They also love her a lot.My dog is always nervous and usually doesn't take treats from the vet but she took treats from doctor Kelly with her medicine! That's a big deal!The prices are also reasonable and they work in conjunction with the Hamilton emergency vet so whenever something comes up we have help.

Joseph Watkins: Took my old dog Shia LaWoof here and my present rescue Tiffany here for all her checkups and vaccinations as she’s a rat terrier mix from Iran and nothing but the best service they even put their patients names on the exam room doors dr ciggaar was amazing even referred us to a trainer she knew that might be better priced. All tests in Heart worm and fecal flotation was about $200 less than what I was expecting would definitely recommend the blue cross team - Joe, John, and Tiffany big thanks

Sarah Gerencser: Best vet in the city! No matter how big or small your concerns are about your pet they guide you through with patience and understanding. They treat my dog like a princess when she goes in, she actually likes going to the vet! They of course cost money, but no more than any other reputable clinics. What you get here is kindness and support. Every single person working here is knowledgeable and wonderful, but Dr. Erica and Amy are my dog's favourites. Thank you guys for everything you do!

L B: I’m here more often than I’d like to be but every time I visit, I have a positive experience. We’ve had appointments with a few different vets and although they sometimes have differing opinions from each other, every one we’ve spoken to seems like they genuinely care and really try to work with us to find the best solution for our pups. They’re always transparent with pricing during the visit so you’re not shocked and appalled when you go to pay. The staff working the front desk are super friendly and accommodating and have gone out of their way to squeeze me in last minute during desperate times. They’re also open until 10!! Unheard of.

I loved it then, and I love it now under the care of Dr. Michael Mogavero, DVM. Dr. Michael’s staff is truly wonderful and is always eager to assist in any way they can. Always sincerely interested in our animal's health and well-being, and always try to fit us in when urgent needs arise. Please accept our sincere thanks for first caring for our small zoo as a collective over the years. Dr. Michael Mogavero wears his heart on his sleeve, and he is in an industry where he sees sick animals mostly day in and day out. He has taken a veterinary oath, and people who say he has no compassion and is financially driven are very wrong. Dr. Michael Mogavero has to give advice based on scientific knowledge and skills we do not possess in the best interest of your pet, not you! This may be hard for some people; unfortunately, you can’t have love without pain and suffering, and Dr. Michael Mogavero, you are amazing at what you do. Never stop being who you are—the voice of those who cannot speak for themselves. Some thing many people may not know unless you've taken the time to get to know Dr. Michael is that he has given years and thousands of hours of pro bono services working with our very own community, Hamilton SPCA. This is a true vet who lives up to the very oath he took many years ago, and I am proud to say he is my family's vet! I now personally live five hours away, and once a year I will pack up my three large breed dogs and travel down to Hamilton to return to Mohawk Animal Clinic because I have yet to find another vet that cares as much for my pets health as I do. I highly recommend Dr. Michael and his amazing staff at Mohawk Animal Clinic.

He is not our chocolate labs usual vet but we wanted to see someone urgently while visiting Hamilton.He was straight up and to the point. Many people need comfort and sugar coating but we appreciated him getting straight to the facts and how to proceed. He truly is there for the animals. He even diagnosed an issue that had been previously overlooked by past vets.We were able to have a good laugh, and he even sent us with some tiramisu to go! If I lived in the area I would not think twice about making Mohawk Animal Clinic our regular vet!Thanks a million.

Both Dr M and Dr K have gone above and beyond for my family. Longer hours have come in handy as Dr M was available at a time that we would have ended up at an after hours clinic with many other vets. Even though the outcome wasn't what we hoped for, Dr M and the staff helped us greatly and showed compassion for us and our pup. All the staff very friendly, professional and informative. We took our dog to the clinic today December 2nd for his surgery and everything went well. Post op instructions given very clearly. Throughout the whole experience, we felt our dog was in good hands and trusted Dr. Kier and his team. Clinic is very clean. Excellent prices as well. We wish we could have found this clinic sooner! 5 stars+!!!

Alanna B: Recently moved to town and experienced our first major vet emergency on a Friday night. My dog is a “problem patient” that is extremely vet-phobic and challenging to sedate. The team here really went above and beyond for us throughout the weekend and were kind, supportive, and professional in every possible way; they set expectations and scope of what they could offer early and updated on any changes frequently. They were patient and creative in finding ways to work with my notoriously vet-phobic dog, and achieved much more with her procedurally than I would have expected in this scenario. They were able to provide much more thorough examination, diagnosis, and supportive care than they had originally anticipated/promised, and I was sent home with extra care supplies and reading material on diagnostics. They took the time and care to ensure I understood everything happening, and everything I needed to care for and monitor until next follow up. Super helpful to be ready and armed to update my family vet and move on to next steps for surgery prep first thing Monday morning. I’m confident we’ll have all the continued after hours support we will need from HEVC as we prep for and eventually recover from urgent surgery, and I’m so grateful to know they’re nearby and always available. Thanks to every member of staff for making a rough weekend a little easier!

Crystal Hill: Since February I have unfortunately seen myself and each of my geriatric dogs in need of emergency medical care and in both cases we were treated with the utmost kindness and compassion. We lost our old golden boy in February, in the middle of the night due to a cardiac crisis and we were treated with nothing but love. We received the kindest card with signatures from all of the staff and one of the techs made us a special pawprint.On the next occasion a few weeks ago, our old girl was hospitalized over the weekend and with lots of great care and sweet updates she pulled through. She is gaining strength with physio and we are so happy to get more time with her. Literally amazing people.
