Victoria Kabernick: Ordered online. Forgot some stuff made a second order an hour after the first and both orders were ready in under 2 hrs. Excellent service by multiple employees. Got exactly what I needed.

Dwight Froude: Very helpful in locating the laptop that I needed. Went back with laptop one month past extended warranty period as it wouldn't power up or charge due to loose power port on laptop. Their techs couldn't help and they weren't interested in sending it out for repairs. We took it to CDC and the tech there took 2 minutes to solve the problem. The laptop had a second power port for a type C charger, it cost $75.00 to be able to use the laptop again. They were willing to fix the main port but said it would cost around $150. Very disappointed with Staples and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Sukhmanpreet Kaur: I got a tote bag from staples at a very genuine price, it was on clearance. The bag was from grey matter. The staff is quite friendly and professional too.

My experiences at this store has been excellent. I've been dealing with this store and staff for a number of years. The staff pretty well stays the same. Profesional and reminds me of a friendly corner but larger.Kudos to the owners and all the staff. One more thing this store has am Excellent deli and hot food to take out. Home made food. Yummy
5 stars for my corner store, has most anything you need and a few extras. You may not get some of the array of exotic vegetables or fruits but they have a generous variety for a smaller store. Love going to my neighborhood store, know and talk with most of the people who work there. Always having a few positions for young students looking for their first job. Prices are comparable to its larger counter parts and in many cases lower.
Wonderful selection of produce, amazing in-store bakery choices and good deli too with ready-made dinner options! Some gluten-free options like bread and treats in the freezer. Very helpful staff. A one stop shop with pharmacy attached.
I love the nostalgic feeling this store gives me as my Mom and I shopped there years ago when it was Safeway. I love their fresh in house baking (black rye buns!), and prefer the meat section over larger stores. It is a smaller store so some items may be costlier. I buy my meat and bakery items here

The price can be a bit higher, but the store has that "real" grocery store feel to it like some place your granma probably shopped at.The bakery is excellent and the deli/food counter is very popular. You can find some good deals on meats. The produce is hit or miss, but when it hits it is noticeably better than the big chains. They seems to get bins of local stuff in when it's in season, but even outside of that, I've bought regular looking tomatoes here which were so flavorful and ripe that I thought about them for days.Post office is very convenient, but be aware the line can move so slow that a two person queue will take ~30 minutes to clear sometimes. Just bring your phone so you can kill time and don't take it out on the staff.Love having Family Foods in the neighborhood.
v mike: Customer for over 20 years, I really like the place, some of the products are much better than the competition and some are priced almost as double from the other stores (coffee-Ice cream- some veggies etc but, the main issue that I have noticed (that is why I write this review is the new staff, younger people with an excellent customer service approach and make the visit just a pleasant and enjoyable time. Totally new approach to business !! Congratulations !!
Space Moose: Lived in the neighborhood since there was a Rogers video where the pharmacy was and before then even 😂 most things are fairly priced and it's a quick stop for some cheap food for lunch from their deli.

Karl S: This Foodfare is conveniently located on the corner of Portage and Mount Royal. Parking can be a challenge but with a little patience a spot usually becomes available. The store may be small but well stocked. The meat department has it all and the butchers are helpful and knowledgeable. There is a very good selection of produce, imported goods, bread and pastries. Checkout is quick. A great resource for the area and a local food store to support!
