Jim T: I visited here last night to attend a dinner and concert. The concert was awesome it was Gordon Hendricks as Elvis, and his performance was outstanding. The dinner was a 4 course meal that was delicious, and very filling! I really enjoyed the Southern Fried Chicken it was battered to perfection, and the meat was very tender and juicy! The dessert was a banana pudding that tasted delicious. All the staff there was very pleasant, and always greeted you with a smile on their face. The waitstaff are very hard workers, and us all at our table were amazed on how many dishes they can carry all at once. Fantastic night, fantastic people. I would definitely consider coming to another attraction in the near future, and I highly recommend this establishment for all your entertainment needs, catering, and engagements.

My partner can go on and on about Hector and his excellence.However, this review is regarding Taylor Barbet. She has been absolutely amazing. She has fulfilled each and every request my partner and I have had. I know at times we can be a lot, but with Taylor's patience, understanding, and exceptional listening skills, it really has been a smooth and stress free process. Her knowledge and expertise have also been very beneficial these last few months.I high recommend Carmen's Banquet Centre for any function, and hopefully you'll have the pleasure to work with Hector and Taylor the way my partner and I have.Carmine&Sarah

Beth K: . We had very little to do ourselves, which let us relax and enjoy the day. Jana was so helpful and responsive in helping us plan and run the day. There were so many thoughtful details/surprises through the day - bringing us breakfast, having our signature drinks ready for the bridal party immediately after the ceremony, putting our bouquets in vases at the main table. They brought me a giant speaker in the morning to jam out to my favourite tunes while getting ready. The decor was great

Alexandra Schembri: My husband and I got married at the Waterfront Centre this past weekend and could not be happier with our choice to hold our reception here! Claire helped us with our wedding planning and was incredible. She was very responsive, answering any question I had leading up to the day. Mike was on-site for the duration of the wedding and checked in with me throughout the night to make sure everything was going okay. The food was wonderful. We got the steakhouse package. I had multiple people tell me how much they loved the pistachio pasta and the steak. Everyone was also raving about the late night room! The public docks outside of the venue are beautiful for taking photos. We also got the entertainment package. The photo booth and light up batons were such a hit!

On the day of, everything ran so smoothly and we had such a great time. Everything looked beautiful and the decor and set-up was stunning. The food was absolutely amazing! Our friends and family are still talking about it! The team was so great! Ashlie got us all set up and Mike, Claire and the rest of the staff took care of us all night! It was such a great time and we are so thankful we had our wedding at the Waterfront Centre!

We had around 175 guests and it never felt cramped, it was the perfect amount of space! The decor they offer was fabulous and made it so much easier for end of the night clean up.Eduvina and Ashlie helped plan our wedding and Claire and Mike were there throughout the night making sure everything was under control and on time. They all did a fabulous job!!The bartenders did an amazing job keeping up with the number of people we had, there was never a long line - something we were concerned about from other weddings we have been to. If there was a longer line, Mike would run behind the bar to help catch up!I would recommended this venue to anyone! The level of stress alleviated by their all inclusive approach was amazing!

This was a smooth convenience I am thankful for.We have been on cloud 9 since July and honestly, a big part of that was because of this hall. I could relive that day every day if I could. If quality of food is important to you as it is to us, Liuna's executive chef and culinary team are truly amazing and talented. To this day, guests from our wedding are still commenting on how good the food was...especially the Antipasto Bar, 10/10!

I didn't get to try the food but everyone there loved it and wants to go back. Friendly owners and workers. Parking situation wasn't great but we managed to find parking on the street close by.

