The Plains Rd location in Burlington is only a few minutes from where I live, but they didn’t have what I was looking and I couldn’t find someone to help me… so I trekked out to Hamilton to see this location.This was my first visit, and I couldn’t believe how well organized it was. I could easily find what I was looking for. I came in person because there was pieces I wanted to see from the website to touch and try.It was a busy Saturday afternoon with lots of customers. I was greeted by Mason but I wasn’t quite ready yet for help, he came back again once I was ready and answered all my questions. Sean on a different occasion had also greeted me to make sure I was doing ok and finding everything I came to see. This duo was able to help with matching items to get the looks I wanted.Very pleasant and helpful, they made my choices clear and easy and we’re way more helpful then the people at Structube and JYSK.Thank you Sean and Mason + the team at JYSK Hamilton… I’m looking forward to picking up all the pieces once their in and sourcing from this location for future projects!M&R

My mum was shopping for a mattress because she was diagnosed with cancer, and her current mattress was uncomfortable. This was a really hard day for us and I was crying as mum tried each mattress. It was surreal having to make a purchase because of this reason and I can't tell you how grateful I was for the excellent customer service we received. Donna was kind and patient, and empathetic. She let mum take her time trying each mattress, helped her in and out of each bed and also helped mum with transferring into her wheelchair. Bill Butler: We bought a new home and were starting from 0 with regards to furniture. Ive lived in Hamilton my entire life but I had never been to parks. Its an old building and I made some assumptions on the business based on the look of the building. We decided to visit parks since their prices cant be beat and most furniture stores said they wouldn’t price match Parks which I understand why. We found out that the older building is no negative reflection of the staff or items being sold inside.We visited a few times and it’s a bit overwhelming since its so large. We ended up coming back 3 times and were actually considering buying from a different store until Matt approached us to provide assistance. After 5 minutes talking to Matt we knew we would buy from Parks and specifically from Matt. He was so knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with us going over options and explaining all the custom possibilities when looking at the manufacturers website. We struggled for 3 months to make decisions and Matt replied to every email and met with us many times and never became impatient with our ability to decide. In all my furniture shopping over the last 6 months and at a dozen stores, Matt is the best sales agent that Ive come across.We ended up buying a sofa, a sleeper sofa, a kitchenette and a dining room set. The glass in the hutch arrived at the warehouse broken. Matt was quick to let us know and assure us that it would be fixed. While they wait to get replacement glass, the rest of the furniture was delivered and it looks exceptional. The delivery men whos names I don’t know were excellent. They were friendly and polite and completely cleaned everything up before leaving. They even took some time to explain the mechanism for removing and storing the leaf in the dining room table. This delivery team definitely need to be recognized for their excellent service.We have a lot more furniture to buy with an entire basement and bedroom to furnish over the next few months so we will definitely be going back to parks.
