Janet Matteson: Amazing staff, so genuinely caring and loving, and they all have beautiful golden hearts. Unfortunately good shepherd doesn’t take as much time picking their senior staff and management/DOC is very underwhelming. They’re rude, pushy, and unfortunately the reason a lot of staff walked out the door. I hope they can redeem themselves.

jennie lukas: My grandmother was recently in Emmanuel House Hospice as she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I cannot even put into words how amazing the staff at the house were. They went above and beyond in everything they did. If my Nanny was having a hard time dealing with the fact that she was going to die they would come in and sit with her and hug her and just listen to her speak about her fears. Everyone here was equally as amazing from the director to the cleaners and everyone in between.. I will be forever grateful for all of you.
Emily MacKenzie: she had terminal cancer. Her husband, myself and her family kept her at home and looked after her as long as we could, but in the end we did have her brought to Emmanual House where she spent her last two days. It was very peaceful and our family appreciated the compassionate care given to us by Hillari and our daughters nurse Victoria. Thank You for helping us when we had to say goodbye to our beautiful daughter. I would absolutely recommend Emmanual House.
Carole Partridge: I can’t think of a more beautiful place with the most compassionate staff ever. Just walking in the front door gives you sense of calmness, caring and love.
Janice: My mom was at Emmanuel House for a month, I clearly remember after her first night there she said to me " the nurses and everyone here are angels." The compassion and care that was given to my Mom was excellent, I could not have asked for better care for her. Special thanks to Hilary and the staff on Dec 21st where Mom had a visit meeting her Great Grandson for the first time. This could not have been done without the extra care that day to make it special, which is was. Our family is truly grateful in how Emmanuel House followed through with Mom's wishes throughout her stay. You all have a special place in our hearts.

Kevin McTiernan: My Mother lived at the Wellington for the past 6 years. She died peacefully on Dec. 2. The Staff were very compassionate and kind towards my mother and went out of their way to make her comfortable. Every time I visited different staff would say they went to see my mother and some even sang a song for her. The doctor, nurses and support workers always listened to my concerns and showed they really cared about my mother. Lynnie L: I could not ask for a more caring and dedicated group of people. The Wellington has proven to be a wonderful place. During the Pandemic..they protected Residents like they were their own Loved Ones...keeping their Spirits up with music dance and "Wacky Hair Days and posted regularly on Facebook. During the time when we were unable to visit..the staff made regular Skype calls for the Residents.The Wellington turned out to be the Best place for my Mother..she laughs and talks about staff like they are Family..if I could..I would give it more stars. Keep up the Great Work..you guys are the Best.

Meaghan Edwards: dog on the edge of the front lawn in front of the older lodge, exclaiming 'no wonder our dogs go wild when they come here.' Weird encounter. They do have a garden for the seniors to tend to which I thought was really nice.There is apparently a gift shop located in the lodge but not sure where it is located.
Christina Di Pietro: Excellent attention and consideration from the staff at Macassa Lodge. Our grandmother is staying there and we arrived just before lunch time. They offered to set up her lunch in a private games room so we could stay with her, and the kids played while she ate. She truly enjoyed it, and it brought some smiles to all of us. Thank you again!
