Dean Cherry: Plenty of food options for everybody. Vegetarian options for my girlfriend, lots of interesting options for all kinds of eaters. Mocktails, Cocktails and Beer options make it a friendly for everybody kind of place. Most definitely will be back to try more.Vegetarian options: Girlfriend loved the Garlic and Cheese naan. Tried the Samosa Chaat Tacos too and enjoyed the flavor.
judi kochanka: One lad doesn't drink amd we asked waiter to suggest a non alcoholic drink. She commented that she had a menu of those drinks and would bring it out. The menu was never presented and instead, she brought out a non alcoholic beer

Candace M.: One of the best Bistros I have ever been too !! The atmosphere was very classy and elegant. The food was incredible and perfectly cooked! Alexis Petrovic: We were celebrating with family of 10 for 2 birthdays. The team here were fantastic from the time of booking the reservation to the end of the night! Bal’s cocktails were delicious and our server Alexander/Caton was amazing! Very engaging and attentive. The chef did an excellent job serving all of our meals together and the food was amazing! Luis Miguel Guzmán: I don't remember the name of our server, but she was awesome, explained everything so good and was really friendly. The place is beautiful, also they have live music and the food is really good, I tried the lobster with steak and omg, it was the first time I tried lobster and it was worth it. Jeremy Martin: Just got home after a lovely date night at Brothers Grimm Bistro. We had never been there and wanted to find a new place tonight. We literally googled "best upscale restaurant-vibe in Hamilton", and Brothers Grimm came up. So glad we took the chance and tried it. The atmosphere in there in amazing and cosy. We were greeted by a lovely hostess, and then Alexander looked after us for the evening. Alexander is a superstar server who helped make our date-night so special, The food was fantastic - we filled up on appetizers, wine, dessert & a freshly prepared coffee. We will 100% go back and bring friends next time. Awesome restaurant that I would recommend to anyone wanting a special night out!!!

DamnItNanet: We’re still here! Even when they were short staffed tonight, the service with literally 2 people was amazing. They had a big group party, a smaller group and another couple besides us and they did amazing! I’m a well controlled Type 2 diabetic and they customized my cocktails so I can enjoy them without the sugar spike later. The steak frites and spicy beef nachos that my fiancé and I shared were delicious! Cooked and spiced perfectly! Perry Hudgens: Absolutely impressed my wife and I! It was a crowded evening and we still got our food and drinks in a timely manner! The food was perfect, hands down the flavor combos were on point! And the drinks are way above expectation! The bartender puts an incredible amount of detail into his work and it shows in the flavor! Even made my wife's drinks sugar free which means the world to us both! Highly recommend and will be returning in the future!
Arts Lover: We came on Canada Day as our plans had fallen through due to weather and wanted to try a new restaurant, hence our visit tonight. The food was excellent, much better than I expected. The house salad was really delicious, a unique blend of fruit and veggies, perhaps one of my favourite salads I have tasted. I had the elk burger and truffle fries which were outstanding. The portions were generous. The ambiance is more sports bar than intimate dining which was a bit disappointing but the quality of food and service made up for that. Highly recommend.
Chaos World 60: Tried Boar for the first time here it was fantastic, they also have Elk to try too. Their specials of the day are fantastic. Had a great server too. The only downside to the food was they put spicy sauce on almost everything so if you have low tolerance to spice make sure to ask that they don't put it on. The place was cozy and had comfortable chairs. However, there was no AC. It was incredibly hot in the restaurant, very uncomfortable. Also note the cheesecake is not actually NY style it's more along the lines of Japanese cheesecake.

I mentioned to her that it was my partner’s birthday and she didn’t forget to put a candle on our dessert, following by a couple cocktails for us on the house. Sam Samida: Hip style bar on James. Small place but cozy and stylish. Great dishes. Nice drinks. Tequila were fraction of what we paid last night but harsh. Still we went through many of them. Hannah Schneider: Brux is always stellar, but it was extra special last night knowing that it might be the last time we dine there! Great service as always from Dylan and Eamonn. Food and drinks were great. The standouts were the broccoli appetizer and an exceptionally good negroni. Lots of good memories at this place, you will be missed!

Amanda Stewart Reiser: This has been on my list for SO long and I’m happy we finally got to try it. It’s a great spot on Locke in an old building, candlelit ambience and comfy booths. The food was amazing - pretzels, schnitzel and chocolate torte were all delicious. Solid beer selection and cocktail list as well. A little pricey but the meal was fantastic so you truly get what you pay for.
Olivia Adam: My first time coming here for my birthday dinner and I must say, everything about this place is exceptional. If I were put on death row, I would choose their pork belly as my final meal. Our server was lovely, the food was beyond amazing, and the whole atmosphere really tied in the experience. Left my boyfriend and I speechless by the end of our night. Phenomenal.
Tyler McGillivray: Really nice patio. The staff was very friendly and service was great. Service was quick and did not have to wait long for our drinks or food. The food was fantastic. One of the best chicken schnitzels dinners I have had. My wife had the seared trout and it looked almost too perfect to eat. The drink menu was quite extensive and had a nice selection. Highly recommend to check this restaurant out.

Martina B: Today my family and I went in for dinner to celebrate my 37th birthday. I’ve been to Bean Bar several times and it’s actually so pleasant. Not packed. Atmosphere is very chill and you don’t have to yell over the music. It’s actually quite zen. We got served by Matt ,who was so sweet and so pleasant. He was just the perfect amount of waiter. Just enough small talk and very attentive. Great customer service ,which is very hard to find lately. Thank you Matt. Hope to be served by you again on our next visit.
Priscilla Wong: Excellent service! Our server was friendly and accommodating, definitely highlighted the experience. Prices are a bit high, but you’re paying for good food here!! Nachos are like none you’ve had before, trust me they’re great. Pickled jalapeño and all the best things on one platter. Turkey burger was a bit dry but it had all the right flavours, even the salad accompanying it was amazing. One of the best beef burgers you can get too, such a great meal! Our food took a long time to get to our table though, about an hour of wait.

Ios chips are a delicious appetizer, and you can get them as both eggplant and zucchini. Friendly service and a large selection of wines as well. Desserts are from Ios bakery, so quite good as well but a bit marked up as expected. Ios one of my favorite spots on the mountain and a go-to for a treat yourself night.Parking: Shares lot with many other businesses but more at side of restaurant

When the server came with a bottle, he poured 4 glasses for the table even though nobody wanted it except for my one friend.Other than that, great experience and I'll definitely be returning

Leslie Alvarez: Excellent hidden gem in Hamilton! My boyfriend and I were in town for a concert and decided to grab a bite at this restaurant,We got the house burger and the roaster chicken, the best food I’ve had in a long time! We will drive from Mississauga again just to eat there it’s really good!! Definitely worth to check out if you’re in town.
