We gather at 10:30 am Sundays on Zoom and in our lower hall at 24 Main W.
Here is our safety plan effective Mar 26 2022 : i) we will form the circle again in the lower hall, distancing the seats by a metre for the time being. ii) people may join the circle if they are willing to wear a mask. The reason for the masks is that we will allow ourselves to sing, and masking reduces the distance air we expel travels with the increased effort of singing.
Our in-person gathering continues to require your use of a mask. We strongly encourage vaccination, but know that there are barriers for some people and we desire not to create more.

Jiaqing Pan (Canada 家庆): It has a history of 150 years and was once a symbol of Hamilton.

Devon: Decent venue but the show I went to was waaaay too loud for the small space. Not sure if the issue was the band, the speakers or if all shows are that loud
Chris Ritsma: I've definitely never seen a concert in a church.This venue was amazing. It was cozy, small, and amazing to look at. The layout was really cool, and the entire vibe was awesome. I hope to see more shows here in the coming years. I can see this becoming a well known concert venue in Hamilton, if it isn't already. The drinks for sale were well priced, though I wish there were some lighter beer options. I do love me some local brews, but a lot of craft beers are very heavy, and it would be nice to start with a great beer and finish with a lighter one.The bathrooms were okay considering the number of people, and the coolest part on the frigid night I went was the cool radiators they use through the church.One complaint was that my girlfriend and her friend are quite short, and a slight higher stage would have been nice so we could see the act playing. We saw Dan Mangan, and it felt like a super cool, and oh so Canadian night! Will definitely be back!

Stone Fu (Sidong): My wife and are new to Hamilton, and we enjoy this community of caring people. Weekly group is also a good place for deeper reflection of life and hearing other people's life stories. Lots of good social justice advocacy and actions. People are open-minded and friendly. I very much agree with Unitarian Universalist's theology and values after doing years of searching in psychology, religion, and spirituality.

I have never been in a Unitarian Church before and what a lovely place, very simple but the pastor was so kind and the people as well. It was one of the most beautiful celebration of life/funeral I have been to and it left many with tears and smiles in the end.

Norine Jones: Love this wonderful church. We have an active and vibrant congregation. Members are fully engaged in helping within the community through many organizations including Gore Park Community Outreach. We have both a bell choir and a vocal choir. Our majestic old Cassavant pipe organ accompanies us every week. Feel welcome to check us out any time. We LOVE to have visitors.
Julie Brousseau: Such a beautiful old church filled with lovely stained glass windows everywhere. This would be a great spot for a wedding. There's a beautiful balcony that over hangs the sanctuary.
Robert Knox: Ryerson has been our family's church for three generations. My 91 year old mother first attended Ryerson when she was three years old. Although I no longer live in Hamilton, major events for us still happen at the church. Peter has been a great minister and good friend to us all.

Kayla Leanne: The church itself is beautiful; well taken care of and maintained. The staff who run the church are kind; but I must warn you; you can get lost in here! It’s massive! Great place to rent for weddings; parties; there have been bake sales and many other things located inside the church. The front desk staff always greet you with a smile.

This church also does a lot of social work and services to students.Highly recommend!!! This community is more like a big family! If there is a desire/need to understand topical issues of faith, soul, God, and the future, you can hear good and simple answers here.I recommend!!! This church is interesting because it speaks very openly and simply about complex things. The atmosphere is friendly and family-like!

Charlene Dokter: Beautiful. I love to visit here. I'm in a small band and they allow us to rent a hall for practice. The grounds are stunning. The church inside is average, but it suits many options.

Andrew Likakis: Even though I am not a member of this congregation, I feel like I need to return just to sit in the seats and listen to the stories. This is a welcoming community. Hopefully all those who are lost can be found.
Lisa Wang: If you are like me and you often struggle with your faith in context of the modern world, this is the church for you. I dread going to most churches because usually the teachings feel antiquated, the people are judgy. This church is truly different and it is a church I had hoped for for this conflicted millennial. Pastor Kevin is very friendly and sounds like a pretty chill dude. The church is mostly young adults and quite a few young parents. There's a lot of art projects I think there's a bunch of artist in this church?The only thing is that my husband and I have gone there several times but we haven't received much welcome and nobody really said hi to us? I don't think anyone notices newcomers except Pastor Kevin. Could be the millennial social awkwardness.
