McQuesten Urban Farm: what do users think?

Fred Hrischedson: Volunteer with the kids in the farming area! Great, friendly staff!

Monique Berry: It's a happen’n place full of life and activity.

Amanda McKay: Great Community garden!

cherry lapierre: Love having a green space in my neighborhood

shirrie jackson: Ok

Bee Mckay: Very good, we need more of these around but the hours for selling dont match my needs.

brooke tardif: Great service, great veggies

Lisa Skipper: Great Saturday market

Enacia Munn: Mcquesten urban farm is our local farm which helps to feed our residents. During covid19 the building is closed. However, on Saturday mornings there is an outside market where you can get great, fresh produce for very low prices. In full disclosure, I work as a volunteer for the mcquesten bistro as cook at the mcquesten community centre. Also affiliated with Niwasa.

Bridget Carter: a great place to find friends

Lizzydizzy303 Upper: It's an amazing place to get help if you need it , with great staff...

Tracy Boivin: Love the variety of vegetables .. very afoardable.. and a great group of people 😀

Trevor K.: The most community focused bunch of people I've met. I'm sick but I can't wait to help out down there. I've been waiting for two yrs to get well enough. This place exemplifies what community is all about. There is so much knowledge to be gleaned from growing your own food. And really - it's liberating. The world is facing many challenges and it is places like this and people like this that will save our precious planet. And along the way there are so many individual opportunities to make an impact. I encourage everyone to benefit from the delicious produce but I really hope people behind to understand the crisis the world faces with this worsening food shortage.

Harper's Garden Centre: what do users think?

Zalak Hirpara: I always visit this place and there is always different options available

Phil Star905 الطبخ، التدريب، الموسيقى. (Phil Star): Amazing place, very kind staff, highly recommend.

Lucy: The only place around with a good selection of water/pond plants.

Alexander Natsioks: Great selection of plants. A bit on pricey side.

Ron J: Have shopped there a few times and was impressed with the large variety and service

Liam Brown: , we’ve done backyard landscaping with their fantastic limestone, and their tree selection is varied and eclectic considering their relatively small footprint. Their staff is knowledgeable, the cafe is a fun perk for donuts for the kids, or an espresso for the parents. At Christmas it’s especially nice that they’ve got a fire always burning. For those who care there’s lots of selfie opportunities too. I wish they had vegetables and herbs for the garden but their perennials and annuals keep us coming back regardless. I do miss buckwheat

Bethany Newell: Staff is great. Always get healthy plants. Selection is not typical. You will always find something you don't see anywhere else.

Jenna: Helpful staff and a nice selection of native plants. They label their native plants making them easy to find.

Jessica Hornung: I love going to Harpers. They have tons of beautiful pots for all of the plants I get from there. They have so many types of indoor and outdoor plants. It is my favourite garden centre.

Ted Seymour: Reasonable, but too early for pond fish

Adrian Hart: Beautiful plants year round. All of their tropicals are so happy and vibrant. You can tell that the folks here tend to them with great care.

fernando guazo: It is a small park but with plenty of attractions to practice sports, it has an outdoor pool, a basketball court, and a playground.

Mystic Muse: Playground: They have outdoor exercise equipment

Toni Shuart: Good park...diamonds a bit odd in out Field with the hill in right field. Grass and infield are well maintained. More parking would be ideal, and charging stations for ebikes. Shade is okay until a certain point then sun city in out Field lol. Overall good park well maintained and good location

S Ramesh: , basketball and stretching workouts can be done here. Lot of greenery in Summer for a family walk. Softball play area with place for audience to watch. The Tennis courts are free and based on first come basis and can be reserved only by going in person and placing the Racquet in queue. There is a Tennis Practice Wall just beside the court. The Park is great place to take your pet for a walk on leash and enjoy with family.Playground: Tennis Court

Amazing, knowledgeable and friendly staff on site available for group tours, willing to share and answer the questions. Definitely recommend for children 10+ to learn and explore the very early Canadian heritage.
