make my kids feel comfortable in the water!
M T: who has been instrumental to my kid's growth as swimmers. After a year in the Barracuda class which focuses on endurance and fine-tuning their swimming strokes, my kids have the confidence to pursue the Bronze Star. Kudos also to the Admin staff for always being easy to deal with and keeping parents informed of pool closures. We will miss the British Swim School family!

Elizabeth Pimentel: What an amazing team teaching our kids how to swim. Not only did my kids learn so much in the six sessions, they absolutely loved the instructors. They took time to get to know them on a personal level while teaching them the basics of swimming. My kids were so happy to go to their lessons each morning, can’t say that about other programs we have been too. I would recommend Matteo and Simone to all my friends and family. We had such a great time and look forward to the next summer session!!

Sarah Li: My kids learned how to swim really fast and without any crying or screaming. They had semi private lessons which means that they were together and had one instructor to themselves. They never complained about going to the lessons and they get really excited to go each time. They love it so much that they don't want to leave after 30 minutes. The reception staff are consistently positive and helpful. A special thank you to my childrens coaches. Coach Tenzin, whose teaching style is nothing short of incredible and whose instructional approach is truly remarkable. My son's swimming has progressed so much with Coach Tenzin. Another big thank you goes to Coach Fahad, who has become my daughter's preferred instructor and she now insists on taking the plunge only with Coach Fahad. He has helped my child improvise so much. I highly recommend Coach Ben and he is a great value add to Aqua tots. Big shout out for coach Ben! My child can’t want to learn from him again.Love flexibility of schedules and even the staff is very accommodative. Make up classes is a great thing to accommodate emergencies. Leanne is very helpful in the staff.

We desperately wanted Tenzin as her coach as she is the best isntructor we have seen. Lindsay Hall: Blake has been going swimming at Aqua-Tots for about 2 years now. We started in the parent and tot classes and now he has been in level 3 for awhile.Our absolute favourite coach is Taylin and we are so excited to see her smiling face each week. Blake's favourite thing to do with her is a back flat and he has become so confident in the water because of her. We were recently at a cottage and he was going to the bottom of the pool and picking up 4 rings at a time, crazy since he's not even 3.5 yet! Taylin is always able to communicate well and let's us know what we should be practicing. She also gives tips on how I can help him when I take him to other pools to ensure he's always progressing.Thank you Taylin for giving Blake such wonderful experiences in the water. J K: Our son has been taking classes since he was born at this Aqua-Tots. He started with the mommy-me classes and is now doing independent classes. Throughout his journey, he has been taught by some wonderful instructors such as Sharon and Raf. He is now doing classes with Andrew. He is fantastic! He makes each class engaging and fun to the point we book random weekly classes just so our son can learn from him. We would recommend Andrew to any parents looking for classes.

Gourab Chakraborty: This pool is okay but could have been better. Trainers are very efficient, great in communication and handling your child with care and teaching them great lessons of swimming. So five start to all the swimming instructors.Infrastructure wise it could have been much better. No heating arrangements in change room. Floors are damn cold. Shower water is also not having a comfortable temperature and you will often found cold water in the pool. At least I found twice/thrice in my past 8 visits. Problematic for kids with cold & cough tedency.However, with a little uplift of infrastructure it could be a great and popular place for your kid to start taking swimming lessons.

Maria Samuel: My family and I have been going to Making Waves for at least 4 years. All instructors and supervisors are professional and kind. I've never had any problems that could not be solved. My kids are more than half way through and we plan to continue their swimming lessons here.

