Katey Townshend: I've been living in the neighbourhood for a couple years but only recently started going to Dora's. The food is SO good, and the sandwiches are stuffed full. Great prices + quality ingredients. Their lemonade + brownies are awesome too. I will definitely be popping back in!
F VD: Outstanding food, prices and customer service - you can't ask for more!We originally placed an order for about 30 people and then it kept growing and growing to about 70. Mary-Lee and her team were patient and were able to meet the demands of our event. They delivered the food exactly on time and gave clear directions for us.Our guests LOVED the food. Portions were very generous. We had a ton of leftovers that we were able to give to our friends at Living Rock. No food was wasted. Everyone was talking about the chicken and potatoes. No one forgets a delicious meal!I look forward to working with them in the near future.

Spencer Liu: Absolutely AMAZING, the food was prepared with care, and you can tell the owner takes pride in their product. Great price point for what they're offering unlike some other fancy shops on the street which are just bells and whistles with no substance. Cute and homey shop decorated with family pictures. we need to support neighborhood business like this before gentrification runs them out of business. we will be visiting regularly to make sure places like this keeps their space in this city. If you're shopping around, please give them a try!

caperjim: I'll be honest, I didn't like the food when we went for our trial meal at their Hamilton shop, so I wasn't very excited about the meal leading up to our wedding.We had City Farm do our wedding at Brantview Apple and Cider and, to my surprise, I very much enjoyed the meal. At their home shop I found the potatoes unappetizing and the sauce they had on the meat to not taste very good at all.For the actual wedding day, the food was amazing and I was blown away. I ended up having 3 of their salads because the staff member noticed, unasked, that I was enjoying the salad and noticed that a couple of my guests weren't eating theirs. I kept finishing them and she kept showing up with another one. I didn't hear a word of complaint from our guests about their meal or the service.My world is all about details and extra effort and I was very happy with the attention to detail and the attentiveness of the staff.I'm not a me first kind of guy, and I don't know who made them aware that I was the groom, but they were very conscientious about making sure that my needs were met whether it be a drink refill or whatever else I needed.I would highly recommend.This next bit is only because I'm a bit of a recycling nut, but the one issue I did have is that all items could could have been recycled were just thrown out in the trash. I get it, it's extra work and handling and cost to take the extra step to make sure items are diverted from landfill. The venue itself is rural and I don't think they do much in the way of recycling household items so there were no facilities that I saw to do any recycling. Most people wouldn't care and it didn't take away from my enjoyment of their service but it crossed my mind.

Amanda was professional, knowledgeable, and accessible for any questions we had during from the initial inquiry stages right up to our final planning call.The food and service was amazing. The charcuterie/ antipasto boards were the most amazing creations we have ever seen! We had 180 guests and every steak was cooked to perfection, every plate hot once it reached the table. Our guests have raved to us about the food for the last few weeks and we were quick to recommend City Farm. We also hired them to take care of our bar and our two bartenders were a blast!They were kind enough to accommodate my husbands’ food allergy by creating him his own personal pizza for the late night snack which was a nice touch.Thank you Amanda & Scott for helping us to create such an amazing experience for our guests. Ms YYZ: We ordered from City Farm for our small Christmas gathering. The food was delicious, tasting both homemade and yet definitely elevated. They honoured the traditional flavours, used the best quality ingredients, great portion sizes., and provided it oven ready for a quick reheat. It was a bit more $ than I would normally pay for the homemade Xmas dinner ingredients, but doing the math and with the family time we got back, it was a win IMO, and I will do it again. Also… the vegan meal was really appreciated by our family vegetarian, who found it extremely tasty also. Also… they put out these orders during a blizzard and ice storm, so the commitment was amazing.

Luigi delivered it all right on time with the hot foods in a large thermal container which kept everything piping hot. He explained everything that he brought and the best way to take things out of the thermal container. Everything was delicious and the portions were VERY generous! I was very happy to see the salad was fresh lettuce and not just salad bag lettucewith that taste of preservatives. Everyone went home with dinner for the next night. It was the first time but it definitely won't be the last!

jan griese: Chef Erica’s Lebanese Meza class was extremely entertaining and informative at the same time. I took the option of picking up the ingredients from her the day before. Everything was fresh and well organized and labeled. We received the recipes and a list of utensils that we would need. It was a super fast paced course with tons of tips and lots of laughs. I have some experience cooking in restaurants but I still learned all kinds of knife skills and tips about spices and seasonings. I really enjoyed how while we were waiting for everyone to catch up she entertained us with interesting stories about her family and background. I would highly recommend her classes to both novice and cooks with some experience!
Patty Thachuk: Lebanese Online Cooking Class was amazing. Thanks to Chef Erica we can now cook authentic Lebanese food. This was our first class with Erica and she is very personable and patient. We had to hustle to get through all the menu items but still had time for a little beverage while following along. Erica was very approachable when the class was finished as we unfortunately lost our power for the last 20 minutes of the class but completed our meal with Erica’s help.
Jenn Kavanagh: Chef Erica confidently led us through a whirlwind 2 hour online cooking class, where we whipped up many incredible dishes that were super flavourful and delicious! I appreciated the clear communication leading up to the class, the organization of the ingredients and recipes, and of course, having an amazing feast at the end of it all. I highly recommend any experience that Blend Catering has to offer!

