Neala Ciancone: I posted in a FB group looking for the best Dive bar in Hamilton and got some great suggestions. To be clear, I don’t say Dive maliciously, I’ve worked them. I love them. I truly prefer them to the fancy/trendy bars. But you have to find the right one. And the bar was set pretty high last night with Ed’s. The wings/poutine deal was awesome. The fries were CRISPY! I’ve seriously never had a poutine that wasn’t a soggy mess before. And the wings were perfect. It’s a small menu but the man knows how to cook.But the best part, even better than the food and reasonably priced booze was the staff. The owner Scott and bartender Sarah were super friendly without being overbearing, and you could tell they truly cared about every customer. Ed’s is a hidden gem and Scott deserves to see that place packed.

Jeanette Pattison: Only 4 stars on atmosphere only because it was very chilly. Otherwise, a great place for snacks or dinner. They have a very extensive menu so you'll have no problem finding something that you like. Our server was very good and very friendly. I would go back. Their potato skins were delicious! Thanks for making our experience a great one!

Sumith Pasupulati: and have always been pleased with the friendly service and quality of the food. All the sauces I've tried on the wings were great, and any sides I've gotten like mozza sticks and garlic bread were a great add-on too. The parking situation seems fine

K. G. Da Costa: A terrific bar, The Argyle unites both the decor of the private library of some privileged family estate, AND a nonetheless warmly welcoming, casual, neighborhood-hangout vibe. The staff is accommodating, the drinks are great & the patrons are friendly. There is unfortunately no hot pub fare, but interestingly, customers may bring along or have delivered their own food...!

Mana Adamu: Great cocktails and ambiance! Beautiful bar with quality drinks. Indoor golf, and pretty sure you can bring your own food. There are also board games to play while chilling in the bar.
