Patricia Christie: I have not used a travel agency for many years having preferred to do arrangements on my own but after doing some “ arm chair travel” this past year and reading about the trips, the guides and the people touring with Great Canadian Travel, I have decided to either go on a pre arranged tour or have GCT do a bespoke tour for me.Margot Kalinowsky is the most positive person anyone could ever ask for especially given the challenges of travel in 2020.

Roger Lavergne: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueLindsay is a true gem! She always sends us to remarkable Caribbean destinations! Speaking with her, she can hear in our voices where we want to go...almost intuitive. Crown Paradise Golden in Puerto Vallarta was everything she promised. When we travel again...Lindsay!!!

Allison Pauls: more challenging. However, Karen has made the process so much more manageable, keeping us up to date with flight options, changes and notifying us of concerns when relevant. I feel well prepared to safely face the realities of our trip this weekend knowing that she has provided us with extensive information. Not to diminish her professionalism and extensive knowledge, what impresses me deeply about Karen’s service is her friendly and supportive demeanor. She remembered me from one booking to another, which made me feel like more than a valued customer. I highly recommend booking your next trip with Karen!

Rail Travel Tours: what do users think?

Marg Cook: We had a great time on the Buggies and Bears trip in early Nov 2022. The train was comfortable, meals quite good, and the camaradery with the tour leaders and other passengers was outstanding. We enjoyed a very busy 3 days in Churchill, seeing all the sights from a warm bus and the bears from the tundra buggy. Meals in Churchill were not fancy, but tasty and wholesome with fresh salads-- even though all produce has to come a long way in November. We enjoyed meeting some of the people who live and work in Churchill and would be happy to go again with Brent and Brenda to see the town again!

Rhona Kushner: and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip, leaving Winnipeg on Sept. 23 to Sept. 28, 2022. We met great people on the bus, saw fantastic scenery, enjoyed great food and enjoyed the stops along the way. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful country as Canada. A big appreciative Thank You to Daryl and Brent Adair, and our bus driver - Milton - for taking care of all of us so well and ensuring that we all enjoyed our trip.

Richard Melin: Tasty pizza at a good price.

Colleen Withoos: and on a foot powered scooter. There were a couple of places I couldn't scoot into

Maricar Gotiongco: Lots of seats just to hang out and free shaw go wifi internet

Churchill Wild: what do users think?

PV Linton: Polar bears, beluga whales, red fox, grey wolves, black bears and caribou! WOW factor unbelievable. Every detail is covered by Churchill Wild from arrival to departure so all you have to do is ENJOY the wildlife, the cuisine, the top-notch guides and the immersive wilderness experience. You might even see the Northern Lights! Fantastic safari experience!

Debbie Das: . The guides were amazing and the lodge very cute and rustic. Highly recommend this trip to see the polar bears over Svalbard. It really was a trip of a lifetime. Thank you so much to the brilliant team at Churchill Wild.

Karin Pauls: and star gazing through a telescope with a fantastic view of the moon and Saturn

Steve Kahane: My wife and I, and a group of friends recently stayed at Seal River Lodge and Tundra Camp. Our experience was amazing and couldn't have been better! Being in the Canadian Arctic is remarkable, made the more so through a perfect blend of polar bear encounters, overland hikes, zodiac excursion on Hudson Bay to view the Beluga whales, viewing the supernatural northern lights and camping on the Tundra. The Churchill Wild staff - guides, lodge and camp personnel - made our trip a once-in-a-lifetime experience. They were knowledgeable, hospitable and engaging. The Seal River Lodge was very comfortable and thoughtfully designed to take best advantage of the remarkable scenery and wildlife. The food was delicious and rivals what you'd find in a fine big-city restaurant.Thank you Mike and Jeanne and the whole Churchill Wild team for making our trip so wonderful!

Michael Mulshine: I am not going to share the unbelievable photos and videos I got like the other reviewers. You can tell this is a mystical place with nature unlike anything you have ever seen before. I have spend more than a little of my life chasing around whales or whatever other wild animal, and just have to say I am stunned how immersive an experience Churchill Wild can offer.Overall the staff is incredible. I stayed at Seal River and the Lodge was well beyond comfortable. The guides are the best of the best. There isn't enough I can say, if you are looking through reviews to decide if you should book or not, just save the rest of your evening and pay the deposit. It is money well spent!!

