Susan Cullis: finally arrived and was set in place, I was often disappointed. Something would be all wrong and I would have to resign myself to “learning to live with it”. My skill sets were obviously not enough in the complex world of home comfort and design.That all changed when I began working with a trained interior designer here in Guelph. She helped me select pieces that fit the room, worked well together, were comfortable and of excellent quality. I still have them today, 20 years later. Since her retirement, I began working with Nour at Mississauga’s Ethan Allen and have been extremely happy with “our” choices. Yet Nour has never been to my home! Instead, she used my photos and short videos and my multiple measuring tapes to assist in making her recommendations. Today, she is helping me furnish my new condominium.To make a long story short: I am amazed to learn of the knowledge that Ethan Allen decorators have when it comes to interior design and decorating. Nour leaves no detail unexamined and has made several successful suggestions that I would not have even considered on my own.Pulling a home’s look together can initially seem like an expensive project, but I find the quality of Ethan Allen’s products uncompromising and their beautiful pieces can be enjoyed for many years. Sana Mobain: The furniture Quality is hands down the best I have seen. We got a new bedroom set and a gorgeous white marble dining table and they are heavy! The delivery men who brought the replaced mattress the other day were very experience and they placed the tabletop on with such ease and technique, goes to show they know their stuff. My only suggestion is when they do send new delivery guys with a lot of heavy furniture, send an extra one.

Rob Ogrodnick: I was looking for a stand to display a heavy object and was having difficulty finding something that was solid, attractive and the right size. During my search I came across the Woodcraft website and noticed that they will build custom furniture. I liked the style of their Ottawa Valley End Table so I asked them to modify the dimensions to the smaller size I needed, without any drawers. At my request they also modified the unit to install wheels. I thought the staff took considerable care to ensure I got the custom built stand I wanted, and I was very pleased with the final product. It’s nice to still be able to buy good quality, solid wood, made in Canada furniture that is built to last a lifetime and longer.

We’ve started the decorating phase of the project with with purchasing furniture for the main family room; sofas, chairs, rug etc. The space is very flow through and open now so choosing the right colors, patterns and furniture and also incorporating some of our existing furniture pieces was important to us. Adam and Nishi were fantastic in helping us design and choose the perfect pieces. We are so happy with their professional service and advice, it saved us countless hours of time.

Richard Brown: We came in to Ashley's to look at lift top coffee tables and were immediately helped by Sandeep who showed all the models that were available and all the different features. We decided to look around at other stores but came back to Ashley's because their quality was so much better. We came back and asked for Sandeep and he came right away and helped us. While we were there we also saw a couch which was very nice and spoke to Sandeep who explained that it was on sale for a very good price so we bought 2 couches. We also bought the extended warranty on parts and fabric. We feel very good about our purchases and will recommend Ashley to our family and friends.

The store manager was farhad was really great and made sure we made a great deal. Recommended for buyers to try their offerings and clearance area too is very affordable compared to others.
