Bruce Keating: Had an opportunity to see the suites at 775 Concession today with my partner, and met with Farheen. She was absolutely wonderful to deal with when touring two suites and did not skip a single detail. The suites were wonderful and she was able to provide answers to every question we had; would definitely recommend taking a look if you have a chance! We did decide to go with another property due to the proximity to work but would have considered it as our plan B. Clearly a put together team and exquisite presentation of suites—thank you again!

Mahmoud Abdul-Aziz: I met Mitch a few times, and he is honestly a wonderful landlord. I've been at this location for a few years now and he is always been very helpful. When ever work is needed at the apartment, he is there in no time to help out. Even with problems I've had outside of the apartment, he was always there to help out, he helped me take my car out a couple of times when it was stuck in the snow storms. I strongly recommend this place.

Chris Scott: As a longtime resident of Lakeview Apts. I have seen several of the custodial staff come and go, as well as the recent change brought on by new ownership. While the transition to new ownership has been relatively smooth, the addition of a new building maintenance worker named MITCH has been an extremely positive development. Mitch is dedicated to his work and maintains a safe and clean environment both in and around the building. In addition, Mitch is friendly, approachable, prompt to respond to requests and always polite, courteous, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure tenant satisfaction. I HIGHLY recommend Mitch's performance and believe that he is a valuable asset for your company and, as such, should be commended for his work and rewarded for his outstanding commitment to the tenants of Lakeview Apts.
Rita Meinert: Have lived here for almost 6 years and have been happiest since CLV took over. Mitch keeps the building clean and is very accommodating. Major improvement in building maintenance.

Jessy k l Stainthorpe: The place fits immediate needs its older but kept clean the rates are fair the weekends are loud because of all the partying going on with all the university students but there was never any trouble the owner is quick to fulfill any of your needs and always friendly it's a collectic kind of spot it's got all the basics and bus stops right out front a wide variety of ppl go there 8 room in total 4 up stairs 4 down 3 bathrooms I found it to a port in the storm when I was there.

Great location for McMaster students with lots of late night food and little pubs nearby too! Would recommend to students or anyone needing clean quiet accommodations in the area.

Accessable parking and the buildings located on a quiet street close to everything you need on Locke! There's 59 Units in the building but it's very quiet and the common areas are never crowded.

I had a friend who came weekly to check my apartment but I didn’t have time to notify Canada Post to stop my mail. Shelley said she would be glad to hold my mail in her cleaning room. When I got back this morning she had all my mail ready for me and would not accept money or a gift in thanks.This isn’t the first time I’ve seen Shelley go beyond the norm. Alexandra Evans: My experience living in this building has been for the most part very good. The walls are quite thin, so you can often hear your neighbours, which can be disruptive. There have been over 3 fires in the building in the past year, which is never good. The maintenance crew in charge of the building is always very attentive though and responsible. Donna Stinson and Rob Augustine are excellent! Thank goodness for both of these people. They are quick to solve problems and generally concerned for the well being of the tenants.

They address problems right away and I never hesitate to ask for their assistance. The property and the neighbourhood are always clean and my experience has been absolutely positive since I moved in

Elizabeth Gould: Nice building quiet for the most part except the 2 nights there was a man arguing very loudly with himself. Aside from the shower not being as clean as I would have liked the place was clean. The kitchen had a pretty good stock of cookware and dishes more than most airbnb's I have been at I loved the skylight in the kitchen and the open concept. I would certainley stay again.

Emily Moeller: Had a great stay at this guesthouse! The rooms were well put together and very clean. The shared spaces were also well decorated and clean, it definitely felt like a home. Such a gorgeous house from the exterior and interior. It was a unique place to stay to meet other travelers from around the world. Very centrally located, within walkable distance to the train to Toronto. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I'd highly recommend others to stay here, especially considering their prices!Rooms: Rooms were unique, clean and cozy.Nearby activities: Right near downtown Hamilton, so there are lots of great food options!Safety: I arrived by walking late at night from the train station and had no issues as a single woman, it felt very safe to me.Walkability: Very walkable to food and to the train station.

