Upon payment of the deposit, they booked us a time for installation which was surprisingly soon - we've come to expect wait times of months for even fairly simple tasks.They gave us a list of homework to make sure they could get it done in a day - requirements for the path to the site, parking availability, etc, which was all very reasonable and easily done. The company phoned us back to double check on an unusual customization we made on the shed to make sure that was what we wanted, and sure enough, it was a mistake on our part - they fixed the order immediately.On the day, Matt and Marco showed up, and the whole thing was up and done in a few hours! Matt and Marco clearly cared about their work, they made sure everything was done well and solidly, while effortlessly working together. They were extremely pleasant and friendly, and when they were done you'd never know they had been except for the much nicer shed!We're delighted by the experience and won't hesitate to recommend them.

The shed is exactly as described and exactly as I had configured it using their online tool.If you go to their site and configure a shed, prepare to be impressed by the options available to you. Every detail I could imagine had a solution available to me.Professional: Communication from the company was very quick, and very clear. Everything from payment instructions to instructions to help the builders access your site were extremely well written and easy to follow. Prior to the install date, I was asked to complete a lengthy questionnaire detailing where they would park, how they would access the site, where they would source power for their tools, where the shed would be built and how it would face. It was easy to complete, and very thorough. As a result, on the install day, everything proceeded very very quickly.The team arrived on schedule. A quick walk through confirmed what I'd written in the questionnaire. They got to work at 7:45am and were done by about 9:15am. Shed in a day? More like Shed-in-a-few-hours. With their almost limitless size options and ability to customize, I was able to get exactly what I was looking for. They installed the shed in a couple hours and left it and the area around it clean and ready to use.The price difference from one of the plastic sheds from the big box stores is minimal and you get exactly what you want. You can install yourself if you want to save money.

Fred: The shed arrived on time, and was put right where I wanted it. The parts were as per the order. Due to various delays on my end, we didn't get started until 12:45. Two men assembled it by 6pm, except finish painting. . It is well-designed and attractive. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Martin S: Found Jaime by my G/F spotting the ad on his truck while driving. After getting a consultation done his prices were inline with other quotes we received however he was able to complete a 320 sq foot deck much sooner than others. Jaime also did all the drawings to get the permit done through Oakville and the only delay was because of Town of Oakville being behind with permits. He also helped me redo my 4ft footings last minute as a different contractor didn't do them to code. Jaime's work was above my expectations and finished of the deck with a beautiful border and stairs. Jaime takes his time and doesn't rush through the project like other contractors and has great attention to detail not to mention he did a great job handling our OCD. I would highly recommend Dickson Outdoor Carpentry and will use him again for other projects that come up.

Fred Miller: We were looking at building a backyard office at our new home to get my daughter some space for her small craft business. After reviewing the information on the web site, we completed a contact form and Red Shed were happy to meet with us to discuss our unique needs. We ordered a 12x20 shed that would be completed so it could be used for four seasons, would have countertops and drawers, and a special cubby for cutting boards. We asked to have a floor, the walls insulated, electrical, and HVAC. The team at Red Shed helped us through the process, and after a bit of back and forth, we confirmed our order.The process did take a long time as construction materials started to get hard to obtain with the pandemic and the challenges with remote deliveries. But, when the time came to arrange a delivery window, we were ready.The delivery process was meticulous and the installers made sure we were absolutely satisfied with the location of the building. They then confirmed that all doors and windows worked as any slight twist during the moving could stop a door from opening.We did have a slight installation miss - a missed piece of trim - but Red Shed assured us the trim would be fixed as soon as they can.Overall, I am very pleased with what has been delivered and would definitely recommend them to others that need a backyard office.Services:Custom shed design,Storage shed design building,Shed delivery to installation sites,Shed installation

J Adeyemi: Brodie was the most professional contractor I have worked with. I have had bad experiences and even lost money with other contractors who never completed work, did poor work or just plain scammed me! Do yourself a favor and don't think the "cheapest" contractor will save you anything, and go for someone who has a good reputation. He has completed my deck, and I will be using him for basement renovations and further work to my backyard because he is very reliable and responsible. These projects are a lot of money so make sure you go with someone who stands behind their work and cares about the results and respects meeting your expectations as a customer.A few positive qualities:-excellent communication-shows up on time and when he says he will and works hard each day to get the job done-cleans up after himself and doesn't leave a mess-respectful and professional attitude-works collaboratively with the home owners to meet their vision of the project outcome-his background includes formal education and experience in his trade and the work reflects this with high quality workmanship. Kelli-Lee Howie: We are thrilled with the multi-level deck that Brodie built for us. He obviously cared about his finished product. This was apparent in his attention to details and meticulous craftsmanship. He was willing to work with us when we told him what we wanted as well as offering his own suggestions and improvement ideas. 2020 was a crazy year to build a deck due to lumber shortages everywhere, but Brodie had the foresight to purchase what he could in advance of the project to ensure we had quality lumber for our deck. He even took the extra time to hand pick each piece of cedar. He started right on schedule, communicated when he would be there, and finished on schedule despite a few rainy days. He left our property neat and tidy at the end of each day. Our contract with him was kept and any changes were discussed and approved by us. There were no surprises. But Brodie definitely steps it up a notch, himself being a trained licensed carpenter has taken his skills to a different level . The quality and the level of his detail have surpassed many of craftsmen out there.
