Zain Daredia: We order from here atleast twice a month, quality is great, the service is genuine and friendly but the food is by far the best they use fresh ingredients and the portions are big.The food is absolutley amazing I would suggest ordering the Black Pepper Beef and Beef Fried Rice all extra spicy!

Karen W: GREAT great restaurant. Generous portions, delicious food. I have celiac disease so a place that has so many gluten free options is awesome. When dining in, the servers always know which choices can be gluten free. If you're looking from home ahead of time, skipthedishes shows which ones are gluten free. My favorite and my toddler's favorite are the Singapore noodles.
Vee Duncan: The food here is on point. I would climb to the top of Mount doom for the peach shrimp. The lemon chicken is on point. Everything here is amazing. The service was impeccable. I have not been here in months and the server remembered everything we ordered. I honestly can't say enough about this place. I will most definitely be coming back. I can't say enough about the food here. But the service. As an indigenous person I have received some of the worst service you could imagine. I would come back here for the service alone. I don't feel unwelcome or unwanted, or like my money isn't real. This place is hands down one of the best in Edmonton. Thank you for your delicious food and great service

Simon He: As a really picky person on eating out, I can’t believe I love this restaurant instantly when I look at their menu! So many varieties: if you like something spicy, you have them; if you like something non-spicy, you also have them! The presentation of each dish is great and the taste is also great!
Mike Jackson: The food was very good and came very quickly. The restaurant is bigger than it looks with lots of room for seating. We were sat immediately. The staff were very helpful. They were fast to refill water glasses and the tea was good. We ordered the beef and ox tongue, the spicy lamb and the vegetables with lotus root. All three were delicious. The first two were a little spicy but not too much. It was very flavorful and delicious. I can't wait to go again!
David: Uber Uber Uber tasty and spicy Chinese food here. Everything was flavourful and cooked just right. Service/food is quick as well. Prices were fair for the amount of food provided. Highly recommend the cumin lamb, preserved pork and yam pasta, mouth watering chicken and sour and spicy fish soup. Davis (CaptainD): My first Thai food experience was here at their previously smaller location in Chinatown over ten years ago. This location is much larger and beautifully decorated.It was great to see Boualuong still in business after the pandemic where many others have not reopen. They are a mom and pop shop who quietly work diligently over the years dishing out some amazing food. Tonight, our group of friends had the privilege to enjoy another great spicy Tom yum soup, original Pad thai without ketchup, delicious green curry and a mango salad. The food was amazing and the portions were generous.They were understaff with only one server but she and the owner were able to service our large group, plus two other large tables with a smile, grace and pride you would find in any South East Asian home.When you walk around chinatown, you know the struggle these restaurant owners are going through. By me choosing to eat at this terrific restaurant despite what is going on in this neighborhood, that should tell you how much I enjoy the experience of eating here.It is a gem for those who recognize this hole in the wall and it was busy as usual here at Boualuong.

Adam: It's been awhile since I've eaten here and I was a little disappointed in the new renovations. It's smaller and more modern but I miss the old look and atmosphere. Food was still pretty good although the portions are smaller and prices much higher. The kari lembu was very good but they seem to be afraid to add more spiciness when asked. Roti canai is perfection and is a must have when here.

The food had a bbq smokiness to it and tasted amazing buuuut I ordered salad instead of rice nope got rice, I ordered peanut sauce nope none, and for the kicker I wanted medium spicey, my friend ordered very spicey, 2 bites in my eyes are starting to water and tears in my eyes I realize they got the spiciness orders swapped. Sooooo if they got the orders correct the food is very yummy I would definately eat here at least once a month.

Brian Pruden: Food was fast and good and lots. They had a Sunday buffet that looked really good but we decided to order from menu as we needed some vegan options. Chop sueydish so fresh and crunchy. Spicy tofu had great grill and spices were perfect. Had a grilled eggplant that had a type of sweet sour sauce. Was okay, but not what we were expecting. So many different dishes from the usual Chinese resturant offerings to choose from. We will be back.

They have very reasonable price. The meat was tasty and the broth and noodles were too.If you're in the neighbourhood and looking for lunch this is a good place.Again good price point and nice Pho, just needs in house made spring rolls or a different distributor.Service and staff were great, Pho tasty just those spring rolls bordered on being bad, so 4 stars.Vegetarian options: Its Pho, omit the meat and enjoy the noodles.Kid-friendliness: Families welcome.Parking: Fair amount of parking, not a huge number of stalls.
