Caitlin Dowbiggin: Nice new building with some lovely exhibits, but I find it frustrating that it was designed without parking. Taking public transit is not accessible for everyone, especially those outside the city limits.I would be interested to see what a special exhibit looks like in the new building, it was just the permanent exhibits when I visited.

Alberta Aviation Museum: what do users think?

Janice Chau: Interesting/fun place to spend an afternoon for both adults and kids. I'm from out-of-town and didn't realize Edmonton had such a storied aviation history. Exhibits on the city's role in the world wars and Cold War up to the current day. It's also accessible via transit - About 15m walk from the NAIT LRT station or a bus from downtown near the RAM drops you right in front of it.

Aye Soe: Both of my kids enjoy seeingVisited on Weekend Wait time 1 hr+ Reservation recommended No …

Chris Bergquist: Interesting stuff. Well put together.

Aaron Tambour: The Alberta Aviation Museum is a nice museum that takes you back in time to see older planes and jets. It's pretty neat, and they have some pretty awesome planes there. There are two flight simulators that are great for youth and adults. I've been here a few times and had a great time. If you are in Edmonton and checking out the museums, definitely stop by here.

Mark Moreau: It was pretty fun. My kids had a blast and got to learn a lot. I do like history so seeing a lot of older planes was cool and learning what planes were used for. The flight simulators were great. It would be cool to get some fighter jets in there. All the coloring pencils needed to be sharpened at the coloring station. A few of the planes that you can go into were closed. All in all a great experience.

Roland Hoyka: Cool Airplane's and Aircraft and AirCargo's as well as well worth visitingVisited on Weekday …

Julianna Swaby: Enjoyable exhibits, interactive and fossils that you can touch.

Alan Garrido: The Museum of Paleontology at the University of Alberta in Edmonton is a natural history museum that houses an impressive collection of fossils and paleontological artifacts. Among its exhibits are the complete skeletons of dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus rex and Triceratops, and at the entrance a majestic Dunkleosteus, as well as mammals and plants. The museum also has a preparation laboratory where visitors can see how fossils are cleaned and restored. It is a fascinating place to visit for both paleontology lovers and those interested in natural history in general.Access is free and you just have to go down the stairs to get to S1 and the museum is at the end of a corridor.

John Walter Museum: what do users think?

ZAK: The John Walter Museum is located right in the heart of Edmonton’s river valley in Kinsmen Park. As an accredited museum, the site interprets the life of John Walter and the Strathcona community of Walterdale from 1870-1942.The park has walking and biking trails, picnic sites, a playground, an outdoor pool and the Kinsmen recreation centre.

Leslie Scilley: Went for field trip with my son's grade 1 class. Great museum and the the staff were wonderful.Visited on Weekday …

Morgan G: one of my favourite places to watch the sun riseVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …

Kaley-lynn A. Hewitt-MacDougall: I love this shot for taking photos

Dwayne Lavallee: This is the first time visiting the John Walter Museum and area since moving to Edmonton 7+ years ago. I am glad that I could take some time, and enjoy walking through some of Edmonton's original historical sites on a sunny winter's day. Once the Museum opens up I would definitely take in a tour so I can learn about some history of Edmonton through John Walter in the past. I greatly appreciate the effort people have put into helping preserve these historical landmarks.

Sulaiman Ibrahim: Very nice house

patel darshan: Best view

Brooke Bartolitius: This area of the city is truly a gem. If I want to go exploring near the river valley, I almost always start here at John Walters. I like looking at the old buildings and reading about the history of the area posted around. It connects to the entire river valley trail system with access to basically all the bridges and fun architecture in the area. This area is one of my favorites in the city.
