Barb & Ernie's Old Country Inn: what do users think?

Stefanie Decker: The food was delicious, but the space is small and super busy, so you may have to wait a bit to get in. The staff are awesome they never rush you, and they're so friendlyParking: Limited number of angle parking

Kris Marcinowski: Excellent breakfast!

Mitch: An absolute gem, you must read the restaurant history on the menu, you'll laugh, you'll cry, it's an emotional rollercoaster. THE FOOD, oh my gosh we went for breakfast and split a classic breakfast with the bacon hotcake and the black forest eggs Benedict, absolutely gorgeous food, giant portions at a great price. So happy I finally got to see the inside of this place.

Darlene Aikens: Great food and atmosphere! Was able to spend 2hours with a friend I hadn't seen in years. Never felt rushed. Coffee was delicious and nonstop.Curry ketchup to die for!!!!Parking: Parking is free but limited.

R X: Raw Deutschland warmth and sausages and sauces. Oml what are in the sauces????!!! My friend from Hamburg said the mustard is the exact as the ones when he was a kid. And this places kindness to pair up with lagano skies after hearing they're closing down? I love humanity and friendship in my food.

Tzin Wine & Tapas: what do users think?

Tina: We opted to celebrate our anniversary here and we had an awesome Saturday night! Special thanks to lovely servers!Vegetarian options: Salads, falafel or patatas bravas

Vanessa Wedick: . But I guess that’s tapas so no fault of the place. The servers are lovely and very knowledgeable about wine pairings! Highly recommend the white wine riesling. Also the salmon is incredible!Recommended dishes Patatas Bravas, Falafel Balls, Harissa Prawn …

Kristine Fabish: .Each dish came out as a different course which was great for our party who were catching up after being apart for so long. All the food was so amazing that I forgot to take pictures. It was all flavourful, tasty, and well seasoned. Each of us had a different favorite dish but also enjoyed everything. My favorite was the Gnocchi with mushroom and cherry sauce, followed closely by the Bacon. The only drawback from the night was that nearby parking was pretty expensive but also not unexpected for the neighborhood.

Ivy L: I love going to Tzin whenever I'm in Edmonton. I hate Edmonton but Tzin is one of the only things that makes Edmonton bearable for me. I might be biased though because tapas are my favourite type of food. The food is definitely pricy for small portions, but that's generally how it goes for tapas. I think considering how delicious the food is, the price tag is fair. The Bacon is phenomenal. My husband doesn't generally like bacon, but at Tzin, he ate most of the dish that we were sharing. I also really enjoyed the sea salt and caramel steak. Wood smoked caramel drizzled on a medium rare steak is something I never pictured together before, but they really make it work!I was introduced to Tzin from the Downtown Dining Week event and I'm so glad I did. The servers are always attentive and it's such an intimate dining experience.

Sheida Noroozi: We opted to spend our anniversary dinner at Tzin and were pleasantly surprised by the food and service! The wine recommendation paired nicely with the dishes we had selected. The bacon is melt-in-your-mouth amazing! A must try!

Preston Thomson: What an awesome place. Dill pickle soup was absolutely delicious as well. Would highly recommend for to anyone and especially those who are gluten-free or celiac. The entire menu is gluten-free.Dietary restrictions: Excellent for someone who is celiac.

Jim O'Grady: raved at the combination of flavours in their meals. The attentive service added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. I highly recommend Continental Treats for a remarkable dining experience that seamlessly combines amazing GF food, a welcoming ambiance, and impeccable service.I have been celiac for 22 years, love to try all foods, travel the world and have never come across a restaurant like this, it truly is a Celiac's gastronomical paradise. No matter your desires, make dill pickle soup one of them!Dietary restrictions: EVERYTHING is 100% Gluten Free

Ette: We've only been here once but I was very impressed by the gluten free menu, dill pickle soup, and schnitzel. ☺♥ We'll be back!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Entirely gluten free menu!

OTTO Food & Drink: what do users think?

Ario Magana: Came here for food and drinks with the family. The food was amazing and tasty but for 11.50$ for just a sausage was a little concerning for me. I thought maybe it wouldve atleast came with a bun! But overall the food was actually reallt good. They got busy so maybe thats why service was a little slow. Ide also reccomend some A.C but i had a great time and plan on coming back! Cheers!

