Jim T: I went here a few weeks ago for breakfast for the 1st time. The place was nice and quiet, and upon entering we were greeted right away, and seated. The waitress was very kind, and attentive. The breakfast I got was 2 eggs and Peameal bacon, served with toast and home fries. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the Peameal bacon was delicious. The waitress came around a couple times asking how the breakfast was and offering a refill on our coffee's. Service was excellent, food was delicious, and the atmosphere was family friendly. Country Watcher: Absolutely good place to have a buffet breakfast with family and friends. Easy to find, sufficient car parking etc. Very friendly staff with good customer service. Quality of the food is subjective and standard. You can not expect 5 star rating food, but I am pretty sure we get for what we pay . Their rate is Just $16.99/ breakfast and $6.99 for kids' breakfast. They can add some quality breads or bagels that's my suggestion...

Jim T: I went here a couple weeks ago for breakfast. I got the bacon omlette served with toast, and home fries. The bacon omlette was pretty good I'd recommend getting cheese in it. It was really filling. The home fries were cut different than traditional home fries, they were thick and octagon shaped, I'd personally prefer smaller and crisper home fries but to each their own. The waitress was very kind and attentive and came back a couple times to refill our coffee's and ask us if we needed anything else. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, and clean. I'd definitely eat here again.Parking: Plaza parking lots of spaces to park

Luke Greco: It wasn't easy researching for a great Italian restaurant in Hamilton, but we found it at Capri. The vibe in the restaurant captures the blue of Capri well, and the staff were very friendly. There was only our group of 2 and one other on a Sunday night for dinner, and it may have been a slow day, but don't be turned off by that anyway because the food speaks for itself. We got the fried calamari and a panzerotto to start and share. The fried calamari were as good as any, light batter that stayed on and a perfect amount of salt, with a nice cocktail sauce. The panzerotto was also very tasty and seemed to be lightly fried, but not oily. Served with a side sauce which was a nice touch that not every place does. For our mains we split the eggplant parmigiana dish as it also came with a side pasta or salad and opted for a side of the broccoli pasta, both of which were excellent. I enquired about the eggplant parmigiana before ordering and was told that they recently started breading it which is exactly what I wanted to hear because if you don't do that it turns out to be a mushy mess. This one was layered and had good structure or easy cutting and texture. The sauce on it was also flavourfull. The pasta dish was also very good with a garlic olive oil base and was very fresh and cooked al dente. The portions were so big we were able to split this one main. All of that came out to just over $70 with tax and tip. We were very impressed with this hidden family gem.
Michelle Leo: I was at the restaurant Wednesday May 17th 1st the service was amazing there was one waitress and she was fabulous unfortunately. I did not get her name but oh my goodness amazing young woman. 2nd food was amazing I ended up having the chicken parm. And I got gnocchi on the side It was homemade and it was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant I used to go to it years ago And the food is still? Amazing. You should really check it out if you're looking for good italian food in the downtown Hamilton.

Terence: Unassuming & unpretentious. Super clean place. Amazing service. Delicious food. Ordered the pizza burger, what a blend of two of my favorites... also ordered the cod and haddock fish & chips - fresh and flaky - just how it should be. You they have serious fish & chips when they serve malt vinegar. But the amazing service was what made the difference. Friendly and welcoming. Will make this a must visit every time we are in Hamilton.

My daughter had the chicken nuggets and the cheesy bread and for a finicky eater she was pleasantly satisfied. My girlfriend had the haddock and chips and was amazed. I myself, chose the Pizza Burger and if you have never had this before imagine taking a bite of a pepperoni pizza, then before swallowing, taking a bite of a bacon cheeseburger. This was simply the most amazing flavor combination I have ever tasted. Nothing was greasy as you would expect and everything came to the table in a reasonable amount of time. This was the first time that we ever took food home because we couldn't finish it all and I cannot wait to reheat that burger later on tonight. This place is amazing and there nothing else I can say to make you want to go here. The atmosphere was up my alley as I enjoy local joints and their unique characteristics like an old style bar counter and non-functioning jukeboxes in each booth. Niousha Gazor: Fairly priced, generous portions for breakfast foods. Very friendly staff.
Matthew Le Sage: 1st time there and got a Turkey Club with Fries and Gravy along with a great coleslaw. The entire meal was great with good portions. I always enjoy the "Diner" atmosphere, seeing the cooks in back whipping up various orders. Next time I will try something different as a club sandwich was a safe choice for 1st time. Something that was nice to see was the recognition from servers to regulars coming in, always nice to get that feeling. Service was great and quick, no waiting.

D Lamb: Toby's hands down has the best 'home cooked' meals. Super friendly staff and the food is delicious. Clean environment and you feel like you're visit family for a meal. C. Lee: My coworkers and I have been coming here for about a year or so, and the service and food is always excellent. One thing I noticed that rekindled my faith in humanity is that Toby's allows a few houseless people sit and drink coffee when its very cold outside. Caylee Spearing: Been here so many times would definitely consider it one of my favorite places to eat by far as a picky person I tend to have a lot of anxiety with going out to eat giving the fact that idk if they will have anything I even like but this place does not disappoint they have the basics like chicken strips and fries a killer Mac and cheese that's my favorite on the kids menu they have alfredo but if you ask they're nice enough to make it in a bigger size the restaurant it's self just visually looks very cool and rustic and the service is always amazing
Andrew Sparkes: Went out for our monthly family meal, the server Angie M was fantastic. Service was fast and accurate. The food was brilliant, the ribs and wings were great the meat fell right off the bone. The cornbread was sweet and moist. My kids enjoyed their meals too except my son who found out the chicken sandwich was to spicy for him 😆, but he finished most of it.
Random Llama: Came here with my aunt for lunch and was served by Andrew, he was very friendly and great at his job. I come here semi regularly and I prefer this location to some others I’ve been to since the servers are kind and the atmosphere is better than a lot of similar restaurants. I particularly love the skillet cookie, it’s often the deciding factor when considering where to eat since the cookie, ice cream and toffee sauce pair so well together. Andrew was also very understanding of my dietary restrictions and made sure my meal was altered accordingly, which is shockingly rare among other restaurants. Thanks for the great meal!
