Burlington Synchronized Swimming Club: what do users think?

Jean Tong: My daughter is in her fourth year swimming for the Burlington Synchronized Swimming Club. She has not only grown as a swimmer, but as an athlete. The skills she has gained in goalsetting, problem solving, healthy living and mindfulness are amazing. The club has a real focus on the whole athlete!

Lrh Lrh: My daughter has been swimming with Burlington Synchronized Swimming Club for six years. Not only this is an excellent sports, she has learned so much about perseverance, teamwork, work ethic and more. These are all valuable lessons for life. She has made friends along the way and they have been supporting each other all this time. I am so happy BSSC is part of her life and has been helping her become a strong young woman. Yes there are volunteer work required for parents, but nobody should just take without giving. Actually parents have made friends too since our girls have been swimming together for so long.

Tanis Dal Zotto: We have had the best experience with BSSC. Our daughter started with the recreational program and is now a competitive athlete. She has learned about teamwork, sportsmanship, how to work hard, how to deal with disappointment and success. She has made friends and it keeps her active and healthy!

Monique Garon: I have been involved with BSSC for 11 years and have loved every second of it. The programs were fun and challenging and taught me teamwork, organization, and time management. The coaching staff have been great and supportive throughout my years and have consistently provided opportunities for leadership and development to all their athletes. I would highly recommend BSSC BEST as a great place to learn, grow, and develop as an athlete and as a person!

Rachel Hisey: I swam for Burlington synchro for around 10 years and I had an amazing experience. My teammates became my sisters and the coaches were some of my greatest role models. We work hard and we have fun!

Celia MacKenzie: I became involved with BSSC this year after 13 years with another club. The coaches, families, and executive are all such lovely people. The swimmers are positive, inclusive and excited to learn and work hard. I am very grateful to be a part of this club. If you're looking for a fun, safe, encouraging atmosphere for your child/athlete, BSSC is definitely the place for you. I look forward to many more years here and to one day enroll my daughter/son in their programming! Three cheers for the B!!

Elly Van Fleet: My daughter has been in their rec program for three years now and she loves the programming. Always excited to go and she loves her instructor. Her coach is fun and encouraging!

Jodie Near: , but she has also become well-rounded young woman. At 12-years-old, she now trains more than 16 hours a week on a high performance competitive team and has developed exceptional organizational, time management, and problem solving skills. The more she trains, the more she succeeds at school.Burlington Synchro encourages all athletes to give back to their community. My daughter has personally raised more than $4,000 for Breast Cancer Research through the club's Burning Bright campaign. All sports have risks for injury, and synchro is no different. Safety is a priority to the club, with all competitive athletes undergoing mandatory baseline concussion testing each year prior to the start of the season. The club is run by a volunteer board of directors and the athletes train with paid coaches and subject matter experts.

Jimmy Thompson Memorial Pool: what do users think?

The Family: Amazing pool. Also has grrat rec and youth programs. Including summer camps. Highly recommended pool.

Milica T.: Excellent pool and everything is clean and tidy, the staff is outstanding. The parking lot is smaller, but there is a place to park in the surrounding streets.

Michelle Scott: Sin went here for a school swim meet. He loves coming here to swim, will update with a couple pics next time son goes for a swim meet

Mary: The pool is very well kept and clean, and staff are amazing. I swim there every weekday. One of the best parts, the pool is always at the right temperature. This is a well staffed pool with friendly swimmers.EDIT: This is my all time favourite pool in Hamilton. I wish I could swim in the early morning here around 6 or 630. I find it difficult to leave work mid day, swim and come back. I would gladly swim here every day if they changed their hours. I cannot day enough good things about this pool and staff.

Keandell Clyde Arcenal Pineda: I like that this pool is about 9 feet deep. Well taken care of , has the right water temperature. Just missing a dive board and it’s perfect. 👍🏼

Blue Orchid: The pool was clean and warm, with no real deep end but a great pool for kid's not so much for swimming laps a really nice new pool .

Vikas Sood: No universal change rooms

Tree Shop (Tree): I do the Water fit class 3 x a week...the only complaint I have is the Water fit instructor on Mondays has no energy for teaching this class....she walks through everything on the slow motion button...and skips things....I really don't know why she is teaching this class when she acts like she doesn't want to be there.....the instructor who is there on Wednesday and Friday is awesome....she makes you want to work it.... thanks for her on Wednesday and Thursday....she is totally awesome...

Alex Prince: The lifeguards here are very good. One of them asked me why I was walking around the pool deck and I explained I was doing my cool down after swimming. Evidently, I am the only person in Hamilton who does this.

Justine Melowsky: Take my kiddo there for swimming lessons. Lifeguards are good, though seem to sometimes lack communication. Location looks amazing compared to what it was like when I went there as a kid. Universal Changeroom sometimes smells like septic/sewer but it is otherwise always clean and safe.

Berna Aslan: Beautiful accesable pool.Staff is very friendly.

J.B. Butler: One of the best rec centres in Hamilton

Abdiel Gonzalez: You can spend a good time in the pool, the great thing is that the pool is covered, so there is no problem with the weather. the cost is really low

Ashley Pereira: Fav pool in Hamilton.

Michelle Pugliese: Great time with my kids...shame about the long line up for the kids pool

Idowu Omoloja: Everyone was super friendly

Tim K: Great community rec centre

Danica Djukic: This pool recreation centre is great , clean & lots of fun for everyone of all aged. Come on down soon & get your summer passes soon. See you there !

Annamaria Elizabeth Bicego: My grandson had biggest smile..watching him learn how to swim.. employees polite and friendly

Remy Pravato: It's an older facility but very well maintained, the pool is smaller/shallower than most. The change rooms are large with plenty of showers and washrooms, there are only male and female change rooms at this facility. The staff are really friendly and helpful, overall it's a very good facility.

