Karen Sheahan: My daughter had a triathlon practice meet and this shop helped us get her seized seat out and bought a new one. We have to get the stem extended now that she grew and this will definitely be the place we go to! Love this place we couldn’t say enough great things. Used bikes and bikes for unbelievable prices definitely a go to if you have kids that are growing.

Charlie Hannah: I support community bike shops as I feel they’re services are important for communities and individuals to empower themselves in a variety of ways. However the vibe in here was pretty macho. Senior mechanic seemed annoyed I was asking basic questions about how to troubleshoot some issues that needed some specialized tools. I find it unfortunately common in bike shops that when I display my knowledge of mechanics as a women to be somehow threatening or…..something to male mechanics. Stop assuming women don’t know what they are doing, it’s hella annoying. Otherwise great staff and sweet set up. But the egos, yikes.
Daniel Tavares: MUST VISIT SHOP!!! Did you get a flat tire? Are your gears slipping when you peddle? Do you love your bike but wish you had a different set of pedals or that your handle bars had a different setup? Then go to new hope. I had a great experience fixing up my bike that needed a tuneup and I wanted some changes for my comfort when riding. I also am not a millionaire and have a tight budget. So I made some time and took my bike to their shop which offers bike repair and tuneup services, however I love learning and love to tinker so I went the route of their DYI option. With their tips and tricks along the way, used/new parts availability, access to all sorts of tools etc, I was able to make my old bike into my new “green beast”! It’s great to learn about what your riding so if something does happen when your out on a trail or in the middle of no where, then you have some knowledge from doing the tune ups and repairs along with their teams help.Great people and community programs so it’s definitely a must to visit!

P. Mullins: Love the program. Bought my bike here very cheap a few years ago and the bike is fantastic!!! My friends see it all over town and know I’m around when they see it. Another friend tried to buy it off me, because my bike is so cool now. Obviously I said no. Haha. It was great seeing young people employed at this store. I’ve never had anything go wrong with the bike, I’ve not even needed new tires. I bought some lights from the dollar store and it was all good to go. I would come back anytime and I highly recommend it.

Lee Smith: I recently picked up my 1960's bike from Anthony. My bike needed a full tune up as it was not rideable at all. The bike would wobble and the gears didn't work. Anthony fixed the gears, the tires and polished the chrome up for me. It's like a brand new bike. He even had me sit on the bike to ensure the seat was set for me. They didn't charge me much at all for parts, as we needed to replace the tube, tires were cracked as well. I paid about 100$ and walked away with a brand new bike. I cant wait to ride it this summer. It looks super retro and nice now. I just need a wicker basket and I'm good to go. Go see Anthony he'll take care of you. - Sarah

Located on the Fennell Campus in the R-wing, the DBARC houses three gymnasiums, a fitness centre, a multi-purpose studio, two outdoor basketball courts, multiple socialization areas, meeting/office spaces, and Booster Juice. The DBARC is Mohawk’s second LEED Gold Certified Building, designed to meet green building targets that promotes pedestrian mobility and a culture of sustainability at Mohawk College. Eddie Enriquez: This location is for those people who want to lift. 2 floors of variety of equipment some older equipment but overall well kept and stocked. Depending on when you go it can get pretty busy but the location has a vast parking lot and a friendly staff who are always quite helpful and play good beats. Also located by a rail trail entrance if you want to do outdoor cardio.

Ana Chist: Staff are nice and knowledgeable.Has a lot of up-to-date equipment, the only thing I don't like is how the machines are close together.Wish the gym wasn't in the basement because it feels kinda like a dungeon lol .A nice track with different speeds posted.Also you have to pay a $1 for a towel, which I never had to do at my the other YMCA that I went to.Even still I will definitely go again.

It's them that sold me to sign up.Here and there needs some cosmetic TLC...only one machine was out of order amongst dozens and dozens of other machines.The space was clean and organized although the bank of lockers I was using were rusty...the rust rubbed off onto my beige coat when I went to hang it... nothing like a fresh coat of paint to spruce up the place!Overall a great space for excercises and all types of amenities. A full pool, childcare, racket ball, ping pong and on and on!
Phillip P: Used to be a former employee and went back for a visit. Marco at the front desk recognized me and welcomed me even though it has been 10+ years. Genevieve was also working. She is a highly competent senior manager so it was nice to see her again and still running the facility. The building was clean and all the staff was friendly and attentive. Only critical point was the hot tub was closed and not working during my visit which hopefully will be fixed for the members.

Stef: that was received from Sam at All the Right Gears. I stumbled upon this bike shop when I was new to the sport and knew right away this was the place to go. More recently preparing for my Ironman race Sam took me in and was able to repair my bike as if it were his own! He goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. I cannot thank him more for getting me to the finish line. I've found as a female in this sport it can often be difficult to find a bike shop that will take me seriously. You won't have a problem here. Again, a huge thank you to Sam. Don't hesitate to drop by to check them out- you won't want to go anywhere else.

David Rees64: I was looking for a specific XC MTB that Specialized had on their website, called around to all the local stores with no avail, called Specialized and they said none available at this time in Canada. Called Sam at All the Right Gears and he was able to locate one in my size with the equipment I was looking for, Sam came through big time. Was also looking for a specific brand of tires for my new ride and Sam ordered it and it arrived a week later. If they don't have what you need in the store, they can order it for you. Bicycle stores can't stock everything thats out there, but they can get it for you, and thats exactly what All the Right Gears can do for you. Excellent customer service with a huge knowledge of cycling. Thanks Sam.

Christine DeMerchant: I bought an E-bike from Hamilton Electric Bikes. I called ahead and they prepared some suggestions that fitted my preferences. They are located very conveniently near the QEW so it's easy to get to. They are by a hill and a cluster of quiet streets so it's easy to try the bikes. They are knowledgeable and actually listen to you, and can answer questions intelligently. They keep quite a large number of bikes in the shop so you can try several models. I bought a bike and have been using it for a few weeks. I am completely satisfied and would recommend them with no reservation whatsoever.

I went in about 3 weeks ago looking for batting gloves. They did not have my size, but recommended I purchase them online in-store, and they would be delivered to the store, which would save me $8 in shipping to my house. Fine, sounds good. Received an email later that week saying they had arrived. Went to the store the next day, and they had no record of me or my item - please come back on Monday and speak to the manager. Fine, sounds good. I call on Monday, still have no record of me, and they tell me based on my email, it was not delivered to the store, but to their PO box. They'll call me back. Surprisingly, they never called back. I called repeatedly, and nobody returned my calls. I showed up again today, and they tell me they still have no record of it, but it's probably at the post office in Carlisle, good luck. I asked if they could get it for me, and the answer was no, good luck. I will not be returning, and will happily tell my baseball team, and anyone else in my league that Sport Chek should be avoided.

Jerry Bilous: Great place! Awesome staff. Matt was very helpful and answered all my questions with expertise and genuine attention. This place rocks for anyone outfitting a home gym or even small boutique gyms. They deal with a variety of brands like LifeFitness and Sole, treadmills, functional trainers, barbells, bumper and cast iron plates, punching bags, racks, squat cages and much more. 2 levels worth of workout machines and benches. Prices are good, lots of parking. A must visit for your new-year resolution.
