Adam M: Very serene Park, nice for walking and taking a break from the city. There are lots of trails to walk on and the view of the water is serene with lots of swans and ducks. I would have given 5 stats but I don't like that you have to pay to park and also that it is so close to the highway.

Renee Hill: great spot for a 5km run

Sheryll Johnson: Beautiful trails, well placed benches. Lots of birds to seeVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Natalia Bogdan (Talia): Great little spot for a picnic or a walk. There are lots of benches and picnic tables in the area and it's not too busy. Decent amount of parking in the parking lot or along the road. You do need to pay for parking and it's $3/hour. The parking meter only takes credit or you can pay with an app. It's more out of the way than the rest of the RBG properties so a great little spot if you want somewhere quiet. There's also a small dock just by the parking lot if you want to use a kayak or canoe. There's lots of info boards to tell you about the wildlife and plants that are being protected here. There is also a bus that runs to this property too.

Sean B: Great placePLEASE DON'T FEED THE BIRDS OR OTHER ANIMALS!!

Dawn Stowell: . Could easily hear birdcall. Saw plenty of black damsels and I must of relished about a 1/4 cup of wild, fresh black berries. Very restorative. Easy access from public transit. Easy hikes but with 4/10 inclines in some places. Off on side trail from Monarch trail, tuck your pant legs into your socks and don't let any of your shirt or jacket edges drag along the close pressing foliage and you'll be fine. Do a tick inspection and shower when you get home and you'll be fine. Hardly any msoquitoes. My secret get away from now on.

Bo Valerio: Great place for a hike .great for fauna and flora .

David Marcus: The closest you can get to a track less wilderness, within walking distance of a city bus stop.

Dhanyasri Maddiboina: Beautiful little hike, very few people around

Kelly N: What a great hiking area! Beautiful ravines, a creek, and a few memorial benches to sit on and enjoy the beauty of nature. I saw this awesome and curious fungus on a rotting log. Super cool!

Ed Pecyna: No barriers. Nice little pocket of nature in the city. Walk by a steep valley with interesting species of trees. We looped around a trail for about an hour.

Sebastian Irazuzta: . The front field is a 4 year old tallgrass prairie which hosts a variety of unique prairie plant species. This is a great place to see birds, bees and many other creatures. This is the largest tallgrass prairie habitat in Hamilton. Trails are narrow, with some stumbling hazards. Poison ivy and ticks are present. Closed toe shoes and long pants recommended.

Ryan Racine: Beautiful trails and lots of birds

Clayton Roenspiess: Great trails, unreal views

judi kochanka: Part of the escarpment trail which we access via another trail. It holds many wonderful memories where u would take a horse drawn wagon along the trail to have pancakes and maple syrup. The buildings and picnic tables are still accessible but sadly the RBG stopped this event many years ago. It is a lovely flat trail, shaded with trees and a breeze off the escarpment. This is one of my happy places to hike, reflect and be 'still.'

Amanda Press: Great, forested trail along the escarpment. Offers some nice views through the trees looking over western Hamilton. Metered parking at the official lot bit it's a close walk to the nearby wallfall.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait …

Penny Rivera: .The Bruce Trail which goes to Tobermory starts at Hamilton and is part of the Ray Lowes Trail of the RBG which leads to the Borer's Falls. You have to climb steep slopes and wooden stairs to reach the Falls.Next to the Falls is the Rock Sanctuary which provides information on the escarpment. The Armstrong Trail is another steep trail which is an exhibit of the geological formations of the escarpment. We wanted to go down to look for the disappearing brook but it rained really hard. The Berry Tract has wild berry trees planted along the trail.

It will likely take up to an hour to get to the peak from Cascades Park, depending on your pace and any stops at the view points. Definitely worth coming here, as the observation point overlooks Dundas.

Muhammad Rizwan: A very beautiful and scenic place. We had barbecue picnic with our friends and families and it was fantastic. Ample space for parking and plenty of space for everyone to station their equipment. The lake is beautiful and clean. You can bring your kayaks to sail over waters. Shallow depth waters allows the kids to play in water up to a fair distance from the shores. Washrooms were close by and clean. There is an snack bar adjacent to get snacks and ice cream. Also a shelter big enough to accommodate plenty of people in case of rain. There is decent fees for entry into the park. Overall the experience was pleasant. This is a place worth visiting again and again.

Tabletop Warrior Tuber: A decent area for a day picnic. Water is kinda murky but otherwise its ok if you are canoeing or not swimming.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Michael Reales: A 40 min to an hour drive from Mississauga, depending on the traffic. Easily located beside the Hiway. They got a large area for picnic, corporate meeting, family gathering, etc. The convenient store needs a make-over. Toilets are clean. The lake is nice and the kids will enjoy it. There is a shared trail for hiking and mountain bike. Mountain bike trail is ok, good for enjoying the place, but it will make you sweat as well. Helmets are needed when going on the MTB trail. Parking is accessible nearby but can be a chore to go back and forth. Cul-de-sac is a bit small and could get crowded when you need to unload and reload your stuff.

Stan Snopek: A nice park with multiple group gathering sites and a beach on the lake. Could use better walking trails around the lake.

Omogbolahan Okunuga: A place to be for the lovers of natureVisited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

Sam Alman: Very nice place for the family.
