Bill Butler: We bought a new home and were starting from 0 with regards to furniture. Ive lived in Hamilton my entire life but I had never been to parks. Its an old building and I made some assumptions on the business based on the look of the building. We decided to visit parks since their prices cant be beat and most furniture stores said they wouldn’t price match Parks which I understand why. We found out that the older building is no negative reflection of the staff or items being sold inside.We visited a few times and it’s a bit overwhelming since its so large. We ended up coming back 3 times and were actually considering buying from a different store until Matt approached us to provide assistance. After 5 minutes talking to Matt we knew we would buy from Parks and specifically from Matt. He was so knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with us going over options and explaining all the custom possibilities when looking at the manufacturers website. We struggled for 3 months to make decisions and Matt replied to every email and met with us many times and never became impatient with our ability to decide. In all my furniture shopping over the last 6 months and at a dozen stores, Matt is the best sales agent that Ive come across.We ended up buying a sofa, a sleeper sofa, a kitchenette and a dining room set. The glass in the hutch arrived at the warehouse broken. Matt was quick to let us know and assure us that it would be fixed. While they wait to get replacement glass, the rest of the furniture was delivered and it looks exceptional. The delivery men whos names I don’t know were excellent. They were friendly and polite and completely cleaned everything up before leaving. They even took some time to explain the mechanism for removing and storing the leaf in the dining room table. This delivery team definitely need to be recognized for their excellent service.We have a lot more furniture to buy with an entire basement and bedroom to furnish over the next few months so we will definitely be going back to parks.

I paid about 1/8th of what it is worth as is, forget about buying it new! While I was there to pick up my furniture I wandered in the showroom and wound up purchasing a few more pieces as well. The girl working was incredibly helpful and friendly as well. If you're looking for unique pieces at an affordable price this is the place to go! Be sure to check back often though as the inventory is constantly changing due to new additions as well as quick sales! One of the best ways to help reduce your carbon footprint is buying used goods and Millionaire's Daughter makes it easy to find solidly built repairable pieces that cost the same or less than particle board disposable furniture!

Quality is much better than structure or ikea & you can style any materials and colours based on your particular layout. I was expecting some estimate costing me an arm and a half given the fact everything was custom made to my liking I was shocked to see the final quotation & I ended up saving hundreds of dollars buying from this place and getting it exactly to my taste.I was quite fussy about the colours + materials if i do say so myself however Moe took great care and attention to detail and made sure everything was to my satisfaction. From custom ordering to delivery took approx 3 weeks. If you’re in a rush they offer many selections on their floor if you’ve got time to spare they have a huge selection of samples for custom made pieces to your imagination. My mum was shopping for a mattress because she was diagnosed with cancer, and her current mattress was uncomfortable. This was a really hard day for us and I was crying as mum tried each mattress. It was surreal having to make a purchase because of this reason and I can't tell you how grateful I was for the excellent customer service we received. Donna was kind and patient, and empathetic. She let mum take her time trying each mattress, helped her in and out of each bed and also helped mum with transferring into her wheelchair.
