McQuesten Urban Farm: what do users think?

Fred Hrischedson: Volunteer with the kids in the farming area! Great, friendly staff!

Monique Berry: It's a happen’n place full of life and activity.

Amanda McKay: Great Community garden!

cherry lapierre: Love having a green space in my neighborhood

shirrie jackson: Ok

Bee Mckay: Very good, we need more of these around but the hours for selling dont match my needs.

brooke tardif: Great service, great veggies

Lisa Skipper: Great Saturday market

Enacia Munn: Mcquesten urban farm is our local farm which helps to feed our residents. During covid19 the building is closed. However, on Saturday mornings there is an outside market where you can get great, fresh produce for very low prices. In full disclosure, I work as a volunteer for the mcquesten bistro as cook at the mcquesten community centre. Also affiliated with Niwasa.

Bridget Carter: a great place to find friends

Lizzydizzy303 Upper: It's an amazing place to get help if you need it , with great staff...

Tracy Boivin: Love the variety of vegetables .. very afoardable.. and a great group of people 😀

Trevor K.: The most community focused bunch of people I've met. I'm sick but I can't wait to help out down there. I've been waiting for two yrs to get well enough. This place exemplifies what community is all about. There is so much knowledge to be gleaned from growing your own food. And really - it's liberating. The world is facing many challenges and it is places like this and people like this that will save our precious planet. And along the way there are so many individual opportunities to make an impact. I encourage everyone to benefit from the delicious produce but I really hope people behind to understand the crisis the world faces with this worsening food shortage.

Lynda Bonus: What a beautiful experience! I called, spoke to a very friendly woman who gave me accurate entry instructions, quoted pricing and, I found out upon arrival, took note of the fact that I would be coming in to pick up today. I purchased 2 x 5lb boxes of mushrooms - 1 cremini and 1 white and they were even carried out to my car for me by a gentleman employee. This level of service is not found in our grocery stores anymore so I appreciate having a buy direct option for mmmmushrooms! Can't wait to taste them!

Aleksander Ross: High quality mushrooms!

Matt Donnelly: Very tasty mushrooms

Bigi Paul: Best mushrooms, been getting mushrooms from them, always fresh and delicious and as a shroom fan explore all varieties each time.

Jamie Evans: Amazing views and walking trails.

Lynlee Spencer: My two boys did summer camp this year for the first time and both absolutely loved it. The counsellors are great and were able to manage my children without any issues at all which is refreshing. Thank you!

Andrea Wamsteeker: TEAD camp helped empower my kids to take care of others and helped with their emotional health. They put on an impressive show at the end of the week!

Kara Canning: TEAD is incredibly amazing and will always hold a special place in my heart. My first experience with the program was when I was around 10 years old as a camper which was such a fun, immersive experience. As an adult I volunteered and then worked as a camp counsellor which was also a fantastic experience. The staff are so dedicated to their mission and make everyone feel so welcomed and safe. The horses are so loved and well looked-after. You can really tell how much love and dedication that has gone into the program from the stables to the arena and the entire property itself is beautiful and well-kept. I will always treasure this wonderful place ❤️

Kim Curran: TEAD is a wonderful organization providing the countless benefits of equine based therapeutic riding and unmounted, wellness focused programming, as well as an integrated summer camp. Programs take place in a safe and inclusive environment, supported by highly trained caring staff and a small army of dedicated volunteers.Interacting with TEAD's beautiful, gentle horses in a peaceful rural setting truly makes a positive difference in the lives of people of all abilities in our community!

Enza Cappello: My daughter has been a rider at TEAD for many years. She absolutely loves it and is so happy when she’s on the horse, these days it’s Oliver! The staff and volunteers are amazing! Such a wonderful organization that we are proud to be a part of.

Tania Park: Programs like this are priceless for our community. This company has been around for a long time supporting special people in our community and they are great to deal with!

Gina da Costa: My daughter just started her therapeutic lessons on Fridays 2 weeks ago and she is just so happy being around the horses, especially Bobby. Melody is super friendly and flexible. When my daughter was feeling anxious, she allowed myself and youngest to stick around. My youngest now wants to join tead!

Ellen Scarlett: This facility keeps all its population in mind. The horses are very well taken care of, and provided with everything needed to make them comfortable and content. The staff is very knowledgeable and approachable, and it’s a great work/volunteer/riding environment. It’s one big family, who respects and cares for everyone and everything on this beautiful picturesque well maintained property.

Maddie Rawling: Amazing place to volunteer!

Bonnie Clay: TEAD is a very special place. Full of community connection you will meet the incredible volunteers, wonderful staff, amazing riders, and lovely horses!

Kerry Houlding: My favourite riding stable; keeping riders safe are the instructors first priority and making everyone feel a part of the community is a close second. It’s also a wonderful place to volunteer and learn how to groom, lead, and care for horses.

Ember Johnstone: TEAD is such a safe, welcoming, magical community for people with or without disabilities who are looking for a deep connection with horses. They offer so many great equine baed programs - from therapeutic riding lessons / Summer Camp/ Equine Assisted Learning / Corporate Wellness programs and MORE! Some are mounted and others are unmounted so it depends on what your preference may be - they make a point of accommodating to your specific needs and finding the right program for you.

Marn Lawton: Great volunteers and staff. A wonderful experience with the horses.

J Gross: Such a wonderful organization that is professional, safe, fun, and a welcoming space where horses provide a unique form of therapy. Programming is top notch, instructors are THE BEST and you can tell they really love their horses.

susan vigneswaran: I had an amazing experience joining the therapeutic riding sessions offered at T.E.A.D. Ellen, my instructor and wonderful volunteers ,really made me feel comfortable, and confident in every session. They really accommodate you to your needs. I joined the therapeutic riding lessons to improve my mobility. In a short period, I was able to confidently sit and ride holding the reins. I am so grateful for the experience. Looking forward to joining in the upcoming seasons!

Merry Farms: what do users think?

Catherine Fairbairn: Very cute tree farm. Loved the red pickup truck and Christmas store. It wasn't very busy on a Wednesday when we went. Lots of stuff for kids to do. I only gave a 4 because most of the activities were roped off

Sara Imrie: Amazing family tradition.Best tree farm in the area. The only place we go now. Will continue to make more memories here.

Sharon McEwan: Great trees and they are very quick with shaking, drilling and wrapping it.

Gabriela Jarosz: Our experience at Pumpkinfest far exceeded our expectations. There were so many fun activities for kids of all ages. What I most appreciated was the reservation system. The farm was sold out for the weekend and when we arrived the parking attendant told us they had turned away tons of people who didn’t have reservations. Once inside we never had more than 2-3 people in line in front of us for anything including the wagon ride, pumpkin patch, bathrooms, food, or any games or activities. My toddler was able to enjoy all the fun activities, the staff were so friendly and helpful in directing us where we wanted to go. I really appreciated that the farm forgoes extra money from admissions in favour of providing patrons with a really fun and memorable and not overly crowded experience.

Simran Budwal: Definitely one of the best pumpkin patches we've ever been to! We all had a great time, so many fun activities and many beautiful areas set up for family photos! 10/10 Recommended!
