Gena Schaffer: I have been ordering freezer packs for quite some time and have never experienced any problem with the meat. Are these complainer wanting free meat if they are not satisfied? At the price of food now I guess getting free meat is easier on the pocket book.I will still use Darcy’s Meats . Staff very accommodating on phone orders. I am not able to visit the store so delivery is important.
JLM: purchased some lamb and waygu here, the staff were very helpful and they have a wide selection, if they dont have the cut you want they can cut it for you. Will be back.

I mean dead silence at the dinner table, wide eyed bliss kind of phenomenal. I mean fight over the bone scraps phenomenal. I'm the one you're looking for: Amazing food from the preserves to the meats and now they're adding more cheeses! Artisan and craft alcohol and bubbly non alcoholic stuff. They make delicious sandwiches too. Super friendly bunch and I can't help myself when I'm there I drop too much $$$ because it's all so delicious.

Richard York: Now I know where to buy sausages that range from andouille, hot Italian, Chorizo, Bratwurst etc. And their speciality sausage is Allendale. Their sausage is really good and has great flavour like the hot Italian has that nice and subtle spicy kick not punch you in the face spicy. And the Allendale sausage is really good too. I can see why its highly recommended.Then they sell pies. Their pies is not bad and look like the typical English pies you find in UK. Steak and kidney pie is not bad as you can see kidney pieces compare to other pies where its hidden or you get small pieces of kidney just needs a bit of seasoning. Scottish Mince pie is not bad but kinda needs sauce; however, if that is how the pie supposed to be then I guess I need to add some HP sauce or worcestershire sauce to the pie.Melton Mowbray style pork pie was really good. Not sure how to eat it so I heated the pie in the toaster oven and it was really good. I want to get a piece of bread to mop up the juice.I look forward to trying Cornish pies, tortiere, chicken pot pie and shepard's pie. I will return to buy more sausages and pies.

Having never been to a proper butchers before I was not sure what to expect, but I had a great experience. Yes, the prices are higher, but the meat is better quality and from local farmers. I also like their freezer where the meat is priced 20% off. Great for looking for more budget friendly pieces of meat. I will certainly be back in the future!

A Person: I can't believe I didn't review these guys sooner, because I want to let it be known that if you're like me, trying to support local businesses, you really can't go wrong with Meathead. It's not even about what they sell to me, it's that they make the effort to endear themselves to the community.Now I hadn't been here in quite a while, so when I had a day off from work, I decided to stop by for their customer appreciation BBQ. The people who manned the grill were very welcoming and laid back, and seemed quite happy to be able to bring people together. The burgers and smokies were delicious, and I had a good helping of both. One of the folks manning the grill was talking about his line of BBQ sauces, Mickey Jays. Liquid Gold was the sauce they used in particular on the food, and man-oh-man, that stuff was SO good, that before I left for home, I went inside the store and picked me up two bottles, as well as a few extras. The service at checkout was just as welcoming, and it was the highlight of my day for sure. I'll definitely be coming back to try out the rest of the Mickey Jays line, as well as some other goodies, too. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.Thank you, Meathead!
