Vic Tesolin Woodworks: what do users think?

Chris C: As a 53 year old woman, I wanted to learn how to properly use my woodworking tools. I had my first lesson a few weeks back and I loved it. I was terrified of my router and by half way through my lesson, Vic made me feel confident. Vic showed me many ways of doing things in the 'shop' that I just never thought of. I am looking forward to my next lesson. I would rate Vic Tesolin woodworking 10!Chris C.

Paul Ruud: , to use that knife differently, and to aim for a different fit. It turned out that I was making the whole process way more difficult than it needed to be. And voila, my dovetails began to look great.Along the way, Vic has thrown into the conversation all sorts of valuable tidbits that have improved my woodworking and my enjoyment. He has introduced me to better tool choices, even tools that I had not seen. And all of this always with good humor and an open, encouraging manner.Andrea organizes and arranges all things with the same good spirit and thoughtfulness. I don't think she is a woodworker, but she sure understands how to support the activity. To get started, Andrea asked me a few questions about my setup for woodworking online and I mentioned, apologetically, that my shop was a work in progress. She picked up on that and offered that many woodworkers never stop tweaking their shops. I felt that I was dealing with an engaged person. So, bottom line, these guys are the genuine real deal. I highly recommend Vic Tesolin Woodworks.

Vikas Tuli: It’s been a wonderful learning experience with Vic both in the shop and during virtual sessions. He’s very patient and approachable. Vic practices safety first and works within my comfort level.Andrea is the background coordinator who reached out to me to formulate a long term strategy for learning. 👍🏽

Shane Brogan: .

Greg Nuckols: Taking classes with Vic has been tremendously valuable. He is highly skilled and knowledgeable as a woodworker, with teaching abilities to match. Classes are great fun, full of information, and refreshingly free of woodworking dogma. I always come away with new ideas to experiment with, and the project-based classes have provided support for successful completion.

Rob Murray: I really enjoyed Vic’s course on making a dovetail box. Taking the course finally made me tackle hand cut dovetail joints. And he made it look so easy. He has lots of tips throughout the course. The big bonus is you can review at any time the recording of each session to confirm little points as you actually make your box. Questions that arise between sessions are quickly answered via a WhatsApp chat group. Great course, great support.

Michael Bradford: I couldn't have asked for a better experience or outcome from an in-person, tutored build.I had a project in mind for Christmas but wasn't sure if it was practical. Whether the wood I wanted to use was suitable or the timescales feasible. Turns out it was... At least with the help of Vic and Andrea. After a quick meeting to scope the project, I signed up for in-person sessions in Vic's shop, that way I was able to combine instruction with access to tools and equipment I didn't have. Andrea was super-organised in scheduling the sessions and keeping us both moving along. Working with Vic on the build was a great experience. He is an excellent instructor. I learned a lot about the tasks at hand and picked up all kinds of other insights about the craft as we made our way through the build. Highly recommended!

John Plusquellic: Knock your socks off customer experience!!!!If you're looking for top notch woodworking instruction and amazing customer service experience sign up for a class with Vic. The sign up was effortless and Andrea sets the bar for attention to detail and provides a superior personalized experience. Vic and Andrea took the time to personally answer my pre-class questions and ensured I had an exceptional in class experience. You’ll take away far more than what’s listed in the course description. Just outstanding!!!

Jonathan Sick: I've had the fortune of being a VTW customer for about a year now and can't recommend them enough to fellow woodworkers. From their store I've picked up a Tormek, which has changed my life for getting consistently great results from hand tools. I've also got some finishes and Hock blades. Andrea packs everything well and gets it out quickly. Its awesome having a Canadian source for these items. On top of that are the classes. Oh my! Vic has a knack for simplifying things. In his classes, I've built a bow saw and a hand plane, which I didn't think would be possible as a relative beginner. Vic creates a friendly and inviting atmosphere. In the web-based classes, the groups are kept small so I've never had a problem jumping in and asking questions. He covers both hand tool and power woodworking too, which is a cool way to round our your knowledge.

Thomas Minehart: Great classes with an excellent woodworker.

Shawn Heij: Another awesome virtual woodworking class with Vic. I seriously could not ask for a better instructor. Even in the virtual environment, Vic is able to convey his years of experience with clear steps and techniques. Communications and administration were expertly handled by Andrea. Truly a dynamic duo of woodworking education.

Paul Robinson: Great online classes and fast, friendly service when buying from the store!

Peter Marshall: Great service and fast shipping ! I have purchased the Walrus products and Akfix glue .. Great follow up from Andrea and Vic on any questions about the product
