WEJ: Contacted LA Music and talked to Sam a couple weeks ago. Sam was very helpful and after ordering, it only took about a week for my guitar to arrive directly to my home. Did the complete transaction online and it was seamless and I received updates from Sam on the status of the order via phone and email. I received great service for being a first time customer from another province having never met Sam in person or being an LA Music customer.I contacted LA Music after ordering the same guitar from another major music store online and waited over six months to be told that I had to wait longer. I cancelled my order after that runaround. Called Sam and as mentioned got the guitar I wanted in a very short time! Definitely encourage everyone to check out LA Music and talk to Sam when shopping for gear!

When they went to verify they had the item on the website, they realized they were out of stock, but then offered to upgrade me to a similar model that was the next teir up free of charge or some other options.Considering im a first time customer thats pretty wild. Shipping was very quick, and well pacakaged to protect the amp. They also followed up afterwards to ensure i was satisfied with everything. I wish i lived closer to their brick an mortar store because i would be a frequent visitor.

I wanted to get a hummingbird Jim told me about the promotion going on trading in guitars and I was thinking about trading in my fender telecaster he introduced me to Adrian and Brian.I came in the next morning On the weekend and Adrian was helping me out I picked out the hummingbird got some new strings on it and traded in my fender. I’m very happy with customer service I received from Jim, Adrian,Brian very knowledgable and made me comfortable making my own decision but giving great advice at the same time will be coming back👍.

Steve Brock: I got into busking this spring - which has led to many visits to Long and McQuade on Rathburn for new equipment and accessories. I've dealt with several of the people there and they have all been great. I am not super knowledgeable and it would probably be easy to sell me stuff I don't need but I have found just the opposite. At times I have been respectfully talked out of purchase ideas I had that wouldn't do the job. My set-up is working great and I'm having fun! L & M has earned my repeat business - and this little review is the least I can do.

Was a bit surprised at the shipping fees, as for my location and order, I had to pay an extra $50 on top of the amount I had already paid for the completed order, but that's likely an issue with the ordering platform, and not the store itself.Although the packing box said that the contents were fragile, the box was delivered damaged, but again, this was an issue with the delivery service and not the store itself. The package actually got here in record time, with my instrument intact. The price was incredibly reasonable - the most I'd ever seen, which is why I jumped on the deal.All in all, any difficulties I experienced were completely outside the control of the store, and they did their best to make the experience as pleasant as possible.

Willow Tree Montessori: One afternoon, my school phone rang and it was Nikhil. He started telling me about a school program that he was offering to children. The children in my school were listening to my conversation and as I looked around, their eyes lit up. In Montessori, we follow the child. I knew in an instant that I needed to try out Main Street Music! From the first lesson to our last, and finishing our program with an outdoor recital nestled in the heart of Streetsville, our children thrived and a love of music was ignited in each child. We can’t thank you enough, Nikhil for inspiring our children to follow a journey of music. We cannot wait to begin a new music program in September. Any schools, daycares, parents who are looking to introduce music to their child/children, Main Street Music, is their best start.❤️

They are really enjoying their lessons, are happy to go each week, and are excited to practice and share their new learning with us at home! Both Everett and Cairo provide feedback to me each week and give the kids a reasonable amount of practicing that they can both do independently at home. Nikhil was great with scheduling the boys for the same time and making it work for us. Everyone is friendly and the environment is very comfortable and welcoming for young kids. We also love that the kids have the option to explore other instruments as they get older. And that they get to see and hear a variety of instruments while they are there. As a family who really values music, we are thrilled to have found a place where our kids can develop their love and their skills!

Chris Ising: I've purchased a few guitars online over the years but this was my first online order from L.A. Music. They had a great deal on the guitar I was looking for and being in Canada with free shipping made it even better. My order was shipped out the same day, it arrived a few days later very well packaged and in tune. If you're in the market for a guitar, you definitely need to check out their website.
Alper Sungur: I just want to thank this store. I am a first time customer, called by phone out of the blue because the stock of other stores were generally too generic to have the model I was looking at. Asked about the guitar, asked personal opinion of rep who answered over the phone. It's also not a pricey guitar, so that can't be the reason I got great service. I called about the Steinberger GT Pro, even pointed out an item wasn't updated on the site. I expected to feel rushed, get attitude, or defensiveness, and definately not any useful input on the guitar. Instead I got calm straightforward input from Sam. They didn't have the colour in stock but offered the off colour and kept the price the same. I had never called before or built any 'rapport' to get to talk about the guitar briefly or offered a good alternative. Sam made it enjoyable and easy to deal with this store. So, I will be back.
