Lyne Brousseau: Superb little house! Lots of discoveries. The artifacts are not original, but everything is very well done. Here, we tell you the story of the house, the employees are passionate about the story and tell it to us with great enthusiasm. The employees we met on the site all spoke French! Arthur D Lowry: 16/01/2023. We visited Upper Fort Gary this morning and took a short walk. The new park with the 3D steel art work is very nice. There are plaque’s throughout the area explaining the history. It took us about 30 minutes but is was -8C so that speeded things up. I would recommend at least an hour in the summer so you will have time to enjoy the site. Very well done. We will visit again but next time at night as we noticed LED’s imbedded in the steel art work. I suggest that you go to YouTube and do a search on Upper Fort Garry”. There are interesting videos on the history and the new structure that was built.

A C: My wife and I stumbled upon the Dalnavert Museum in Winnipeg and it quickly became one of our favorite hidden gems in the city. As architecture and history lovers, we were both amazed to see the entire building so well-preserved, giving us a glimpse of Winnipeg's past. Emily, our tour guide, was super informative and took us through the house, sharing not just the story of the building but also some fun little anecdotes. We had such a great time that we can't wait to go back!

Came here for a Teddy Bear tea party and just live it! The staff is super friendly and loves what they do. Avinesh Dasari: Excellent place to experience trail walking and biking. Bison viewing so close to the city is awesome. The animals and arts in the museum are so lively. The flooding boardwalk trail is so nice.

After a walk around the paths we did a quick tick check and found 5 on our pants and shirts, and then another 10 when we got home.Fishing was ok, lots of small perch and hammer handle sized pike.

I enjoyed the layout of the museum and also its invitation to think , instead of a strong agenda. Also want to give credit to including the history that many don't feel proud of. It is essential to be able to see and discuss history so it does not repeat itself.My only minor complain is the layout inside can be a little confusing. Maybe I missed the map or overview, or maybe the museum is designed this way as human right can be a confusing topic often without a clear right and wrong.

Rodney: Lovely building architecture. The art exhibits, nicely displayed, covered a few genres but for me the most enjoyable were the stone carved figures column in the entry but most importantly was the Inuit section. Jeremy Boutin: loved their trip to the Children’s Museum. We visited on a late-August Wednesday while on a trip from out of province. We spent three hours there in the morning before going for lunch, and the kids begged to go back in the afternoon.Highlights are the train, fluid mechanics, and self-serve art areas. Educational material is presented in a way that makes it fun.The staff are great and put in a lot of effort to create a safe environment. It seemed like someone was cleaning one exhibit or another at all times.
Chir Birry: What a great place for little ones! My kids are 4 and 1.5 and this was a great place for them. A lot of hands-on tactile activities. The climbing structure is meant for older kids since you need to be taller to reach the higher levels, but there was still lots to do without the climbing. My kids loved thr water area and the milk / air tubes the best.FYI - They offer 3hr free parking with admission and you do NOT need to pay for parking at the meter - it's not a system where they validate your ticket or refund what you paid.We were there on a Thursday around 230pm.
Ashley Soriano: it would have been very tight in the train and hard to navigate. Many other areas were decently accessible, some areas not at all, I'd say about 50% was accessible for a wheelchair user.
