They are tucked away in a tiny dining establishment in the Eastwood area of Edmonton.The service was just average...the server at the register didn't really seem very attentive. And the space is like a basic small dining outlet. But the food here is so incredible...fresh and flavorful.This is another review where you don't come for the experience of the dining but rather for the amazing food alone!4 x 🥘🥘🥘🥘
Asian Springroll: I been here about 4 times. I always get the tripe soup. Its really good. Staff are always nice to me.Something about that soup I just love and staff are always nice 👌

Barbie JJ: Small, quiet restaurant! The front door was locked, don’t be fooled someone came & unlocked it for us! The food was absolutely amazing. The restaurant was small with local charm! Роман Букатюк: The owner is very friendly and helpful. The interior is cozy, there are beautiful paintings of Eritrea or Ethiopia in the hall. The food is authentic. It is specific and not for everyone. From the outside the building looks bad. It was raining that day and the walkway was all puddle, so my legs were all wet. We ordered kitfo to go, but were a little bit afraid to eat this dish with raw meat, so fried the meat. Was not bad. They also seem to have some musical band performancesVegetarian options: There are completely vegetarian dishes
Amanda Meadows: Went for a lunch, asked for suggestions and got perfect advice for a taster menu. Staff were knowledgeable about the choices and were very attentive and friendly. Ended it off with an amazing espresso. Would highly recommend.

Everything happy happy bride. Could ask for this is the place. Thank you for an amazing experience. I am a bride, a very happy bride, that I will remember this beautiful experience forever.

Ross Wright: This wonderful restaurant just keeps getting better with age. The front of house staff and the kitchen staff are incredible. The food is unbelievable, every time! And the namesake? Well Normand is an incredible restaurateur and his restaurant is a true gem!

For an entree I had the wild game feature dish which included elk and boar. YUM! And for dessert I had the bananas flambee which was phenomenal.This was our first time here and it will certainly not be our last! There were so many delicious sounding entrees that I am eager to try. If you are planning a nice dinner you should visit Normand's!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for a gluten free diet!
Dale Hildebrand: We have been dining with Normand for 34 years. Recently he hosted grandpa’s 90th. He personally looked after 16 of us all night. Service and food were excellent. So rare to have such great personalized customer service. One of the best restaurants in Edmonton – a hidden gem – try them.

Thomas Stahlke: Earl's has some of the best happy hour specials. Many other places have an item or two on special each night of the week, but Earl's has a happy hour menu with a wide variety of items to choose from, including drinks and appetizers. Earl's also has a classy and cozy environment, and the downtown location has a fantastic patio too! One of my favorites for a casual evening out! That being said, the prices for everything have become exorbitant which makes for a costly evening.
Bobby B: Earls has always been a new years tradition for us and a dine in every here and there.Dynamite role is not bad, truffle fries are good, crab cake is fine, I think the stand out has to be the spinach dip. Quite rich,creamy and tasty.For being a chain restaraunt it's not bad.
Andreas Möllmann: Surprising for a restaurant chain like that to offer interesting and quiet frankly, tasty options like that.Had the nachos with guacamole and it was splendid. The nachos seemed home made and were crispy, hot and super good. The guacamole too seemed home made, i had big chunks of avocado in it and it was great.Poke bowl is a classic there.