Andrew Moffit: An interesting large house converted to a hostel. I wish I had more time to converse with the various denizens but was just in town for a concert for one night. Did make a drinking buddy in the basement kitchen, which my private room was the only adjacent, so could be fairly boisterous without a cause for concern. Coffee machine could use an upgrade — it’s one where you have to put a filter in, which I’m sure I failed spectacularly at. Some furniture is tired in the common areas, but for the lower price is to be expected and adds an air of mystique. Wifi good for working remotely/studying.

Bill Stevens: This is a student residence type setting. With that in mind I give it a 5 star across the board. Don't expect the Hilton if you come here. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a kitchenette for under $100.00 a night. Staff were great, the suite was clean, and I used the gym in the college for $6.00 a day. I was there to visit family in the area and see some sights with my daughter. Could not ask for better accommodations.Food & drinks: Lots of restaurants nearby south on up Upper James Street.

Andria Hexx: Great place to stay during the summer---bear in mind this is a college campus so it's not going to be as quiet as some places but all in all totally worth the price and the staff are really nice & accommodating.The rooms have 2 seperate bedrooms and a kitchen area with sink & microwave, ideal if you're travelling with a friend , kids or even 2 couples.Being a school, you do have to smoke/vape off the property, but not a big deal.I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Hamilton, cheaper than the mid range hotels and just as nice, really. Lots of food options fairly close, if you don't drive maybe bring a bike...also bonus points for having a bike lockup & laundry facilities!

My room was right at the roof where the fan for the AC was, so for that I dropped a star as I am a light sleeper. They tried to accomodate a switch for me but the Residence was completely booked.I will stay there again next year.CH

Despite this, the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the overall experience was positive. I recommend this hotel, with the hope that they address the issue with the kitchen utensils for future guests' convenience.

Ruth Readyhough: I sent an email first thing in the morning concerning a lack of heat in my apartment. Ian, from maintenance, was at my door by mid afternoon to check in on me. He made some adjustments to the radiator in the living room which brought some relief but also explained that a big job was being done on the building-wide heating system the next morning and he was confident that this repair would fix my problem. He encouraged me to call immediately if the heat wasn’t adequate by the following afternoon. It was indeed adequate and I had no further need for maintenance.Ian was very pleasant and helpful. I appreciated that he shared the ‘bigger picture’ - that of the maintenance to be done the following day.

J Cline: It was a refreshing change from a couple of experiences I've had with Hilton chains on my week long trip. The only complaint I have with this one is that the pool area had an odor that would put you in mind of a 1990's Charlotte county New Brunswick camp party.The pool area smelled bad enough that my wife and kids came straight back up to the room, which to the Hotel's credit, is a room that I expect from a Hilton chain. Very well appointed, clean, spacious, thoughful. Between it and the extremely helpful front desk staff, I would return to this location without hesitation. The beds are comfy, the anteroom and kitchen are well equipped with modern furnishings and adornments.Parking is paid parking BUT it has the added value of being in a secure access underground lot, below the building where access is gained to and from the location with camera and room key card.Breakfast is free with a good selection and value, and this location offers the benefits of being a taller location with rooms on levels up to 16 floors above the street.Location takes a hit with no fault to the staff or management. This was a planners fault. This section of Hamilton, while in the core of the city, has you passing a run down area with many borded up building and decrepit lots in the area around the hotel. Otherwise it has amazing views and is within striking distance of the Mississauga and Niagra regions.Rooms: Amazing, well-appointed 2 queen suite with thoughtful complimentary snacks for the family. The front desk associate informed us that complimentary snacks had been placed in the room prior to our arrival. This made me feel very valued as a customer and was a touch that made me want to return to this location regardless of my previous experiences with Hilton chains on this trip. It counters what I feel is a move by Hilton executives to cut costs at the expense of value and cudos to whoever made the decision to add this thoughtful touch to our room.