Damien Sanchez: My wife and I had our son at another place but were not pleased with the progress. We brought him to Amanda at iSwim where we finally found the perfect environment for learning! Taryn Kovic: Amanda and her team is exceptional at what they do, my twins have been swimming with them since 11 months and each year we book iSwim again because we have seen so much growth. For our family, water safety is incredibly important, we have pools and a river close to home, my now three year old twins can swim to survive in case of any accident. What Amanda’s company provides is comprehensive life saving skills, this is not taught in a regular swim school at the local community centre, this program is detailed, balanced based on the age of your child and fun! My children will continue to swim and learn from iSwim for years to come because we have seen the growth and confidence in their abilities in the water. She is calm, clear, firm and kind - everything I strive to be as a parent!She had my seven year old jumping in the deep end after only three lessons, when we have done years of swimming lessons where he has refused to put his face in the water. Our 18 month old was wanting to jump in with her siblings! To see her begin to surface on her own and move into a back float was phenomenal.Amanda’s survival-based approach is totally unique to anything I have ever experienced in the past. It makes so much sense, gives me such peace of mind as a parent supervising kids around water, and gave my kids so much confidence. I cannot recommend Amanda enough, the only thing I would change is her availability - I wish we could continue the lessons year round! Taryn Heazel: Amanda is amazing! In less then 8 lessons my daughter learned to swim confidently without a life jacket, dive, front roll and is now a fish to water. My 3 year old son who was afraid of water can not only swim but jumps in the deep end, floats on his back and most importantly now LOVES the water!!! His lessons were only 15 minutes each. I will forever be grateful 🙏
Yazan Meirna: I have two young kids under 4 and wanted them to learn how to swim incase they fell into ours or any ones pool. ISwim was the only place that has the emergency safety program that teaches the younger kids how to survive incase of an emergency in the pool and we have had an amazing experience so far!

Elma Boljak: Our local swim school unfortunately shut its doors during the pandemic. I searched online and was so happy to find Amanda and ISwim Acquatics. My kids were 8 and 5 at the time, could do some swimming but needed more as I wanted them perfectly comfortable in the water. Amanda was excellent with them, recognizing what they need to work on and keeping them progressing. We did classes at her pool as well as ours. Her other swim instructors were also excellent and professional. It has been 2 years now and my kids look forward to their lesson all the time, no more stress or anxiety in the water but they’re becoming great swimmers now, thanks to Amanda and her team. We’ll be back next summer.

Steve Fernandes: We’ve had two kids learn swimming at Buckler over the past 6 years. There are generally 2-6 kids per lifeguard depending on the class. Very gentle and patient staff who really care about their students. My first kid started at 8 months old. Second at 1.5 years old. Love this place.
Michael Colacci: We have been with Buckler for 5 years... the owner Jamie is a fair and trustworthy gentleman.. the manager Nives is such a wonderful person to deal with, her customer service is second to none, she is amazing and on the ball.... the pool manager Anisha is another amazing person to work with and she is also an all star excellent instructor as well.... the whole team at the pool are young responsible teens that I appreciate and trust, they are very attentive, professional and very, VERY SAFETY AWARE. The pool is super clean, the change rooms could use a little face lift and viewing room is just right.... Overall thank you Buckler for your continued support and effort in teaching my child how to swim and be safe in the water. Great job to everyone !
Jamie Rolph: Unfortunately Rita and her 2 friends neglected to mention that Bucklers offered 1-1 private lessons for their child to help get over the fear of the water in a private setting away from group classes. Also they offered to change instructors for the child. They have a long history of finding creative ways to get hesitant swimmers in the pool. However, sometimes some people cannot be satisfied no matter what lengths you go to help them. Children are often afraid of the water during their first few lessons. Parents feeding into to those fears is not the answer. We are sorry that Rita had a bad experience, however Bucklers will continue to teach kids and adults to be successful swimmers as they have for over 50 years.
Shifa Ghansar: the staff at buckler aquatics watch the clock because certain activities and switches from questions to poll for example are timed. My kids have been going here for a long time and I encourage bringing your kids here! Yes, the staff are young but this does not effect their capabilities.

David Pan: Much better at motivating kids than in the community. The community belongs to sheep herding, and the time is short. Personally, I think it is not suitable for children to learn to swim. It is unrealistic for children to learn voluntarily, and even if parents are patient, children cannot obey the teacher like they do.

They helped me on my journey to complete bronze medallion through tips and strategies when they were on their breaks. This pool is where I learned how to swim and it has hands down the best life guards I’ve met in all the city pools.
