Kirby James: I had a custom axle that was bent I needed to get it replaced asap. After calling around a bunch of places everyone said it would take 2 weeks. I called Nando and he said he could have it done on Thursday the earliest this being Monday. I said go ahead I need it before Friday. I gave him my credit card information. He called me Wednesday and said it was ready for pick up. He didn't even charge my credit card until a day after I picked it up. He was very knowledgeable and guided me how to measure the axle etc. Hands down a great guy to do business with and I know if I need anything like that again I know who I'm going to call Nando! I would definitely recommend Nando. Thanks Nando!!!

They always take the time to answer any inquiry thoroughly and provide you with real and factual responses - the gentleman and lady who answer the phones and are at the front counter, are phenomenal at getting everything you need looked after. I have an older classic vessel and parts are difficult to find, however, Bay City is able to order whatever I provide a part number for, and are able to get all OE Spec Mercury parts or their equivalent, within an extremely timely manner. Really can’t say enough - they outdo themselves and they my go-to for all Mercury/Mercruiser parts.

Stuart Seldon: Bay City has been maintaining my boat for at least 10 years, and they've always been great folks to deal with. A recent situation has lead me to write this review.Last winter, a rodent got under the cowling on my Yamaha 150. The thing ate most of the wires under there. I patched things up as best I could, but the instruments on my dash wouldn't work. I finally got the boat in, fully expecting I'd need to drop $1500+ on a repair. When Doug called me a few hours after I dropped the boat off, I expected the worst, so I was thrilled when he told me it was a minor issue which they corrected, and that they'd checked out my work and thought it was just fine.My point is that they could have charged me a LOT more, but they didn't. Many mechanics would not be this honest. I mentioned this to Clarence, and he simply replied, "That's not how we do business." I knew that of course, because I've been using them for many years, for exactly this reason.I highly recommend Bay City Marine!

Jim Lambier: Great place to rent a trailer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I wanted to rent a trailer at a busy rental time. The woman who answered the phone patiently went through all of the various trailers and available booking dates to find one that worked for me. When I went to rent the trailer, they loaded the trailer onto my hitch, secured it and tested the lights. The trailer was in good condition and the inside was clean. The pricing is also very reasonable. I'll be back next time I need to move.

Benjamin Reynolds: This place makes a solid product, I ordered a 6x10 utility trailer a few years back. I love how the coupler can be removed making it virtually impossible to steal. Fenders bolt on so if they get damaged I’m sure you could swap them out too. There were a few hiccups with what was ordered but everything was made right and I received my spare tire for free. These guys were also 1000$ cheaper than miska at the time and didn’t up the price on it.

Eric Pierce: We contacted Nomad Custom Trailers to repair leaking side and back windows on our 13 foot boler. Email and phone contact was quick and courteous. They booked us in for a week, but when we dropped it off and they saw how far we had come they rushed the work and had it done in a day and a half, allowing us to stay over and take it the next day. They even spotted some issues with the door, and after confirming with us, were able to do that as well. Work was done to high standards, and all of the staff we dealt with was courteous and very knowledgeable and skilled. Their shop is awesome, and they can obviously do some very comprehensive work, see examples on their web page. We would highly recommend them for any work that you need done that is within their scope. A+++
Bas de Beer: I had a fantastic experience dealing with the knowledgeable and trustworthy staff at Nomad Custom Trailers. In the midst of my 1975 Airstream renovation I required some professional and skilled work to be done that I was not capable of doing myself. They were up for the massive task of completely rewiring the entire Airstream, re-install all the interior panels and replace brakes, wheels etc. They did it in such a timely fashion, with professionalism and sincere attention to detail.I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get a custom trailer built as that is what they do best. Places like these are very hard to come by... so a place like this with the excellent service and staff that I experienced is priceless. Talking about prices, they charge very affordable and fair rates for the work they do. Alyssa Abernot: These guys were super friendly and entertaining, had a cute pup named Willow to welcome you when you get there too. I was moving to school the next day and forgot I didn't have wiring for a trailer and they fit me in right away and finished everything super quick. They definitely saved me big time!

Rick Charron: I purchased a new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek and had ordered my own aftermarket trailer hitch and wiring kit originally planning to install it myself. My daughter told me about The Hitch Factory in Hamilton as they had put a trailer hitch on her VW Station Wagon. I called and made an appointment today for 11am and arrived early as it was around a 40 minute drive. They were able to take me in right away and installed the hitch I brought and also installed the wiring kit for the trailer lights. It was super quick and very professional. The techs did a fantastic job and were easy to talk to. They have everything you could ask for in regards to trailers, towing and accessories. They also have the bike racks that i want to get. If i had of known about this place I would have ordered everything from them in the first place. I will definitely be back in the near future. Service was excellent! Really appreciated speaking with front office service regarding my needs. Absolutely deserve better than a five star rating. Thanks!
Kiera: This place saved the day! I bought a new truck with a trailer hitch package installed and sure enough, I couldn’t find a hitch ball with a long enough shaft that would work. After calling numerous places and spending hours on the phone, I swung by this place and they immediately helped me out and installed what I needed. I was there and gone in less than ten minutes and they were so friendly & helpful!I HIGHLY reccomend the hitch factory!

Ashley Spence: Brought our 2017 Durango in on Thursday before closing for them to install all wiring, brake controller and hitch. Picked it up Saturday morning and couldn’t be happier. Everything works perfectly. Looks amazing and the service was top notch. Saved myself $1500 taking it here in comparison to Dodge dealer. Labour was half the time quoted at Dodge as well. They know what they’re doing and are best around the area at it. Highly recommend.
