Holly LaRue: My partner and I are frequent goers to the corcktown. We love grabbing a quick beer or sometimes we stick around for the entertainment but either way, we always get food. The food, the service, the people, atmosphere and entertainment are absolutely fantastic.But- my only complaint is the Irish Stew. We’ve both purchased the stew at different times and there’s way too much mashed potato. It resembles more of a shepherds wipe than a stew. The flavours are great! It’s tastes great… it’s just not a stew. Sara B: Friendly, inviting, intimate space. The bartender is very gracious. Loves his job and it shows. Lots of regulars, who like to strike up conversations. The crowd and the music were more geared to the over 40 crowd but there are some younger people who like to party with the multigenerational crowd. A Canadian style Pub- if I liked closer it would be one of my regular haunts !

Shalyn Oswald: The huge upside to this place is the music; it's always fire and fun to dance to, and it's relatively clean and nice looking inside. It's just really annoying to exist there. First you go through security where I never know if I'm going to get the nice and engaging frisker or the one who likes to take her time in every crevasse. Coat check is mandatory, which I wouldn't mind if it was included with the entry price but it just seems so extra. Hard to know if you could sit anywhere, which means I'm either standing or dancing the entire time and I'm not about that.. sometimes I need to sit and relax for a minute where I am not stared at by people. The bartenders are awesome and accommodating, though. They deal with a lot so they have my respect. Overall I feel safe at this place as a single woman so if that's where you're coming from, you'll have fun 😊

The owner graciously allowed my friend and I to eat here though. This place is BEAUTIFUL!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Richard for having us in that night. The food was made quickly and it was delicious!! We felt like v.i.p. that night. This has become my new favourite place. I have nothing bad at all to say about this place. The music was great and not too loud or offensive. Spotless and positive atmosphere. A friendly welcoming owner. I couldn't have asked for a more better experience. If you are looking for great food and a high class place to dine at this is hands down the place to go!!!

Keith Kindree (KeithK): Every time I visit Ward IV, I have a good experience. Last night, I went to hear a Jazz Singer with guitar accompanist. We had dinner there while listening to nice, easy jazz. The pasta and meatballs were very good. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful. I can't wait to go back, especially in the summer where there are back & front patios.

Brent Nyznyk: I moved to Hamilton a few months ago and was looking for a an English style pub. One that served cold beer, crisps and had EPL on the TV's. I found this pub and now call it my local. This is not a fancy bar. If you are looking for cold beer, soccer and good conversations, this is the pub for you. For big matches they will open up early. They do have the cheapest beer I have found in Hamilton with a proper 20 Oz pint of Guinness or Tenants at 8 bucks or domestic at 7 bucks. Worth checking out.

Erica Nichol: All of the bartenders and the owner are super friendly, as far as I'm concerned the only bar in town. If you like friends, fun and karaoke nights this is the spot. They have lots of board games and the occasional comedy night.Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible, there is a ramp to the door.
