Indian Tiffin Service - Best Punjabi Food: what do users think?

Leo arick: Really great Vegetarian food for an incredibly low price per month. I used their tiffin service for 5 months and I’m not disappointed. The portion is really great. Perfect for students like myself who want fresh food without the trouble of cooking yourself. I saw some negative comments. Gary is very understanding and helps as much as he can. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tiffin service in Edmonton. Thank you Gary🙏Vegetarian options: Very good, pure-veg food with great variety!

Harsimar Preet Singh: Really great experience with them and they cook really awesome home made food. Rajma Chawal were the favourite dish to get and prices are reasonable with delivery included. It sits with you well overall. Service is also top notch.

Krupal Shah: Really good tiffin service. Food tastes just like home and the service was good.

Foods Corporation: Best place in Edmonton to Order Tiffins from. These guys really treat everyone like family. Also their food tastes too good.

Shikha Dave: The food is really good. Their Rajma Chawal are the best when they serve it with papads.

Gurpreet Singh: Awesome food... their everyday curry and veggie combo is the best.

Simranjeet Singh: Best monthly Tiffin Service anyone can ever have. Specially they are very friendly and flexible. Love their food.

New Indian Sweets & Restaurant (ARGYLL PLAZA): what do users think?

Jennifer Thomas: This place is inside a shopping area with ample parking space. There are many other businesses in the same area. The restaurant is small but clean. When I visited it was quite. The waitress was pleasant. The food was okay. The price was moderate. The cuisine was North Indian . The quantity and quality of the meal was good for the price. They have a bigger restaurant at Medows south Edmonton near Corpus Christi Church inside Palika bazaar shopping complex.

ashok garsada: Vegetarian options: Great food and authentic taste we have had in a while. Friendly service is a must visit.Parking: Lots of parking available

Manpreet Singh: Ordered twice via uber eats, quantity and quality both are good for non veg thali

Yuvraj Khandelwal: Love the food here!

Heather J: Utterly incredible food! Large portions, great prices, and delicious - we could smell it from literally the front door of our hotel and knew we had to eat there immediately. Khazana: what do users think?

Nick Little: Absolutely stunning atmosphere, waitstaff, and ambiance. If you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine at an affordable price, dishes here come with much more than you pay for. However, be wary of your taste buds! Most of the dishes come aggressively seasoned, whether it's sweetness, heat, or bitterness. They may not be what you expect. Many of their curry dishes are fantastic. I would recommend the butter chicken samosas and the rajasthani lamb - they are wonderfully filling at a very reasonable price.Update: After a return visit, I can say that the food lives up to my previously set standards, however, I can't say that I enjoy the modernized direction the restaurant is heading in. The change in music really detracts from the atmosphere, the robot waiters make for a crowded and overactive environment and their seems to be a lack in focus on sanitation. Hopefully the tables and cutlery will be clean for another visit if I choose to make one.

Sura Furkaan: I have one word for this experience."AWESOME"Best Food we ever had.My cousin's family, Uncle and Aunt, and my sister and I loved the food. The Hyderabadi Biryani and Chicken Afghani were delicious.

Cory Jasper: I've been here many times. The food has always been fresh and absolutely fantastic. It's a buffet style which is very efficient. There is always a very amazing soup and at least 2 appetizers and 2 or 3 chutneys to go with appetizers. All sauces are vegan based. Full vegan buffet every Tuesday night. Also, desserts are also very awesome.

Eibu: Well what can I say. I passed by a couple times before and I was not mindful of the schedule...3rd time a charm. It was a pleasure to share time here today! Started by meeting a wonderful family who came to eat with members from Toronto and the Yukon! They are Indian with South African inspiration. I believe the lovely lady in rose gold I met was the manager and her hospitality was truly like home. She even offered me a metal utensil that I could return the next time I'm in the area. The pictures I have will do no true justice. Please if you have a love for great Indian cuisine from a beautiful family...look no further!Vegetarian options: Entire veggie menu options and I'm sure the kitchen staff will try their best to accommodateKid-friendliness: Yes!Parking: Street and parking lotWheelchair accessibility: YesDietary restrictions: Yes - very accommodating staff and manager!

Maria Troughton: Love it here ! Especially Tuesday Vegan night ! Thank you 🙏

Tara Zieminek: The vegetarian buffet didn't have a large selection, but it was delicious and fresh. The fresh veggie salad was amazing! The butternut squash dish was also really good. Dessert was rice pudding.

dan good: I have a habit of overeating because I like the experience of taste and their food is unique and wonderful.Kid-friendliness: There seemed to be quite a few families with children but enough of a him they are not noticed.

maninder grewal: Been meaning to go here since forever because it's my friend's favorite restaurant. The ambiance is so cozy and overwhelming in a good way. The premises were clean. The food was amazing. We absolutely loved the veggie momos. The sauce is to die for. Not for the faint hearted though. 🌶️The chili baby corn was so-so. A bit on the salty side.Manchurian with semi-gravy was really good.We also had the Kadahi Paneer, which in my opinion is the closest you could get to the food you get in India. 🏽 and the garlic naans were also great. The service is great and quick.Definitely recommended.P.S. The mango lassi is a must have. Better than other Indian restaurants.Vegetarian options: Lots of options.Parking: Lots of parking.

harmanjit kaur: was very professional and humble. She helped us choosing the menu and suggested great items. We loved “Honey chilli cauliflower, “paneer lababdar” and “Methi malai Soya”

Akbar Ali Khaliqdina: Amazing food and host. You can feel good quality ingredients and no corner cutting. It's value for money. Enjoyed the buffet and the items on the menu.Vegetarian options: Number of good options of vegetarian food.

