4worldlovers: The Velocity Cycling Club respectfully acknowledges that we ride on Treaty 6 territory, traditional lands of First Nations and the Métis Settlements and Métis Nation of Alberta, Regions 2, 3 and 4.

The Velocity Cycling Club hosts several big cycling events throughout the year: ABA sanctioned bike races in the greater Edmonton, Alberta, area; Spring Training in Penticton, BC; and an annual Climbing Camp. Mountain Biking and Cyclocross events can also be found throughout our Cycling season.

Keep the family active this summer and fall with our kids' summer camps and adults' mountain biking programs! Kids' biking programs are now available for September.

Participants must have a helmet and mountain bike ready by the programs' start date. Glasses/goggles, gloves, layers for different weather conditions and a backpack are recommended. Edmonton Ski Club does not provide or rent bike equipment.

Our popular Trails and Tracks summer camps are back! These week-long camps will keep kids ages 7-9 and 8-12 learning and playing this summer. Each day of camp runs from 9 AM - 4 PM.

Participants split the day with mountain biking and hiking on Edmonton's trails, with games and crafts in between. They will learn about the importance of stewardship of our natural spaces, the biodiversity of the plants and animals that live there and cultural significance as part of Treaty 6 territory.

This summer, we invite riders ages 18+ to ride along Edmonton's trails. Whether you're a beginner or intermediate rider, our instructors provide focused attention to help you achieve your goals. Prefer to ride in cooler temperatures? We have September mountain bike courses, too.

Looking for after-school programming for your child? We'll offer kids' mountain biking programs in September as well.
