Started by meeting a wonderful family who came to eat with members from Toronto and the Yukon!They are Indian with South African inspiration. I believe the lovely lady in rose gold I met was the manager and her hospitality was truly like home.She even offered me a metal utensil that I could return the next time I'm in the area.The pictures I have will do no true justice. Tara Zieminek: The vegetarian buffet didn't have a large selection, but it was delicious and fresh. The fresh veggie salad was amazing! The butternut squash dish was also really good. Dessert was rice pudding.

Dereleik: The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. My daughter absolutely loves the veggie samosas and I find them to be the biggest and most delicious for the best price in Edmonton.Vegetarian options: They have veggie samosas that taste absolutely wonderful.

S. S: Their samosas are the best I've had in ages. The veg samosa and the chicken. The veg is much cheaper so if you are looking to buy bulk samosa about 20pieces it will be less than $20. Great for taking to a party or for catering an event as a quick snack for cocktail parties. They also have lots of Indian sweet which again are amazing and delicious.They do have a dine in area to eat their buffet but it's very small and needs an upgrade for sure decor wise, tables and chairs. I am just saying this from a person who visits alot of restaurants about the ambiance.I would definitely take out food. Uber eats and all the other companies like it charge restaurants like Apna Punjab too much just to use their service and I don't think it is fair to their restaurants to give up so much money just to use their services. If you want to support them, drive there and order or call and pick up. You will not be disappointed. They have a huge menu, more than I have seen at other ethnic restaurants. Enjoy! Janet Browning: This SWEET SHOP has the best food in Edmonton. I drive all the way from south Edmonton to eat at this small take out because I cannot get enough of their Samosas, goat curry, butter chicken, Naan, and spactacular lamb kabob with lime pickle. Don't forget the pickle! And the mango lassie and sweets are divine. Yum Yum. A BIG Thank you to Gurdip for recommending it to me. 💕 💞 ♥️

I explained to the gentleman upfront I was craving a rice dish and went with his first suggestion.The dish was amazing, the chicken was falling a part into the sauce, the best part though was the little things, like for example the flavor was not overpowering yet it was still quite spicy, typically most places don't know how to use the spicy and flavor, end up loading up on this flavor for the sake of it being spicy, not so here, really shows a masterclass in understanding the basics of cooking.The other little thing was the quality of the take out container, this thing had sat for literally an hour, when I pulled the lid off it was like it had just been served, I'm not exaggerating at all it sat for an hour and was still steaming hot! Really great thing to see.SECOND VISIT: July 14th, 7:50 PMService was great, the food tasted delicious, I got the goat curry meal, while I was eating I noticed rather large bones in the meal, see picture, which I was fine with its not a huge deal for me but the issue is that either some small pieces of these bones broke off or I don't know what to say but there were 2 small bone chips in there, about the size of a dime each and when I bit down both times the bone went into my gums and made me bleed heavily, furthermore I requested the extra hot dish and obviously the spices burned the wounds even more lol.Im not sure if this is common in this meal but I will definitely never order it from here again, I haven't had any bad food from here yet and the service is great but hold the bones next time is something ill have to sayParking: It's in a little strip mall