B J: Haweli Indian Kitchen & Bar in South Common, Edmonton, is a popular Indian restaurant that offers a diverse menu of authentic Indian cuisine. They likely serve a variety of dishes, such as curries, tandoori specialties, biryanis, and more. The "Haweli" name often refers to a traditional Indian mansion or palace, which might reflect the restaurant's ambiance or decor. Keep in mind that specific menu items and experiences may vary, so it's a good idea to check their latest menu and reviews for the most accurate and up-to-date information before you plan a visit.

Derek Lukachko: . Great atmosphere too.

Diya Ruparel: It’s hard to find a place where the service is as good as the food or the other way around, my family travels I. The morning and hadn't ate all day, the first Indian restaurant we saw willing to eat whatever we saw, we were greeted with smiles and we suggested the waiter bring our food quickly if possible we were in a big rush. They sad they would do what they could. The food came and I was absolutely blown away. I favroutie part was the soft buttery crispy but so soft and delicious naan. And the food was speedy too we weren’t late to our event at all. Great ambiance service and food I love this place

Lee Kevin Vera Cruz: I ordered take out cos wife is craving for Indian food, i ordered chicken biryani, lamb biryani and samosa, first thing is when im about to go out the door, im not sure if he is the owner or cook, he offered if he can help me bring the food to car and i said i can manage, still he came running to open the door for me,its the small things that i really appreciate, went to lots of restaurant, and barely get this kind of service especially for pick up, and with the food its the best indian food i tasted so far! Moni Meynan: Bought Parippu Vadas. Need to be Fried properly. I mean the inside of the vadas was not properly done. Suggestions little longer time to leave in oil so that the inside of the vadas will cook properly.Thanks.Moni Meynan

Bincy Eliza Mathew: We as a family had a chance to eat our dinner from Masalas, I must say, all the dishes were equally good, specially their kappa and fish curry, we also tried their fried rice, thattukada chicken fry, pork chilly and chicken varuthe arache curry, all were equally good.Edmonton People, watch out for the authentic Kerala food as it’s really delicious.

ANISH ABRAHAM PHILIP: Cheap and good Kerala food. They have offers on stuff every weekend worth checking it out.Recommended dishes Beef Olathiyatheu …

Jennifer Thomas: . This Biryani is very different from the ones served at all other Indian restaurants in Edmonton. It was very mildly spiced with masala.

Cody Bergman: Very good, friendly service. Limited dine -in options but was able to prepare carry-away in only about 30 min. Loved everything we tried, no complaints!

Aby Varghese: Nice omne. Taste better than any other south indian restaurants

Anish Jacob: Great food always. Great quality and quantity. Combos are great. That Tattukada chicken fry is one of my wife’s favorite. Value for money! Staff are friendly. Especially the owner Mr. Atheeb really awesome man. Jose Cyriac: I recently ordered takeout from Masalaz and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding.I opted for the chicken biriyani with chicken 65 and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the biriyani had just the right amount of spice. The packaging was also well-done, with the food arriving hot and neatly packaged. The portion sizes were generous, and I was able to enjoy a satisfying meal without any hassle. The staff were also friendly and accommodating, with my order being ready for pickup on time. Andie Yau: The owner was wonderful and so easy to speak with. The dining room was pleasant and very clean. The food was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend, we will be back.

Jededeah Yau: Wow, we went here for dine in, and we decided we would also order from uber eats. The delivery is comparable to dine in, only thing is I wish we could choose our spice level for all the dishes, but the food came piping hot and so tasty even if the spice level was more mild. The samosas were perfect, the portions were great, if I can get this level of delivery that tastes just as great as dining in, I will order more often. Such great consistency.

Deepak Sharma: Good food and good service

Sam Y: It was really good, went here for an early mother's day. We had Garlic Naan, Butter Naan, Chicken Tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, and butter chicken. Very reasonable prices and such good flavors. Haven't ordered Uber eats so I can't speak for ordering out, but very good food for dine in.Would love to try the buffet sometime but menu items were cooked excellently.

Shabnampreet Kaur: I came from Manitoba and had a really good experience at this restaurant. We got served by Sandeep which was an excellent customer service. And also, food was amazing.