Ivona Tomic: My husband and I had our wedding recently at the Grand Olympia, and we cannot be more happy with not only the service but the overall experience of the venue.The manager Caela, was exceptionally helpful and attended to all of our requests.Not only is she the sweetest person but her client service skills are astounding. Through out the whole process from start to finish she has answered all of our questions and helped with making our day run as smooth as possible.The venue itself is beautiful, their recent renovation really show cases a certain level of class and beauty.I also had my bridal shower in one of the upstairs halls, and once again the decoration and food did not disappoint.For our wedding we had the hall decorated by Elizabeth who is the in-house decorator, and we cannot say enough about how stunning it all came out. I had a certain vision in mind and she has definitely surpassed it!As for the food, Melissa the chef did an outstanding job. The meals were very flavourful and fresh. Till this day we have our friends and family talk about how good the food was.If you are looking for a venue for your upcoming wedding, bridal shower, birthday, etc. I highly highly recommend The Grand Olympia, the staff, the venue, the food, and the overall vibe is astounding. 😊

Tips for Trips: GREAT place to have your wedding! There is plants of space - open air too. There is room for extra vendors like a photo booth. The stuff are very helpful and nice. Lots of places to take photos. There is a room to get ready too. It is quite large and fit the bride and bridesmaids. Contact them for a private view before you book with another place.

Jasmine Michaelis: Beautiful view and scenery for photos of the lake and estate. Palm trees give it a tropical vibe like you aren’t in Ontario. Great spot to catch a sunset and you might see swans swimming near by!The food was delicious. I had the chicken gnocchi and the flavour was of one of the best dishes I have had. The server recommended a wine to pair it with and knocked it out of the park, I even had to go back and ask for the name of the wine.There was a live guitarist who set the mood and the atmosphere was made for a nice fine dining experience.Highly recommend for special occasions or events! Enjoy!
Rina Alamag: to celebrate my parents' 55th wedding anniversary. A different experience, unfortunately so much less. Our waiter, although very nice, was clearly inexperienced. We had a noticeably long wait to receive our meals; my dad's fillet mignon was not prepared to specification. When we protested, our waiter took it to the kitchen, then returned it back to us insisting it was cooked as asked. Only when we cut into the meat to show it was overcooked that he took it back to the kitchen. My dad only received his meal when everyone else was already on desserts. No apologies, no acknowledgement of the mistake. The kitchen was definitely off this night. Also, there were not one but two flies that kept pestering us all evening! Was expecting so much more.July visit: My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here. The service is top notch, the food delicious with most everything prepared perfectly. The seared scallops melted in our mouths, however, the pork belly, while seasoned well, could have had crisper skin; it was rather chewy. I felt we were treated a little extra special given the special occasion. Truly appreciate this! Also there was a beautiful sunset! Highly recommended.

Ronald Myers: Yesterday we attended a celebration of life for Emily Kusmirski at White Eagle banquet hall, a hidden jewel in Hamiltons east end..the smaller of 2 halls was very nice.. the food was served family style, and delicious: salad & roll, meatballs in sauce, potatoes, chicken cutlet, mixed veg, & sweet tray, tea & coffee.As we were leaving I caught a glimpse of a much bigger hall, decorated for a wedding, the event planner kindly showed me the beautifully decorated room..I would highly recommend White Eagle banquet hall for an event, and will pass the word..I would love for these ladies to cater for future family events..please forward menu, prices & contact person..many thanks Ron
Gregory Zbigniewicz: A beautiful hall. would have never expected for it to be that beautiful for this location. Had a stag here, and a first holy communion. Amazing, caring staff. They will accommodate anything within your budget. The food is to die for, the grandmas/babcias in the kitchen know how to cook great authentic Polish food. Cassandra Sagodi: and they came through for us on short notice. They prepared meatballs and gravy, chicken cutlets, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes with dill and salad. Coffee and tea was also included, we provided our own drinks. They quoted us at one price but came in way under budget. When we went to see the space we'd be using they had already had our tables up and ready to go. The room was perfect for what we needed.The food was absolutely delicious. The service was quick and efficient 7 tables one server, he did an amazing service and clean up.. Highly recommend their services to anyone who needs a hall for a day.

With the help of the staff and my wedding planner, they transformed the venue into a magical evening.I worked with Agata and Stan. They were very helpful throughout the entire process. Food is always incredible, you will not go hungry.Service overall good
