European Textiles - Kids, Quilting & Fashion: what do users think?

Diane Mathieson: It' s always hard finding the right fabric for a project and even more so doing it online, but this store made it so much easier. Their site is so user friendly, and easy to navigate. They had an amazing selection of colours and textures. I found a beautiful piece of fabric, and they delivered it very fast. I will definitely shop on their site again!

Audrey Lane: lovely little place, very informed staff, beautiful fabrics. 10/10 recommend this place

Donna Elliott: Wonderful fabric shop, good quality fabric and reasonably priced.

Diane Wood: Variety and awesome staff .

Aliya Turner: Best selection of Kona quilting solids this side of the peninsula. Very friendly staff.

Laura Sutton: Found everything I needed. Sales person was very helpful when I was purchasing faux fur.

Kai Montgomery: . Fortunately, they were so knowledgable and patient at European Textiles Fashion and they helped me decide on a fabric and the amount I would need. But they didn't have enough in store! They said they would order some in and call once they received it. Luckily within a week they got the fabric in!They also helped me choose and measure out fabric for two veils: finger-tip and cathedral length. This store is amazing and I love my wedding dress. It turned out perfectly and I am so grateful for their help in the designing process.

Ted B: Recommended by friends. Friendly and helpful staff. Fair pricing..excellent selection

Jim Smith: Tons of materials and helpful staff.

Karen H: I needed to cover my dining room chairs and went to European textiles for fabric. On entering the store I was impressed about how clean and organized it was. I was greeted and directed to fabrics suitable for my project. I bought a small piece of the recommended fabric to try at home.It was perfect. On returning the same gentleman helped me make a decision on a coordinating fabric. The chairs are done and I'm so happy with the result! I would highly recommend this store on Ottawa street.

Beth Tilbury: looking for fabric for two specific projects. At the home decor store, Aliki was super-helpful without being pushy, and helped us find exactly what I needed for cushions and chair covers. Then I visited the quilting store and encountered the same helpful, friendly staff. Great stores, great selection, friendly service. Oh how I wish they were in Ottawa instead of on Ottawa Street!

Needle Emporium: what do users think?

Chiquita Terita: Incredibly well-stocked yarn shop in a charming location. Julie is very helpful and friendly, and the store is full of her beautiful knits that showcase the yarns she stocks. Great website too. My first of many visits!

Tracy Roketta: I loved actually being able to go in to the store - I don't care that a mask was required. Julie was so helpful and being able to touch the wool before buying was such a thrill.

Kate: Pleasant yarn shop with incredible kind and helpful staff. Stocked with loads of sample knits, modern yarn companies - both commercial and a few indie dyers. This store is a true LYS. Excellent spot to poke around and gather inspiration. Yarn, notions and accessories galore!! What truly makes this spot special is how friendly the staff are. Thanks for a great experience!Parking is ample in back and building is accessible - although some areas might be a tight squeeze.

Pat Lawson: I’m so lucky, this is absolutely one of the very best in North America IMHO and its my local. You’d be hard pressed to find another YS with a wider selection. Staff are highly passionate for fibre, broadly experienced and eager to please. Exploring here never fails to reveal something irresistible.

Kathi Wilson: Amazing variety of beautiful yarns and needles! Guaranteed to cause a yarn coma.

Kyla Leslie: Staff were incredibly kind and friendly - as a younger/beginner knitter, I’ve been met with lukewarm or negative welcomes to many knitting shops. This was not the case at Needle Emporium! They were very friendly and made me feel welcomed and comfortable asking questions.Store had plenty of stock with a variety of colours and weights; many unique brands I haven’t seen elsewhere.Highly recommend Needle Emporium for all your knitting needs!

Debra Charnuski (CalgaryDeb): Loved the selection - a whole lotta yarnie goodness packed into one building. You WILL not be able to resist. Wonderful selection of indie dyers! Service was excellent - they helped me pick out yarn for a couple of patterns. Will definitely visit again.

Chelsea W: Julie has a great eye for colour and provides excellent customer service!

Michelle B: I have been a customer of the Needle Emporium for over 25 years. They always have gorgeous yarns to make the latest trends and traditional favourites. Even during the COVID changes to retailing, I've received fabulous, personalized service. I highly recommend the Needle Emporium as your source for creative inspiration and quality yarns.

Lynda Skewes: Ordered the wrong size of knitting needles and noticed before leaving the parking lot. There was no hassle and my needles were exchanged without any problem. Now I can start my project. 😀

Sally Braun-Jackson: They have an incredible collection of yarns and colors. It's almost overwhelming. I could spend days here and break my bank, too.

Sarah Lampson: Wonderful selection of high quality wool, excellent customer service

Cheryl Barnes: Great place!
