Vasana Sith: Best chopped scallop roll and salmon/fatty salmon nigiri I’ve had in a long time. Melt in your mouth and very hearty pieces. This is going to become my new go-to sushi place. Go support this local mom and pop shop.
Linh Nguyen: I work in the area so I’ve been coming here for years on my lunches. I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this gem yet. I’ve been to many and this makes one of my favorite sushi places in the city. The rolls are decent sized and I find the ratio of rice to fish and other fillings very satisfying. The sashimi is fresh, quality is always good! It’s unfortunate that some reviews haven’t had the same experience but I haven’t had any problems here.

Myss Lyss: I am in Honba sushi heaven. I don't know how you guys do it time and time again? The rainbow roll is the most amazing thing on the planet! The salmon and tuna draped over the top are so fresh and soft and buttery it melts in your mouth!! The avocado is always the perfect texture. The rolls are exquisitely made. Nothing ever falls apart. I also order the dragon roll which is delicious and perfectly made each time. The miso soup was hot on delivery and it is delicious. Let me also say that the ginger is always SO fresh!! Fresher than anywhere I have ever ordered sushi. I have probably ordered a year now and this is the most consistent sushi restaurant for highest quality super rolls. But they are pricey, so I can only occasionally splurge on it. If I could eat here everyday I would!But what are those little candies in the delivery? I can't understand the language but they taste like coffee and something sweet at the same time.Anyways thank you guys, keep up the great work!!

Sinhyuk Oh: The owner have just changed a week ago and the place is nothing but a surprise. The quality and the quantity you get out of this store is amazing, with the money you are paying. The chef has 10 years experience and the quality is guaranteed! because of this, there are almost no waiting time. Store is also very clean and great for some quite and quality times. I strongly recommend this place for anyone who's out there looking at this!

Martin Alvaro: We live in River Heights and this is our go-to take-out sushi spot. Good fish & avocado to rice ratio. Salmon avocado roll and the sushi pizza are our staples. Fantastic Soya sauce - they have their own recipe, they don't give you the awful super salty soya packets. Owners are also super friendly.

Nikki B: Blufish is one of the best sushi restaurants in Winnipeg, when you compare what you get for the price and what you get at other places. I love this place. There's a reason it's been around for so long. The cocktails are delicious and well priced. Try the specials they are fantastic. The fish is so fresh and amazing, we had a great dinner like always. Followed by a lovely walk in the Exchange District.

Nice atmosphere if you're not so outgoing but want a trendy meal spot with top quality fresh fish and seafood and some original specialty menu items you wont find at the average sushi restaurant.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian rolls, edamame beans, agedashe tofu, wakame salad and tempura are all good options
Wilson Hendrawan: Good food, good ambiance. I like the White truffle tuna carpaccio. Definitely a unique menu item that you don't find anywhere else.
Geoffrey Snider: Been here many times before plays and sometimes make the long journey just for the great sushi. Find the visited once and feel expert enough to review pretty odd. Blufish scallops, Spicy Ben, are favourites. I have eaten at most of the Sushi restaurants in Winnipeg over the years and this is the most tasty.

dhruvraj raulji: Take Sushi has always been my favorite take out spot for sushi. Their sushi are just so fresh and delicious. The seafood just melts in your mouth. I especially like their shrimp sushi they are the best. Tempura crumbs also add a layer of crunchiness to all kinds of sushi. Salmon, scallop, shrimps, tuna, you just can't be wrong with any of those. Also, their combos are great to like the salmon mania. If you don't feel like choosing what to have that's you go. The prices are reasonable and not far fetched. Definitely if you want to enjoy sushi at home. This is it.

Dwaine Gauthier: We have been looking for PROPER sushi since Meiiji closed down. Tried many. Couple came close but dropper the ball all over the court. Who opens at 11am and closes at 7pm. Wont deliver and cant dine in. Anyway Wakoya blows everyone outta the park. Everything was fresh melt in your mouth. Tightly rolled with zero falling apart. Realistically sized not make for a hulk sized mouth. Presentation looking stunning!!! Absolutely amazing!!!Thank thank you!!!!!

Salmon carpaccio is a crowd favorite, even for those individuals who usually shy away from sashimi.The maholo roll has a fresh feel to it from the mango and sweet minty drizzle.Ice cream and desserts are a bit generic. Would recommend dessert elsewhere.

I can't say many bad things about it - still probably the best sushi in Winnipeg - but the quality does seem to have gone generally down over the years..They've also removed some of the best items from the menu, like the sushi pizza and the prairie fire roll..It's also *very* expensive. If it wasn't for the nostalgia factor I'd probably rate lower - but yeah, still a great place worth visiting.

Wai Chan: We did the sushi boat for 2, though there was 3 of us.I found the yakitori a bit toughThe miso was standard and could have been warmer.Service was good. She was very friendly and kept our tea filled. We chatted with her a bit after the dinner service.This is a 3.5 star for food but I might give it another try due to the service.My friends have complained I am pickier about Japanese food since I used to work in that industry...I didn't pay so I can't say how I found the value. I enjoyed the Hamachi nigiri the most. Since there were 3 of us there were a number of items I did not get to eat, so I felt like giving them a lower rating wasn't fair, so rounded up this time instead.

A: This is a decent sushi restaurant. Nice place for a date night. Never super busy, never any children. The service is always top notch and the quality of the fish is excellent. I was disappointed when they stopped serving Yellowtail, but they always have different types of tuna and salmon available. I can't comment on any of their cooked rolls as I have never tried them.
Samantha Colpitts: Great sushi! Loved the new style sashimi and the rolls. Well balanced and neither too big not too saucy. Watch out for the street festivals on weekends in the summer, parking gets complicated.

UNHEARD of !!The sushi IS excellent flavorful and we enjoyed it very much this busy May long-weekend. They made time for us and were amazing. Dabuel: I have no issues with the store, I loved their food, and certainly would like to dine in one day. However, I did have a order processed on a day they weren't operating, which was my mistake I just want to bring awareness to the ueats. Kinds dodgy as of right now, no order confirmation or receipt. Plus the app doesn't want to work for me.
