Michele Braun: Kudos to Aaron at The Diplomat Friday May 12, 2023. We arrived with a reservation that I had made in error for the incorrect day. The restaurant was currently closed for a movie shoot. Aaron took it upon himself to walk us over to The French and secure us a table. He was very friendly and professional but most of all helpful. We had an amazing meal at The French and a lovely evening. Amazing customer service, staff and food. Highly recommend both establishments!

Jesse Seheult: When we were there we were greeted by Michael. Michael was absolutely fantastic smiling and laughing with us as we were joking around. He was patient with us not having had African food before. He was very thorough in explaining the different dishes and giving his recommendations. We ended up ordering the Shrimp, Choma, and Mbuzi, and shared between the three and each dish was beyond expectations. Everything was very delicious and we could not have asked for a better taste. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is unsure about African cuisine and is curious to try. I will DEFINITELY be coming back! 5 Stars!!!

L L: Cute place but the hours are not very accommodating

Dee M: Walked over here while my sister did her driving test & had some breakfast. The lady cooked right away on a grill, no precooked food waiting to be microwaved. Service was nice, she even brought the food to my table.

Jioh Kim: , and steak Frites. Food was good, but the service was EXCELLENT. Nour, our server made our day! She was so friendly, witty and attentive. I mentioned to her that it was my partner’s birthday and she didn’t forget to put a candle on our dessert, following by a couple cocktails for us on the house. Overall, a very pleasant evening celebrating a special occasion!

Dominik Parisien: Best food in Hamilton. My wife and I have been ordering from Wass for about two years and the food has always been outstanding. It's our go-to place to order and our favourite restaurant in the city. We normally pick it up but decided to dine there for my birthday. Yonas was so kind, and the food superb. The presentation was also lovely. We definitely need to eat there in person more often. Can't recommend it enough.
Brandon Findling: My friend just moved by Wass so we walked in to grab dinner and check it out. Food is absolutely incredible! We shared the beef alicha and lamb Wass special with injera and rice. So much flavor in everything, we literally cleaned it all up! My friend said it might be the best Ethiopian food he has had. Lastly, I had a cup of their Ethiopian coffee which was also incredibly tasty. Thoroughly impressed 😋

Sar T: We found this cute little place in Hamilton. Tried the manakish beef and cheese, Manakish zaatar with vegetables and Turkish coffee. The presentation is very nice, taste also very good. The bread was smoky grilled and love the filling. Turkish coffee served in a cute little coffee pots and love the cardamom taste. Very recommend to give it a try.

We told our waitress Amanda, & she immediately told her manager Cara.We tried to finish it,by putting au jus on it. Near the end of our meal the Manager came over & told us that the meal was on the house. We were totally surprised & pleased..We only had to pay for our drinks. We will definitely be back, best service ever.Dietary restrictions: I told them I had Dairy Allergies they had the manager check my order to make sure there was no dairy

Bruno Di Giovanni: We had a great experience at The Keg last night we just came after 5:00 but they still gave us 5:00 happy hour drinks and my wife felt her steak was a little salty and they comp'd her steak management and the server for us were great throughout the evening we've been there before and will continue going there based on the good food and good service