Greta Ladanyi: I've had the pleasure of taking 3 of Erica's virtual cooking classes so far: An Indian Affair, Oh My Thai and Brunch Elevated! Erica does an amazing job of teaching you about the cuisine you are cooking as well as about different skills in the kitchen. Whether you're more experienced in the kitchen, or a newbie, like me, you will learn something new during these classes. Since taking her classes I now know how to properly hold a knife and chop, albeit slowly. Erica's passion for cooking and food comes out through every part of her class, from the moment she sends you the ingredients list and all throughout the class: from the prep, to the cooking and the plating. I can't wait to take her classes in person and highly recommend others take them as well.

Annamaria Ladanyi: I received two Blend Catering virtual cooking classes for my birthday this year. They were the Indian Affair and Oh My Thai. The classes were both so much fun!Erica is a great person with such an amazing personality, and she puts all that into her work with you over the two hour cooking class! She talks so passionately about all the ingredients and teaches you about all the small things that go into making a beautiful and delicious dish. The classes are not just for beginners. I already had experience with cooking and really enjoy it, and learning about new foods/techniques etc. She made the whole experience really informative and fun! The food came out amazing for both of the classes, these will definitely be recipes I will cook again!I'm excited to take more of her classes in the future, and hopefully one day in person!

Lindsey Mrav: We’ve worked with Erica multiple times throughout the last few years and every experience has been beyond exceptional. Erica has catered events at our venue and the quality of her food and service is top notch. We've also recently hired Erica to do a virtual cooking class for our 250 members and it was a huge success. She designed a delicious 3-course menu with a full shopping list, and hosted a virtual cooking class so that our members could follow along at home. The cooking class was incredible, and our participants loved it. Erica was equally entertaining and informative, and her infectious personality and passion for food is one of a kind!

Having a small wedding during covid meant adjustments had to be made and I believe that she went above and beyond to make it seem as though it was prepared right then for us. The meals were dropped off each day. Every container was clearly labelled, serving dishes provided and labeled and reheating/serving instructions provided. I almost felt like I was an amazing cook! 😂I tried everything she prepared and loved it all. I am trying to figure out another event to have her cater it but in the meantime the next best thing will be to try the cooking classes! They took our event from a backyard gathering to a luxurious 5 star affair.Our theme was tiki / Luau for our engagement party and the team went out of their way to make a CUSTOM menu for my fiancé and I and our 150 guests.The food was to die for. I have an aunt and uncle who have travelled the world eating at the best restaurants each country has and they told me the crab cakes were the best they’ve ever had. There was not a crumb left.Fig & Lemon nailed every aspect of the event. From concept to clean up. The food was delivered hot and on time and the few left overs there was stayed hot for almost 24 hours.We as a family will be hiring Fig & Lemon for all future events.

Fig and Lemon were the exception to this. They had amazing communication through the chaos of our pandemic wedding planning process from day one. They were also great at adapting on the fly as we had to change the time and location of our wedding reception. Day of, the servers were all very friendly and helpful and our guests all commented on this afterwards. The food is customized as per my ask and has always been great in taste. No complains ever.My favorite remains their shami kababs, chicken pulao and biryani and kofta curry. They took charge of the day and made it a memorable one for us ! They even helped move chairs when the rain started so people wouldn't have to sit on wet chairs. Its the little things that go a long way and these guys nailed it.
Hamilton ConservationFoundation: We hired Ramped Up Catering for our annual donor recognition event and were super happy with their service! Everyone arrived early and made sure the event ran smoothly. The food was great, the menu was tailored to our needs and our guests were very impressed. Ramped Up was sensitive to the fact that we are environmental charity and helped ensure the event had the lowest carbon footprint possible.The fee was reasonable and they understood that as a charity we have to be very aware of our costs. They even donated a portion of their fee back to us to help us out! We're very happy and we'll certainly invite them to quote on future events.

Christian Kuziora: My wife and I used Anna's catering for our wedding as we were referred to them by my moms hairdresser, and we were blown away by the quality of food and service provided. Staff was on site almost all day getting set up and ready, and come event time Anna had a couple of employees on site to help clean tables and serve at the food stations. The food we chose was a mix of eastern european and north american and it was all done to perfection, not a single hungry person at the event after dinner was done. Everyone we dealt with from planning to the event were incredibly kind, professional and willing to help in any ways possible. We would highly recommend Anna's Catering for any event and can assure you that you will get top quality for your dollar. 5 stars!

Steve Norris: Chef Kat provided an excellent meal experience with superb service for a special 65th birthday celebration.Chef Kat customized the menu to reflect dietary restrictions and preferences. She made herself available at the very last minute for our romantic anniversary dinner. The 5 courses Italian theme meal brought us right back to Tuscany where we got married. The meal was exquisite. Service impeccable. She is without a doubt the best Chef we have ever used. We will use Chef Kat again for sure!

From start to finish her meals were savory and delicious. You can tell she put time and effort into her menu and food. The ingredients were extremely fresh and everything eas cooked to perfection. Kat was great to deal with from the start with arranging the meal, to cooking the meal with fresh ingredients and explaining and presenting every dish. Chef Kat prepared a separate menu to cater to some of the younger palates at home.
