Nick Little: Absolutely stunning atmosphere, waitstaff, and ambiance. If you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine at an affordable price, dishes here come with much more than you pay for.However, be wary of your taste buds! Most of the dishes come aggressively seasoned, whether it's sweetness, heat, or bitterness. They may not be what you expect.Many of their curry dishes are fantastic. I would recommend the butter chicken samosas and the rajasthani lamb - they are wonderfully filling at a very reasonable price.Update: After a return visit, I can say that the food lives up to my previously set standards, however, I can't say that I enjoy the modernized direction the restaurant is heading in. The change in music really detracts from the atmosphere, the robot waiters make for a crowded and overactive environment and their seems to be a lack in focus on sanitation. Hopefully the tables and cutlery will be clean for another visit if I choose to make one.

Salima Hirani: Check out Chutney in south Edmonton for Pakistani à la carte breakfast and buffet brunch on the weekend.We tried the Veg Omelette Paratha and the Brunch Platter. The Brunch Platter comes with Kheema, Aloo, Chana, Nehari, Naan, and chai. I like extra Kheema instead of Nehari.The place is casual and clean with friendly service. The food is made to order, so it may take some time. The food can be spicy, but you can ask for it to be made mild when you order.If you want to try real Pakistani food, check out Chutney!

Riz Fazal: I just ordered pick up from Chutney.... I ordered Beef Paya, which is essentially the beef shin bone or trotters as properly called. I'm from Fort McMurray and decided to give Chutney a try. I am Pakistani so usually i am disappointed in restaurants because its never as good as mom's right?? But Chutney, i have to say the Paya came extra spicy as requested and they really rival my mom's... The BEST i ever had in any restaurant thus far. When i go back to Fort McMurray i will definitely be recommending Chutney. The people at front desk super friendly and inviting.. they are actually happy you are there!!.. I will be back to try other fair next time i am in town - until then people of Chutney, keep doing what you are doing - i loved the Paya!!!!

dezzra: I love this place, my favourite indian restaurant in the city. The family that runs it is so friendly. It always smells amazing inside the restaurant. My favourite dishes are the chicken tika masala, and the veggie samosas---they are sooo crispy even when I reheat them in the microwave the next day, the veggies inside are deliciously spiced, and the sauces that come with them taste amazing. I've tried veggie samosas at a few other indian restaurants in the city, and I think these are the best. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The Hargreaves: Lived in Canada for 20 years and this is easily the best Indian food I've eaten. Wonderful flavours and the quality of the ingredients was first class. On top of that it's much cheaper than other Indian restaurants we regularly visit.Location is a bit sketchy so we were a little apprehensive but the place is extremely clean, food was fantastic and the chef was extremely welcoming. This is definitely our new 'go to' for Indian food.

The food was honestly the best Lebanese food I've had in a while. Impeccable flavour that hit with each new dish, you just can't go wrong. Diana Hadzizulfic: After passing Sahara Mediterranean Restaurant for years, finally came down today for lunch. Walking in, the restaurant is beautifully decorated & very modern. Sat down & ordered grape leaves - declicious. While waiting, Andrew, our server brought us soup as a treat. My meal was the Taouk Chicken Plate which comes with chicken, rice, fries, fatoush salad, hummus & the best garlic dip. We were treated with Tea & Baklava to end our meal. Will be coming back here again. Andrew treated us wonderfully.

So today decided to visit the restaurant in person. Really felt a great hospitality by Venkat the owner. His other staff who attended us was so friendly and polite. Felt happy to speak in Tamil with them. Today they had speciality combo of chicken Briyani for Father’s Day. The quantity was great and even 3 people can have it. The mutton sukka was melting in the mouth. The porota and Salna tasted awesome. We ordered chicken 65 and one of the best I tasted. Their Gulab jamun should not be missed. Jennifer Thomas: This place is inside a shopping area with ample parking space. There are many other businesses in the same area. The restaurant is small but clean. When I visited it was quite. The waitress was pleasant. The food was okay. The price was moderate. The cuisine was North Indian . The quantity and quality of the meal was good for the price. They have a bigger restaurant at Medows south Edmonton near Corpus Christi Church inside Palika bazaar shopping complex.

S. S: Their samosas are the best I've had in ages. The veg samosa and the chicken. The veg is much cheaper so if you are looking to buy bulk samosa about 20pieces it will be less than $20. Great for taking to a party or for catering an event as a quick snack for cocktail parties. They also have lots of Indian sweet which again are amazing and delicious.They do have a dine in area to eat their buffet but it's very small and needs an upgrade for sure decor wise, tables and chairs. I am just saying this from a person who visits alot of restaurants about the ambiance.I would definitely take out food. Uber eats and all the other companies like it charge restaurants like Apna Punjab too much just to use their service and I don't think it is fair to their restaurants to give up so much money just to use their services. If you want to support them, drive there and order or call and pick up. You will not be disappointed. They have a huge menu, more than I have seen at other ethnic restaurants. Enjoy! I drive all the way from south Edmonton to eat at this small take out because I cannot get enough of their Samosas, goat curry, butter chicken, Naan, and spactacular lamb kabob with lime pickle. And the food was really delicious, for a reasonable price.I had Chicken Jalfrezi, absolutely recommended.
