Caitlin Dowbiggin: Nice new building with some lovely exhibits, but I find it frustrating that it was designed without parking. Taking public transit is not accessible for everyone, especially those outside the city limits.I would be interested to see what a special exhibit looks like in the new building, it was just the permanent exhibits when I visited.
Jason Pirtam: Great experience. Learned so much.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …
Eric Lam: Good experienceVisited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …
Alyssia McCaw: We went when it first opened/free admission and I would for sure go back and pay to see more cool exhibits. It's so big and open you can waste an afternoon walking around and getting to know Alberta/Yeg better.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …
Terry Keizer: We saw everything, and it took a few hours. Had to take a few sit down breaks.Staff were nice. It would be nice if the cafeteria stayed open longer.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Adam Warkentin: My wife left me because of the talus dome. The silvers, how they call to me. Every night, I pray to them. Begging for but an ounce of acknowledge from whatever God or goddess of beauty resides over them. Many times, I have cause great distress to those around me, for I scream and cry and laugh and point at the talus dome every time I see it. Much like a chimp, celebrating the murder of a rival troop member.I want ashes scattered over the talus dome.I miss my wife, but I'm sorry Sharon, the talus dome has my heart forever ❤️
Haley: Every time I drive on to the Whitemud I am full of hope for the future because I see the Talus balls. I don't even care that I could have owned a house for the price of this installation. For years to come, all those that experience the Talus balls will surely be enlightened and full of the relaxing nirvana we can all hope to once reach. When I'm old, senile, and no longer able to drive to experience this truly stunning installation, I will just scream.
Seth DeWitt: I love them. I wish it could’ve been me who got stuck in them.
Ian Bolt: Has emergency trap door!Unfortunately, it took a sort of hoax for us all to find out. A guy named Wakeem Coutoreille got stuck inside these balls. Getting him cut out by firemen earned him 15 seconds of fame, & a court date for Mischief. In a even more unfortunate turn of events, the whole thing overshadowed a story about a guy named Ken Courtoreille who was in the news for murdering a young girl. #StrangeStories #JustSaying#TalusBalls #MurderBall
Wasil Bachh: Amazing place to observe the sunrise and sunset.
Jeff G: Originally I was one of the angries that my tax money went into this. Now I think the amount of discussion the dome has sparked is amazing and hilarious. I’m proud of these ballz. They are unique and random. Fitting for Edmonton.

ZAK: The John Walter Museum is located right in the heart of Edmonton’s river valley in Kinsmen Park. As an accredited museum, the site interprets the life of John Walter and the Strathcona community of Walterdale from 1870-1942.The park has walking and biking trails, picnic sites, a playground, an outdoor pool and the Kinsmen recreation centre.
Leslie Scilley: Went for field trip with my son's grade 1 class. Great museum and the the staff were wonderful.Visited on Weekday …

Dwayne Lavallee: This is the first time visiting the John Walter Museum and area since moving to Edmonton 7+ years ago. I am glad that I could take some time, and enjoy walking through some of Edmonton's original historical sites on a sunny winter's day. Once the Museum opens up I would definitely take in a tour so I can learn about some history of Edmonton through John Walter in the past. I greatly appreciate the effort people have put into helping preserve these historical landmarks.
Sulaiman Ibrahim: Very nice house
patel darshan: Best view
Brooke Bartolitius: This area of the city is truly a gem. If I want to go exploring near the river valley, I almost always start here at John Walters. I like looking at the old buildings and reading about the history of the area posted around. It connects to the entire river valley trail system with access to basically all the bridges and fun architecture in the area. This area is one of my favorites in the city.
