Youth Mental Health Canada (YMHC Charitable Foundation): what do users think?

Ashrita D'mello: This is a very important aspect of early childhood and I'm very glad that YMHC is focusing its efforts to reduce mental health issues as well as suicide prevention efforts.

Graeme O'Farrell: YMHC is a wonderfully helpful and resourceful coalition of volunteers. I wish I had access to their supports and community when I was younger.

Luisa Alarcón: Facebook suggested the YMHC page to me a few months ago, I have followed it since, and I look forward to their posts and graphics. I will often share content with other groups and directly with people who may relate to specific information. My kids don’t have social media profiles, so I take screenshots, and I share educational and motivational content with them. The staff and volunteers do a great job with their outreach! Please know that your dedication and commitment don't go unnoticed. Your contribution is very much needed and appreciated.

Karen Prieur Bentley: The YMHC has a dedicated team of staff & volunteers who promote both learning and positive community-minded action. I tend to follow the organization's FB page and always find their posts informative, respectful & relevant.

Sumin Lee: I’m proud to be a volunteer with YMHC. YMHC provides so many supportive resources for youth and everyone I have worked with works tirelessly for an important cause.

Shaunnah Stone: I support this organization as its value and the contributions it makes to our society is of great importance. I especially love seeing their posts on Facebook. The articles they provide, the daily words and graphics of support to so many are in invaluable. As a student in post secondary education, their resources are incredibly supportive and complimentary to what I am studying in the field of social care.

Tracey Bazso: YMHC does such amazing things for youth, families and those who support youth! So many resources, free and paid! So blessed to have found YMHC and even more blessed to have volunteered with them! Love Lol the people I did work with.

Andrada Viorica Cretanu: You are just, simply, perfect! ❤️ I found your page on Facebook and I read all your posts, thaaank you for all you do for our mental health 🙏 ❤️

Cancer Assistance Program: what do users think?

Terri Kovacs: I cannot say enough about the can assistance program. They are amazing. So helpful. They can help you with a drive to an appointment, equipment or walkers and such. Masectomy items and wigs. They are so welcoming and kind. Thank you for everything. 🙏🤗

Monique Berry: very considerate staff and helpful programs.

Jeff Taylor: Offered great assistance

Deborah Lapping: During my cancer journey, CAP has been indispensable. They provided transportation to my numerous appointments, all by kind, caring and uplifting drivers. These drivers all assisted in far more ways than they are aware. I live on the far border of the Hamilton boundary and during these long rides, my anxiety was greatly reduced by the conversation with each and every driver. Calling CAP to arrange a ride was always handled with patience and kindness by Sandy and her crew. I eventually gathered up the strength and courage to go in a a bra fitting and prosthesis and found the dearest little lady doing the fitting, to be supportive and encouraging. I was so anxiety ridden about the whole situation, but she was so sweet and kind, and set my mind at ease. The food from Zarky's was a huge help, particularly right after my surgery. The personal care items and meal suppliments were most definitely appreciated. I don't know how I could ever thank the numerous people whose hard work and compassion helped myself and thousands of other cancer patients, through their terrifying and life altering experience with cancer. My journey is not completely over, but they got me through the worst of it and I thank God they were there!

Melanie: I can not say enough about the cancer assistance program! How quickly they came to my dad's aid when he needed them. They immediately helped with transportation when I can not do it. They found him a walker and cane the same day I called and are simply an amazing organization! They are volunteer based, so if you have the time, give them a call and offer some of your time.

Agie Heidinger: The volunteers here are just amazing and so nice. So many wonderful services that they provide at no cost.

Lisa Charette: I’m so grateful for the services provided by CAP. Cancer is so isolating & was even more so during the pandemic. The Cancer Assistance Program helped me face some of my health challenges and fears with kindness and support. Thank you to the wonderful staff and volunteers.

Debb Consoli: I would never been able to survive this unexpected journey without the wonderful program and people at CAP. Even before l was released from the hospital they were helping with assistive devices, food and rides to cancer appointments. I am so thankful to staff, volunteers and those that donate to the program

Tammy Baxter: The staff here are so caring and extremely compassionate. Thank you for everything that you did for my late husband and now for helping me!! It's greatly appreciated beyond words!!

Karen Pupek: Great friendly professional and caring needs. They are such a big help as my husband deals with his cancer

Todd Gnish: Approximate 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer and stayed 7 months at Juravinski Hospital. In need of some equipment due to complications I was referred to CAP. The Social Worker from the hospital took care of assessing my needs and arranged for several items to be sent to my apartment upon being discharged. This included a wheelchair, grab bar for the bathroom and a shower seat. They were promptly shipped to my home. Additionally, I was enrolled in their driver assistance program that helps transport you to any Cancer related appointments. I've yet to use this service, but it's super to know it's available when needed. Thanks for the help CAP, Todd!

Florence Benoit: Very nice people

GRIMSBONIAN13: Great people

Dan Penrose: Truly a Hamilton blessing

SR Kish: Thank you for this service.I needed this service in Sept 2020 for a family member and they make life easier, and give the patient no pressure with equipment, help with parking, I was very impressed and donated to this Hamilton service for Christmas. With COVID, I have only spoken on the phone and gone to the back door to pick up items. All you volunteers are angels to give of your time and energy, you make a difference and thank you! Blessings to all volunteers!

Youth Wellness Centre: what do users think?

katie: I have been coming here for 2 years and this is a safe accepting space dedicated to helping youth connected with the resources they need. I really enjoy seeing Jonah who works here they are incredibly easy to talk to and always make you feel heard about whatever you’re going through

Darya: . My only complaint which is no fault of their own is the waitlist is very long, sign up early. There are lots of people that need help and it creates long wait times.

Cindy Vranas: An incredible resource for youth between the ages of 17 and 25. Very caring and compassionate staff, drop in counseling available Wednesdays and Thursdays. If you are a young person in of need help, please try this resource.

Latido: This is a profoundly emotionally generous place and one of the few gems in Hamilton to be that open.

Joshua Drexler: If you need help with mental health or addiction, call them. They care and will do everything they can to help guide you.To the guy that drove here with a broken foot, I think you had the wrong address, this isn't a doctor's office.