Patsy Mae Trobridge: Said open, couldn't get in

Sherif alshaer: I love it 😀

Sir Allan MacNab Recreation Centre: what do users think?

Jon W: Great fun

Jeremy Jakob: Several change cubicles in the universal change room are quite spacious and great for families. The lack of multiple air dryers in the universal like the gendered washrooms is unfortunate. The lockers operate on coins and can't use your own locks.

Alex Prince: A good size pool. Using it in the daytime is different from using it in the nighttime 😊

Ejaz Butt: There may be more number of activities are available but all I know they have good swimming pool to teach the children, how to swim

Tom Eagles: Wonderful pool. Kids pool even has variable floor depth. Kids like it because it's nice and warm.

John Murray: Nice facility and clean

Tracy Deacon: Perfect spot to take my toddler. He had a great time in the smaller shallow pool and can't wait to go back. Facilities were clean, front desk staff very friendly.

Jere: Staff was great. Tried to go to family badminton but there were too many adult singles and pairs there. All the kids were sitting on the sideline while the adults played. So much for family badminton. Apparently there's an adult slot after this so people would come to the family time slot to play two slots in a row. I would not recommend this place for family badminton. Staff was sympathetic. I guess their hands are kind of tied.

Michael Fletcher: Open gym for the kids is good. Basketballs available.

John Povalic: This is how it should be.. very clean! Great staff, two awesome pools. Love it

Mary Edwards: Staff at entrance are very friendly. Lifeguards in pool area focused on their job! Thanks!!!

Goldfish Swim School - Burlington ONT: what do users think?

angel charette: We had tried other swimming lessons and saw our son get less comfortable in the pool due to large classes and feeling unsafe. Love the quick progress we are seeing here. A well thought out methodology and small classes have brought great results. The tropical vibe is fun too!

Pooja Kamat: Gold fish is an amazing place for your kids to learn swimming. My kids truly enjoy the sessions and the instructors are very helpful. What I like best is the email they share on the child’s progress.

Sophie Heijselaar: We have been very pleased having weekly classes here. We tried the jumpstart classes a few years ago but it was too short, too frequent. Our kids have learnt and gotten much more comfortable in the water from their weekly classes.

Rimpy Kanwar: My kids love the swim lessons over there. Friendly staff.

Lynne Townsend: has tremendous patience with her and doesn’t force her to do anything she isn’t ready for yet! I love that there isn’t any pressure to move up to the next level and kids can do it at THERE OWN TIME

Andrea Palmieri: Been taking my son since he was 2. He is 4 now. Swims like a Goldfish now. A+

Kunal Shroff: It's a positive space, with encouraging and hard working staff.

Susan Chatland: A great swim school with the best instructors!

Sava Rakas: I am beyond thrilled with the entire set up and skills Goldfish Swim School brings to both of my children. Their staff to student ratio and constant eyes and support ensure the kids are set up for success. LOVE!

Ryan Spencer: Love taking my daughter to this facility! Very friendly staff, well maintained, very clean, and Ms.Rachel is so much fun when running her classes!

Amanda Williamson: Very welcoming environment for the children.

brent Baker: Very convenient and ongoing so no waiting by the phone trying to get into lessons like buying concert tickets.

Dundas Community Pool: what do users think?

Vasco Nunes: Spacious and pleasant place. It responds well to the needs of the surrounding community.

Stephanie V: Occasional swimmer at 18+ open and length. Friendly staff and courteous patrons. Comfortable pool temperature, only salt water pool in Hamilton. It sucks that the lockers cost $0.25 to use and change rooms could use upgrading.

JoAnn Zomer: Local swimming pool - where everyone knows your name!

Shalana Switzer: Great staff here. The pool is nice. I've been for both lane swim and water fit. Can be busy! The change room could use an update but I've seen worse.

James Lawrence: Love this place!

El Paco Rico: Awesome staff who go above and beyond thanks Tillia....

Linda Johnson: The water temperature in the ladies showers is too hot. Especially for older skin and young children. Reported my concerns to the City of Hamilton recreational department to no avail.

Sharon Cahill: The front line people, when you enter, are so professional and kind. If u can't figure something out with schedule or booking on line, they all go above and beyond to help you work it out.The waterfit instructor on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday is the best I have worked with in 15 years. She works the whole body. Her music is perfect, and the 45 minutes is over before you know it..The lifeguards that work at poolside during lengths sessions are top shelf. They keep a close eye on all participants, which is no easy task. They make great suggestions to make your session successful. Tks

Taylor Hayter: Love this place

Dave Peter: Friendly and efficient staff. Great place to swim.

Theo Davids: The-change rooms - lockers and pool are very clean and well maintainedlifeguards are very professional and friendly

Alina Radu: Staff is very nice with kids and kids love them.

S Q: My daughter has her swim classes here on Saturdays. She is the youngest little one in her class and really can’t do much as she’s 5 months but the instructor is lovely. We’ve dunked my baby girl in the water a few times and she’s definitely comfortable in there! Clean change rooms / friendly staff.

Monika Kormann: . He is super nice, outgoing, upbeat and positive. The exact personality you want from a lifeguard before you start a long swim workout! I MUST also include, teamplayer! There was an incident at the pool where the lifeguards had to act promptly and sanitize both the pool grounds and pool itself. They all worked together as a team to get things cleaned and cleared immediately. I also noticed that Zach took extra precaution and more time in cleaning the changerooms.I applaud the staff for being so attentive, kind and creating a safe environment for the public. Woo!

Chris Coughler: My kid loves the playground it’s very nice and modern and a variety of things for kids to play with