T T: . Sausage was unique. Mac and Cheese was pretty good. Best dish we tried was the brussel sprouts. The pickles were absolutely delightful. I think they must make them in house. I think they're half sour dills. They have that pleasant lactofermented funk.Wouldn't make a trip to the area just for this restaurant, but would come again given the opportunity if I was in the area.Edit -I re-read my review after owner commented. I don't think 3 stars was fair for food when compared to other local offerings. My visit was pleasant, and they do offer something that other places do not. I Upped food to 4 stars.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Low key environment. They have high chairs.Parking: Street parking only. Fills up fast.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to get into the restaurant. Would be reasonably easy to get inside with a chair.

Thomas Borreson: , and what's perhaps the best schnitzel I've had in Edmonton. Sides are things like pretzels, sauerkraut, pickles, salads, fries and roasted Brussels sprouts. There are also many vegetarian options, including sausages. And, they have a rather diverse drink selection with a good range of craft beers, cocktails, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.Despite being located where I'd never expect a restaurant to be, it's really charming. OTTO is a great place to go with a group, and loading up a board with shareable stuff. It's especially good in the summer, because instead of a mere patio they have a rather remarkable garden which is just a lovely place to spend the warmer weather, and it certainly seems to be popular with locals. The bicycle logo is quite apt, because reaching Otto is actually a fairly nice ride thanks to 114 Avenue's counterflow bike lane. We went up 92 Street from the LRT multi-use path, riding along calm, tree-lined streets. Apparently improvements are coming to the segment from the MUP to 112 Ave as part of the Boyle Street neighbourhood revitalization.Everything about the place is just so well-considered. I just wish they had brunch.

Ceara Crawford: Otto has been a long time favourite of mine for a quick evening drink. Sitting in garden is a must for your YEG summer bucketlist! Also, best fries in the city by FAR but beware they are not gluten free. If they were, I'd never leave.Kid-friendliness: They love kids here!! And the style of dining works well for kiddoes. Plus, kid friendly dishes for picky eaters.Dietary restrictions: Not great for gluten free. You can eat sausage, coleslaw, and sometimes dessert. Servers aren't confident in answering dietary questions.

Continental Treat Fine Bistro Gluten Free- Jasper Ave: what do users think?

Ben West: A very calm, intimate atmosphere, nice and quiet great for a date night. Menu has lots of interesting options you won’t see many other places, but a few more common staples if you’re not feeling adventurous. Been a couple times now and haven’t tried anything I didn’t like. Try the dill pickle soup! Trust me. Staff are accommodating and friendly. The parking out front on Jasper is only $1.00/hour.Dietary restrictions: Look it up to double check because this doesn’t effect me, but my understanding is they’re gluten free as well which is awesome!

Evelyn Neame: , the perogie medley and the Camembert. I loved that I could have a ton of tasty appies for the price of a main course. The restaurant was quiet and the service excellent! I highly recommend the Continental Treat Jasper Avenue!

Sean Watt: I have been a loyal customer for years but had only just recently ventured to their new location. Both are wonderful but the downtown location really has a lot to offer. Try them both!Parking: I parked right out front, but this is very limited.

Rene Carlos: which was outstanding; the dill pickle soup, perogies were the standouts for me. We also tried the chicken stroganoff not pictured but i can say it was delicious and fresh. Out of the perogies the mushroom spinach was absolutely delicious. We ordered a lot for two people and i was excited to try this place out. Dill pickle soup, smoked salmon, garlic shrimp, escargot, perogies ,chicken stroganoff, black forest cake and tiramisu. We wanted to try the rack of lamb, unfortunately it wasnt available that day.Last time i was in the space it was the hardware grill circa 2005/2006 ish; and the decor was nice and private. I will be back solely for the soup and perogies in the future.Kid-friendliness: private big booths could seat large familiesParking: parking on the street

Claire Barton: We were in town from Toronto to visit dear friends. They took us to Continental Treat for dinner. We were blown away. Dinner was absolutely amazing. I had the French Onion Soup and the Chicken Schnitzel. Every bite was delicious. We finished with the dessert Pierogies. The service was equally as wonderful. It's been a few weeks, and we are still raving about it. We can't wait to come back.Dietary restrictions: Definitely a must visit if you are gluten-free. If you're not, then you're in for a real treat.