Kent Stewart: In its first week of post-COVID operation, Churchill Wild created an exceptional experience for our group of 12 travelers from all over North America. Deep knowledge from highly experienced guides, exceptional food and hospitality in a truly remote northern setting. And as promised, polar bears, birds and belugas in Nature. A transformational experience in northern Canada.

Christina Kyriakidou: Loved Seal River Lodge. The experience including wildlife, people, and food was nothing short of spectacular.

William Clark: What an adventure and most certainly the trip of a lifetime. From the moment we arrived to the day we left, every aspect of this vacation was amazing. The Seal River Heritage Lodge, staff, chefs, and guides were outstanding. The bears were obviously the highlight and they didn't disappoint. We were able to witness dozens of bears doing bear things - eating, sleeping, strolling, swimming and eating some more. We always felt safe with our expert guides, even the day a curious cub got closer than expected. We also spent a wonderful morning in Hudson Bay up close and personal with Beluga whales.Although days were long and tiring, the action didn't stop at night. The dedicated staff let is know when the aurora borealis was on full display. The guide took the time to help with our camera settings and photo composition to capture the memories. Seeing the lights was well worth the sleep deprivation and eliminates one more thing on the bucket list, two if you include polar bears in the wild.We chose the Dual Safari trip and equally enjoyed our time at the Nanuk Polar Bear Lodge where nature was again on full display, We encountered polar bears, black bears, wolves and eagles. Once again we were catered to by a first class staff and enjoyed every moment. The scenery at both lodges was stunning. The wildlife you have to see for yourself. Certainly an unforgettable vacation experience..

Daniel Bainbridge: Had a phenomenal time during our stay at Churchill wild. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and well kept. Meals were consistently excellent and plentiful, large breakfast, lunch, tea time, happy hour/Appy hour and dinner. Guides were knowledgeable friendly and took the time to personalize the experience, and maximize wildlife interactions. Thank you Boomer, Mark and Mike. The lodge is eco-friendly and effort was put into minimizing the impact on the environment and the wildlife. Well worth the time and effort for anyone who would like to "walk with Polar Bears"

Helen from Conington: . The guiding team, Terry, Mark and Mike were superb and Robert the photographer most helpful and obliging. We ended up staying an extra day but the staff

Ken HIckman: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueWe had such a woundrful trip. We went to see Polar Bears and got to see Wolves, moose, Snowy Owls Northern Lights and Polar Bears. Incredible trip. Cant say enough about the quality of the staff and facilities.

Steve Brulotte: Unforgettable tripI had little expectation but my first goal was to see polar bearsI was very pleasantly surprised by the tripThe bears were there but it was more than bearsThe staff is incredibly kind and the guides are so interesting that they enhance the trip in a way that I had not imagined. In addition, it gives the chance to meet new people filtered by a common interest towards. NatureSuperb experience and very well-developed logisticsTHANKS

Tina Brown: We visited Seal Lodge in Sept 2021, post-Covid. What an amazing experience! Everything was done in an extremely professional, personal manner. Communication was excellent right from the start.Churchill Wild did everything possible to make sure we had a safe, educational, rewarding experience while in their care. They managed unexpected changes in the best possible manner, making sure every detail was looked after for each individual guest. The guides were second to none both in knowledge and in their willingness to share and educate us about bears, the north, photography and anything else we asked of them. The lodge staff looked after every small detail and fed us extremely well! This felt more like a visit to cherished family than a travel excursion. And the polar bears were amazing. We witnessed bears swimming, playing in the water, a mother nursing her cub, a mother with two cubs, a sub-adult male, and so much more. The focus is always on ensuring that both bears and visitors have a safe, unobtrusive, non-threatening encounter. We highly recommend Churchill Wild - you will not be disappointed!

Annika Fusco: We had an amazing time at Dymond Lake Lodge! We saw a polar bear the minute we stepped off the plane and walked into the lodge. The food was great and the staff was warm and friendly. Come see the bears!

Mike Hann: I have been working at Dymond Lake Lodge for the past month as a guide, and I have to say that it has been one of the more impressive experiences of my 15 year guiding career. The entire operation, from the food to the accommodations to the wildlife, is world class and a must for animal lovers and adventure travellers alike. I can’t recommend it enough!
