Enacia Munn: Mcquesten urban farm is our local farm which helps to feed our residents. During covid19 the building is closed. However, on Saturday mornings there is an outside market where you can get great, fresh produce for very low prices. In full disclosure, I work as a volunteer for the mcquesten bistro as cook at the mcquesten community centre. Also affiliated with Niwasa.

Tips for Trips: GREAT place to have your wedding! There is plants of space - open air too. There is room for extra vendors like a photo booth. The stuff are very helpful and nice. Lots of places to take photos. There is a room to get ready too. It is quite large and fit the bride and bridesmaids. Contact them for a private view before you book with another place.

Kelly Business: I have used Julia Ross for my insurance needs over 20 years now. I stayed with them when they were known as State Farm Insurance even though they were more expensive than anyone else. This is because the people who work there treat you like you are someone, not a number. They actually care about you and your needs and will do everything they can to accomplish this. There was a day when I was invited to come in and go over my insurance to ensure that I had exactly what I needed. Julia spent an hour with me, past her home time, so that I understood everything and was able to make an informed decision on my insurance policy. Because of this service, my children and everyone else I talk to have switch to them, and they will also tell you how wonderful they are.I now own a business and have given them the insurance for this as well. When I first started my business they sat with me again and went over all my needs to get me the best price possible.If it wasn't for Julia and her wonderful staff I would probably be paying a lot more and not getting what I need.