Colemin Szerencsei: Stopped for some Dinner today. Food was very good, Definitely recommend the Butter chicken and Curry Chicken dishes. The staff was very friendly with showing lots of attention towards serving their guests. Visited This location at around 9pm. The Restaurant Was very quiet and definitely had a lot of open Tables and parking available . The only thing that I wasn’t the biggest fan of was ordering rice and naan separately, also the naan was a little pricey approximately 30$ for a basket or 8$ per piece.Overall I had a great dinner. Thank you

Priscilla Koehler: Our family came across this hidden gem for dinner and we were not disappointed. There were 5 adults and 1 infant. Promptly seated by Amit who was lovely and attentive! He made sure my child got her food first and it was such a generous portion of idly! We had leftovers for lunch and dinner next day for her! It was delicious! The adults ordered: Masala mysore dosa, chettinad dosa, egg & onion dosa, paneer dosa, butter chicken dosa and vegetarian manchurian Hakka noodles. We also got two types of drinks: falooda and mango lassi. The food was delicious and absolutely filling! My husband who can’t do too much spice - Amit was so caring and ensured the spice level met his needs. We look forward to coming back again!

Saira Patel: This place had lots of delicious food, so many options and the food was well cooked and served in good portions! The pricing was good, and we enjoyed our experience at Bombay Chaat. we visited and Amit helped us so much the whole time, he is an amazing waiter and was very kind the whole time. Thank you Amit and Bombay Chaat for an amazing dinner!

Monsoon Bistro & Bar: what do users think?

Hardeep sidhu: Very delightfull and mouthfull taste. Didnt expected it would be that good, but this place stands out as the food isnt spicy no extraa masalas or extra oil floating around the dishes. Perfect place for family and kids. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Masala bhindi

Sandra W: that I left my crossbody bag at the restaurant. When I went back looking for it, they took the time to check their security cameras to see if I had left the restaurant with it on, which I had. This was so helpful to know and I ended up finding it shortly after. For the staff to take that extra step to help their customers is just amazing. I am so impressed. I highly recommend Monsoon, this is a first class restaurant.

Kimiya Akbar: The food is amazing and very flavourful, just prepare yourself that everything is spicy. The service is nice.A small glitch: We asked for medium rare lamb chops, and they arrived fully cooked with our server explaining that the chef misunderstood and thought we had asked for medium spicy. For the price we paid, we expected an immediate replacement rather than a half apology without any suggestions for improvement.

Rob Kaplan: To quote any episode of Master Chef, Monsoon Bistro is Indian food elevated to the next level. Attached to the Holiday Inn, it’s a well decorated restaurant with big tables and comfy chairs that’s worthy of a fine dining experience. Immediately attended to by a young friendly female server, we appreciated being asked if we had any questions about the menu and we observed a fully staffed restaurant where they all seem devoted to providing good service. Considering that’s almost unheard of in today’s sad generation of understaffed establishments with angry inpatient young people who hate their jobs, that alone makes Monsoon a standout. But service is irrelevant if the food isn’t worthwhile and it’s clearly the star of the show. Serving Mughali as the regional style in Tandoori style, the menu is a bit different than your standard strip mall Indian joint and we heard the staff explaining to anyone unfamiliar with the dishes. Starting out with complimentary poppadoms that are perfectly airy and delicious, the chutneys are fresh, not watered down and served cold.Despite the amazing menu, we usually stick to typical favorites. The butter chicken is possibly the best we’ve ever eaten and we’ve lived in Calgary, San Francisco, and Malaysia where one third of the population is Indian so that’s saying a lot. Advertised as “smoky”, the sauce is brilliantly rich and creamy with a beautiful orange red color and the chicken is charcoal infused. It’s served in a large bowl that highlights the large chicken pieces and presentation is beautiful. The lamb biryani has large pieces of flavorful lamb and beautifully fluffy rice. Practically grease free, my stomach appreciated the healthier aspects but the flavor is also perfect. The mango lassi was thick, sweet and delicious.Naan is brought out in baskets with tongs and is such a perfect texture it’s like a small flatbread pizza. Soft and fluffy inside and perfect tandoori oven crust. And it’s much larger than most naan dishes with six large pieces.Wanting one unfamiliar dish, we tried a shared plate of Hara Tawa Paneer which were circular and pan seared with a green filling of kale, spinach and coriander. Completely different than a standard paneer dish in deep gravy, they were light, crispy and delicious dipped in the poppadom relishes. As it was my wife’s birthday, we asked about dessert and they brought out a complimentary large plate of cheesecake attractively served with some berry sauce and two servers sang happy birthday. The finishing touch was the owner coming out to inquire how the meal was. Even if it sounds cheesy, we appreciate the little things that dining out used to include before inflation, pandemics and Gen Z service came along so we raved about the meal and promised a stellar review.Coming in at less than $70, the price is perfectly reasonable and nothing is overpriced given the quality and service. Partnering with an ex chef from a Sorrento’s who trained the staff and chefs, the owner did a top notch job and I’d call easily it one of Edmonton’s top ten restaurants. We look forward to coming back to try more dishes.

Matthew D: Others at my table ordered dishes I could not pronounce, but they were familiar with. We all enjoyed it very much.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options to choose from, and many gluten free options as well!Parking: Many parking spots, you won't have trouble!

AR FOREVER: Superb food with vibrant vibe is just a perfect combination for a restaurant...Our serve Kwahish was just awesome in services, she was prompt & perfect timing to take our order for entrees,Mains & desserts.Loved this would definitely suggest visiting ❤️
