Tina Mantopoulos: Hamilton School of Music has provided my daughter of many years of enjoyment. In her early years she participated in a program called Kindermusik which provided an introductory into the music world. It was playful and educational. I absolutely loved it and so did she. She than moved onto vocal lessons. She’s been doing that for a few years now. She also is taking piano lessons. Also has been doing that for a few years. Brad Holder: Bailey Dalton; the teacher and founder of this academy, puts her heart and soul into each and every student. I've taken music lessons at 2 different places in the past and not once have I seen a teacher put so much effort and dedication into the progress of their students. She has a unique outline and path for each of her students which is fantastic in allowing them to learn their craft. But, beyond that she also provides them with opportunities to perform in front of live audiences outside of your average recital. Many of her students have had the opportunity to work with talent agencies due to the tutelage and advice she provides.

I learned more than just music, I learned to make friends, work in groups and perform in public. I have now enrolled my child and she loves it. It has been great to see how the school has grown and evolved. I love they have encoprorated theory from very early on. They offer workshops through the year with teachers from other schools. There is a wonderful sense of community there, with many events to help foster this. I look forward to starting my second child in a few years.

We have been members for 5 years with my children starting in the ECE program at 3yrs of age and then moving onto learn Piano. We have found all the staff to be professional, efficient, sincere and down right nice. We were able to observe lessons before choosing a teacher that worked for us. Our relationship with our Piano teachers is fantastic. Her qualifications are top notch and her ability to teach my children and coach me as a Suzuki parent have been superb. The facilities are perfect for the purpose including a large concert room with 2 grand piano's. And teaching rooms with 2 piano's to practice duets and train the ear and timing. Gilbert Gauvin: My grand daughter is a second generation violin student at the Hamilton Suzuki School of music. Her mother, my daughter, also studied violin at the Hamilton Suzuki School of Music. It was not a casual decision that we decided that our grand daughter would study violin at the HSSM.When our daughter started violin at the HSSM when she was five years old she was a timid little girl who had no confidence and had a hard time socializing with other people. We had heard that the Suzuki method was more than just music training, it was teaching the child to be a better person.Our daughter was with Suzuki until she went to university except for the four years that we lived abroad in the US and in China. During those years, we saw our daugther grow into a strong and confident young woman as well as being a fine violinist, she was also active in the Hamilton Youth orchestra. Our daugther is now a medical professional working with cancer patients every day.We believe that the HSSM will have the same positive effect on our grand daughter. In the short time that she has been studying the violin we have already seen a positive difference in her behaviour which we attribute to the HSSM. In addition, we have been very pleased in the progress that she has made in learing to play the violin.The HSSM provides opportunities for children to play in groups and plenty of opportunities to perform. In the short time that my grand daughter has been at the school she has already had performed three times.I have studied music since I was child and I am still learning every day. When I was a child there was no Suzuki method, I wish that had been. I look forward to the day that my grand daugther's children will study music at the HSSM!
