Alexander Turlov: This is one of the best dedicated badminton court centers in the area. Floors and lighting are professional level, facilities are minimal, but functional, average pricing. Location is quite popular and individual booking is not easy as most popular times are taken by training and organized badminton groups. Add on services include racket sales and stringing, apparel and shoes sales, food snacks and sports drinks.

Alex Prince: The lifeguards here are very good. One of them asked me why I was walking around the pool deck and I explained I was doing my cool down after swimming. Evidently, I am the only person in Hamilton who does this.

Mohawk College and the Department of Athletics and Recreation offers two state-of-the-art facilities to support your athletics, wellness, and recreation needs. These facilities include the David Braley Athletic and Recreation Centre (DBARC) and the Stoney Creek Fitness Centre.
Located on the Fennell Campus in the R-wing, the DBARC houses three gymnasiums, a fitness centre, a multi-purpose studio, two outdoor basketball courts, multiple socialization areas, meeting/office spaces, and Booster Juice. The DBARC is Mohawk’s second LEED Gold Certified Building, designed to meet green building targets that promotes pedestrian mobility and a culture of sustainability at Mohawk College. S Q: My daughter has her swim classes here on Saturdays. She is the youngest little one in her class and really can’t do much as she’s 5 months but the instructor is lovely. We’ve dunked my baby girl in the water a few times and she’s definitely comfortable in there! Clean change rooms / friendly staff.

Meaghan Edwards: Been several years but went for swimming lessons as a little girl in the mid-late 1980s-early 1990s. Later went for school swims and the occasional swim with a friend. May return someday! The surrounding area is nice for dog walking.
