Vantage Vintage Boutique: what do users think?

Kevin Lee: They have very interesting stuff. The store owner is very welcoming.

Katie Gledson: I’ve been to Vantage Vintage a few times, either shopping for friends or for myself. It’s always a great experience. The store has a great atmosphere, it’s light and inviting and not at all like those dingy, musty “vintage” shops I think a lot of people are accustomed to.Joshua and Michael are both very knowledgeable and kind. I don’t usually like asking for help when shopping but they are both very approachable. When my fiancé wanted a vintage tuxedo for our wedding, we went to Vantage Vintage first, and while we couldn’t find what we were looking for, Joshua provided some recommendations/advice for finding the tuxedo my fiancé wanted.

N F: Beautiful shop and the owners are so kind, welcoming and knowledgeable.

David Gregoris: Beautifully curated, distinct styles, many options, fair pricing for quality vintage goods. A must for vintage shopping in WPNG!

Nikki B: Great unique selection of good quality vintage wear.

Austin Carson: Clean, unique, and kind staff! I can’t wait to wear my beautiful v-neck sweater!

Helen ICE: It’s a nice vintage clothing shop. The arrangement and interior decor is very elegant. The store is on the second floor but the display window is on the main floor. It’s a little confusing.

Karisa Bear: Great selection of vintage clothing. You can tell the owners really care about the quality of the pieces they're selling. Love the atmosphere as well, so lovely 💕

Auxvoir Style Collective: Whether you are new to vintage or a collector, this boutique is reasonably priced and filled with pieces that will serve you well. Joshua and Michael are kind and approachable with a developed sartorial sense clearly shown in their high quality curated collection. From everyday to formal wear, this shop is a fun and exciting dive into the beautiful history of vintage. There is an emphasis on appreciation over a pressure to purchase. It is always a pleasure to visit, shop and work with Vantage Vintage Boutique.

hamster: the owners are very kind and knowledgeable on fashion and sizing. i felt instantly welcome into their store and loved the selection. they have a large selection of beautiful pieces in great condition. vantage vintage boutique has an awesome collection of vintage and antique pieces. i recommend this boutique to friends and family all the time! by far one of my favourite local businesses.

Michael Soncina: A fantastically curated selection of vintage goods. Mostly women clothes, but some great accessories, for men.

Blandine BARREAU: Purchased a couple of items in perfect condition, and the owners are lovely. Thanks!

Beth Grubert: My mom passed away a few months ago. To say that she was a clothes horse would be an understatement. After hearing of Michael and Joshua and seeing their Instagram, I invited them to see my mother’s things and see if there was anything of interest to them. They went through hundreds of pieces of clothing and it felt very special when I saw Joshua wearing one of my mom’s fabulous dresses in a Reels! These two love the clothes, love the business and are in style overdrive. They are respectful, fair and have elevated vintage clothing in Winnipeg.I recommend them to anyone who loves and appreciates special pieces and their unique history.

Brooke Sidney: My favourite vintage shop, a lot of my wardrobe is from here now. The owners are friendly and helpful every time.

Mary Ann Beaugrand: Definitely a place to check out!

Joanne Coldwell: Love, love, love this shop! Josh and Michael have an amazing eye for quality vintage clothing. Wonderful service!!

Jackie Van Drunen: Beautifully curated collection with jaw-dropping ready to wear pieces. Quality is impeccable and the pricing is spot on for the service, quality, and selection. My favourite place whether looking for a specific item, “just browsing”, or inspiration!

Vintage Glory: what do users think?

Balakrishnan Seerapathy: Excellant collection of vintage dressings and really real antique pieces. Doug is a very interesting person. He will explain to you in detail. Great collection of leather jackets, shoes, and more. It's a kind of museum. Lot of things to explore. Reasonable price. How did I miss this place 😀?

Leif Norman: Doug is so passionate about anything vintage but particularly Winnipeg fashion history. It’s an education just being in the store and you might also find an Orange leather jacket from 1976; like I did. Score!

Cinna Baran: Incredibly friendly owners, a great selection of vintage clothing, and very reasonable prices. It's a great place to shop!

Annick: According to me, this is one of the crown jewels of Winnipeg. If you love vintage, one of a kind items that have history behind them, this is the place for you. If you want high quality vintage in great condition, this is the place for you!!! Bonus, the owner and his wife are wonderful people. If you're lucky, Doug will show you his custom built guitar area.

This is definitely in my top 3 out of all the ones I've been to. This place is loaded with super duper cool items, the kind of stuff you see and just gotta have. If that wasnt enough, the owner Dough is a top notch gentleman, and the world needs more people like him!

Helping Hand Thrift Store: what do users think?

Megan From Canada: What a hidden gem. Great selection, great conversation and very reasonable prices. It was a day out with my mom, the staff there are so kind and sweet. Picked up some real finds. Best of all the warmth of the women there made my mom so happy!Thank you! We will be back!

Roxy F: This is a neat little thrift shop with a well organized women's clothing area and a smaller random finds area at the back. Every venture in is a treasure hunt, I usually leave with some unique & lovely finds & the pricing is fair. Check it out!

Mindy Brown: Very good prices and amazing staff.

Dennis McGavock: I love this store! The owner and staff are very friendly. Prices are very reasonable and they are well organized! Really enjoy browsing there! Sharon

Ok Neko: Cheap and on style clothes!!

The Windchime System (Système Carillon Éolien): Excellent selection, wonderful staff and very good deals!

Rena Mathieson: Nice little thrift store. Volunteers were amazing!! Can't wait to shop here again!!

Joelle Plantz: I've purchased shoes in great shape here as well as several articles of clothing. There's not much for boys or men to choose from. They have a small amount of household items. I found my self a cool cast iron tea pot that I fell in love with. 😃 They have mostly clothing for woman. A nice little thrift store to check out if you're on Main Street in West Kildonan.

Carol Cassell: Amazing prices, especially when they do markdowns. The clothing they put out is in style, they have some great shoes to pick from. It's a smaller store but very tidy. You can tell the people here really care about the place. Super friendly and helpful staff. Really liked the selection of children's clothes. I do wish the adult clothing was organized by size, but they are organized by color and style. Cheaper than Value Village and Salvation Army. Worth a look for the savvy thrifter.

Chris Shewel (KrudlerTheHorse): It's difficult for me to leave a 4-star rating because I really want to leave a 5 star. My problem was that they have very little clothing for men and the prices we a little high for that neighborhood. I thought the staff was very friendly. The store needs to do a much better job of publishing its operating hours because it took me five visits before I hit them when open. A crude handwritten sign on the side of the window reads open Tuesday to Friday 10 to 3... Is this right? Who can say.