B Berg: Went for lunch. Staff were attentive to our needs. Food was fabulous as always. I love this place on Jasper Ave.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide entrance, tables are far enough apart for wheelchair accessibility.Dietary restrictions: This is a glueten free restaurant. This gluten free food tasted this wonderful, taste is exceptional. Their huge desserts, yes all gluten free delicious!

Matt Lemke: This place has amazing food, service, and atmosphere. The perogies are very good. The schnitzel was crispy and served with a delicious gravy. The attention to detail on all aspects of service and quality are not to be overlooked. The Belgian beers are obviously curated and the wine selection will not disappoint. Come visit, you will be pleased.

YEG.SELLS Edmonton: Delicious food, wine, excellent staff with a clean posh environment - but desert isn’t their specialty. I ordered the deep fried strawberry Nutella perogies, but they weren’t fried and reminded me of my toddler days when I ate play dough. Just don’t order dessert but definitely do dinner here - you won’t regret it!!!!

Tharun Bangera: I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and the attentive service during my visit. However, I found the pricing of the food to be disproportionate to the quality offered. Additionally, the tiramisu dessert was quite underwhelming, as it lacked the expected smooth and airy texture. Instead, it appeared dry and overly sweet, resembling more of a cake than an authentic tiramisu.

Leanne Stein: Indeed, it's a lovely spot for date night! And my go-to spot for a quick lunch with a friend to catch up 🐦🌻Parking: We paid $3.50 street parking

Graze Restaurant: what do users think?

Monika T.: Tried it last night with my 5 year old son. The waitress was great and recommended chicken strips and fries for my son which she said was around $8. They were made from scratch and cooked to perfection, like perfectly moist. Their french fries were seasoned impeccably. I had a beef dip, the roast beef could have been higher quality. But the bun it was served on was fresh and delicious. The gravy that came with it was pretty good too. Thanks for the amazing service and really good foodKid-friendliness: Chicken fingers and fries were amazing

Gabby A: Food was very delicious, vegetables were seasoned well. we got the chicken cordon bleu and sirloin super good. Super nice to us as we were the only other people in there. Would definitely be coming back.

Derrick Popoff: Awesome spread, and the staff was very welcoming

J M: was delicious and portioned just right. I would eat here again.

Davis (CaptainD): I was introduced to this Sunday breakfast buffet a couple months ago by my family. Put it simply, it was tasty, fresh and had a huge selection. They also served fresh egg Benedict to your table as part of the buffet. I choose the smoke salmon and bacon with blue cheese. There was a carving station and fresh seafood such as snow crabs, shrimp and mussels. There were all kind of tasty desserts and main entrees. It is a hidden gem. Located in the hotel lobby.

Tanjiang Restaurant: what do users think?

Alie Desrosiers: Finished a late Floor Hockey game on Monday June 12th and was craving Chinese Food. Trying to find a place that was open until 10pm was hard but Google helped me locate this place on Whyte Ave. Found parking out front and walked on in. Place is small, has just 10 seats. One table will fit three people whereas the rest are at the bar.Rang the bell and ordered a Dinner for 1A costing $16.75 consisting of Chicken Chop Suey, Chicken Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Ribs and Deep Fried Shrimp plus an order of Green Onion Cake. Owner asked that I pay him after which worked for me as I was staying to eat there. While I waited for my food, four drivers showed up to pick up orders. Saw lots of people looking inside and two young men joined me inside and some girls later on.My Green Onion Cake showed up super hot and fresh and super good. It was just right and ai could have eaten two more. Less then 7 minutes later my meal was delivered to me at my seat. It was AMAZING!!!From all the delivery pick ups I can see why this place is popular and I look forward to trying more on their menu.

Jonathen Adsit: They make delicious food

Asian Springroll: Went here the other day. I actually really liked it. My rice was cooked perfectly and same with the pork.🐑

Catherine Sargefield: First time having Chinese here. Love that they don’t have MSG in their food. Food very tasty and staff friendly. Even delivered a dish they forgot to give us and apologized a lot about forgetting the dish. Also everything was fresh and cooked right after ordering. We are probably going to order again

sahil singh: Everything we ate was fresh and delicious especially the chicken fried rice. Our dishes were simply delightful.

Ryan Mior: Hit this spot randomly with my dad and son while checking out knifewear across the street. Wow was i surprised. Got the three item plate for 15$ and it came out piping hot and fed all three of us easily. Then the owner was so nice he came out with free spring rolls out of nowhere. Despite living in the south I'll check this spot out again for sure.
