Mike Hall: I was given a Simonize pressure washer. It comes with a useless coil spring hose that you are constantly fighting with while trying to use the machine. I wanted to convert it over to a standard pressure washer hose and wand. I was at Princess Auto and collected most of the parts I needed to do 90% of the job. The only catch was that I needed some way to connect the quick disconnect coupler to the pressure line coming from the washer.Apparently Simonize uses an odd ball thread on the pressure line that you can't find in the usual large hardware stores. I went to see Matt at Industrial Hose and Hydraulics. Matt was able to figure out the thread pattern and then he was able offer a single fitting that was able to connect the parts together and the cost was very reasonable.Some industrial suppliers don’t like dealing with non-industrial customers but Matt was up for the challenge and I was given the same attention and courtesy as a commercial account spending hundreds of dollars. I was pleased with being able to get the pressure washer running again at a reasonable cost. Give them a try, I don’t think you will be disappointed. I will be recommending them to my friends.

We had told you that the way that you wished to proceed was a very temporary fix and not a permanent solution and that is how you wished to proceed. As for holding your cylinder hostage, there is no way we can turn around repairs in 1 day. We do thank you for bringing to light the negative outcome when you just try to put a band aide on rather than a proper repair. If you would like to bring your cylinders back and proceed with the repairs that were recommended to you at the time, we would gladly take another look for you.
